Overview
Inserting the batteries
Insert 2 LR03/AAA or R03/AAA batteries; we recommend you to use of
alkaline batteries.
1. Open the cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Check the +/– polarity on the batteries and inside the compartment.
3. Insert the batteries.
4. Close the cover.
When exchanging the batteries, it may be necessary to reprogram the
unit. Hence it is advisable to record the codes needed for your devices.

Programming the device codes
The codes of the respective devices can be found in the code list attached to
these operating instructions. Proceed as follows:
1. Switch on manually the device you wish to control (TV, VCR etc ...).
2. Keep the SET key pressed for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicator
lights continuously.
3. Release the SET key.
4. Briefly press the desired mode key (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, DSAT, CD, CBL,
AUX).
5. Enter the 3-digit code from the code table; the LED turns off each time
you press a key.
6. If you entered is code correctly, the LED turns off after the last digit has
been entered. If an invalid code is entered, the LED will flash for three
seconds before going out.
7. The code entry is finished.
Should the device not respond as you expect it to do, you can try to
repeat the programming using another code. Please try all the codes
indicated for your brand. Select the code that makes your device
respond correctly to any command available on your remote control!
If you failed this way, then have another try with the search method
described in the chapter "Automatic code search".
Code search (manual search)
To run a manual code search, proceed as follows:
1. Switch on manually the device you wish to control (TV, VCR etc ...).
2. Keep the SET key pressed for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicator
lights continuously.
3. Release the SET key.
4. Briefly press the desired mode key (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, DSAT, CD, CBL,
AUX).
5. Press several times in succession (up to 350 times) the "POWER" or
"PROG" (channel upwards) or "PLAY" (only for a VCR) key until the
device to be controlled has been switched off or responds.
6. Briefly press the OK key for storing the code.
In view of the extensive number of different code numbers, up to 350 different
codes have already been pre-programmed per device type. It is possible that
only the most common main functions will be available in individual cases. In
case of some special device models, the procedure described may fail to be
successful. – The Code search starts with the 3-digit number stored at the
moment.
Code search (automatic search)
An automatic search allows you to find even codes of brands that are not
stated in the code list. Proceed as follows:
1. Switch on manually the device you wish to control (TV, VCR etc ...).
2. KKeep the SET key pressed for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicator
lights continuously.
3. Release the SET key.
4. Briefly press the desired mode key TV, VCR, DVD, CD, SAT, AUX.
5. Point the remote control at the device you wish to control and press the
CHAN+ key once briefly. If the device does not possess a channel
function, then press the PLAY or POWER key instead of CHAN+.
The remote control starts the search and sends a code every second.
Each time a code is sent, the LED will light up.
