INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
thank you for choosing a MCZ product and in particular the Mondrian
cladding Forma Puro65.
We are sure that, by using it, you will appreciate the quality of an
accurately designed and tested product. Our goal is to combine
technology with easy of use and, above all, safety.
For optimal functioning of the Mondrian cladding and to fully
enjoy the heat and sense of well being that will spread
throughout your home, we suggest that you carefully read this
use and maintenance manual before using the product for the
first time; please contact your dealer should you require
assistance in resolving any doubts or problems.
Congratulations on your choice and remember, the fireplace stove
MUST NEVER be used by children who should always be kept at a
safe distance!

1. WARNINGS AND WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1.1. SAFETY WARNINGS
• Check the conditions of the surface that will support the
weight of the stove. If it is made of flammable material
(such as wood, carpet, or plastic) provide suitable
insulation.
• The user is fully liable for improper product use,
releasing MCZ from any civil or penal liabilities.
• Any tampering with the fireplace stove, or use of nonoriginal spare parts, may be hazardous to the user and
releases MCZ from any civil or penal liability.
• Incorrect installation or poor maintenance (not
compliant with the provisions of this manual) may cause
damages to persons, animals or property. MCZ is not
civilly or criminally liable in these cases.

1.2. GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
MCZ guarantees the product, with the exception for the elements
subject to normal wear listed below, for two years from the date of
purchase that is proven by a document that indicates the dealer's name
and date of sale, if the completed warranty certificate was returned
within 8 days and if the product was installed and inspected by a
specialised installation technician and according to the detailed
instructions indicated in the instruction manual supplied with the
product.
The warranty includes the free replacement or repair of parts
recognised as factory defective.
1.2.1. Exclusions
The guarantee does not cover any part that may be defective
due to negligence or careless use, incorrect maintenance,
installation non compliant with that specified by MCZ.
MCZ refuses to accept any responsibility for any damage which may be
caused, directly or indirectly, by persons, animals or things as a result
of the failure to observe all the provisions set forth in the instruction
booklet, especially those concerning warnings on the subject of
installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
In the event of product inefficiency, please contact your dealer and/or
area importer.
Damages caused by transport and handling are not covered by the
guarantee.
Exclusively refer to the supplied manual for product installation and
use.
The guarantee will be invalidated in the event of damage caused by
tampering with the appliance, atmospheric agents, natural disasters,

electrical discharges, fire and lack of, or incorrect, maintenance in
terms of the manufacturer's instructions.
REQUEST FOR SERVICE
Requests for service must be addressed to the dealer
who shall forward the request to the MCZ technical
assistance service.
MCZ is not liable in the event the product and any
other accessory is improperly used or modified
without authorisation.
Only original MCZ spare parts must be used for all
replacements.

2. MONDRIAN CLADDING WITH FIREPLACE STOVE FORMA PURO65
The Mondrian model is a recessed cladding, i.e. the fireplace stove is recessed into the wall. Therefore it is
necessary to build a counter-wall that protrudes from the perimeter wall. The depth of the wall to be constructed
is at your discretion provided you comply with all safety distances for the fireplace stove. For this purpose please
refer to the
Manual for Installation and Use
of Forma Puro65.

3.2. PHASE 1 - POSITIONING OF FIREPLACE STOVE FORMA PURO65
Place the Forma Puro in the desired position and at a safe distance from the rear wall. Raise the fireplace stove
so that the height of the edge-cover profile from the floor is 250 mm (=height of fire bed of cladding). Minimum
height variations may be made a second time, if necessary, during installation of the cladding.
N.B. It is necessary to create a support base upon which to fasten the Forma Puro65. The unit must
be stable and firmly in contact with the floor.

Install the unit Forma Puro65 in accordance with the instructions in the respective
and run a quick test for proper operation. If the test is successful, you can install the Mondrian cladding.

Remove the edge-cover profile of the fireplace stove Forma Puro 65 to install the Mondrian lower element.
3.4. PHASE 3 – INSTALLATION OF LOWER ELEMENT AND SIDES (elements 1, 2
and 3)
Fasten the elements using 2 screws PH-AB 3.9X95. Make sure the sides are installed facing the right way, i.e.
with the outlet at the top and facing inwards (towards the fireplace stove).

Move the three assembled elements near the unit so that the lower element is flush with the base of the door of
the Forma Puro65.
The slots of the lower element must be aligned with the holes in the structure of the Forma Puro65.
Fasten the assembly to the unit using the same screws that supported the removed edge-cover profile.

Fasten the upper profile (element 4) to the sides and to the Forma Puro65 using, respectively, 2 screws PH-AB
3.9X95 and 2 self-tapping screws. 4.2X16.

3.6. PHASE 5 – PREPARATION OF COUNTER-WALL
Prepare the wall for recessed installation using fireproof material (for example, fireproof plasterboard). Provide
an opening of 660X623 mm, 230 mm from the floor (see drawing). It is advisable to add a flat sheet of steel (the
material as the plasterboard uprights) on the inside to fasten the steel frame support (element 5). Align the
sheet with the opening and at a height of 95÷105 cm from the floor (see phase 6).

Fasten the steel frame support to the wall in the position shown in the drawing. Use 3 screws for plasterboard.

3.8. PHASE 7 - ASSEMBLY OF MARBLE BASE (element 6)
Before proceeding with final assembly of the cladding, it is advisable to pre-assemble it dry.
Set the marble base next to the wall. The top must be flush with the lower profile. Make small adjustments as
necessary using the feet of the fireplace stove. The right side (the side with holes) must be flush with the right
shoulder.

3.9. PHASE 8 - ASSEMBLY OF STEEL FRAME (element 7)
The steel frame is simply inserted into the marble Base and the support frame.
The two pins on the lower side of the steel frame must enter completely into the holes in the marble base. The
steelframe must rest on and close against the top of the base. If necessary add marble cement to prevent small
movements of the pins in the holes. At the same time, the inside bend of the steel frame must rest on the frame
support (see drawing).

3.10. PHASE 9 – MARBLE COLUMN (element 8)
The marble column has 2 pins on the lower left side and 2 pins at the top.
Push the marble column towards the base so that the pins fully enter the holes in the side of the base. If
necessary add marble cement to prevent small movements of the pins in the holes. The column must adhere
perfectly to the wall and close against the marble base. The groove of the column must be aligned with the top
of the base. Insert shims as necessary.

3.11. PHASE 10 – MARBLE TOP (element 9)
Set the marble top on the column and steel frame.
The pins of the column must fully enter the holes in the lower part of the top.If necessary add marble cement to
prevent small movements of the pins in the holes.
The lower protuberance of the top must enter the steelframe, which is specially shaped for precise adjustment of
the top. In the unloaded part of the steel frame there are 2 mobile screws M6. The marble top rests on their
heads. After adjusting the height of the screws, it is advisable to add a small amount of marble cement to the
heads of the screws. When assembly is complete, the top must be flush with the marblecolumn and close
perfectly against the column and steel frame (see drawing).
