INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
thank you for choosing a MCZ product and in particular the Modigliani
(Forma Puro95, Forma Puro115 versions) claddings Forma Puro (FP)
range.
We are sure that, by using it, you will appreciate the quality of an
accurately designed and tested product. Our goal is to combine
technology with easy of use and, above all, safety.
For optimal functioning of the Modigliani claddings and to fully
enjoy the heat and sense of well being that will spread
throughout your home, we suggest that you carefully read this
use and maintenance manual before using the product for the
first time; please contact your dealer should you require
assistance in resolving any doubts or problems.
Congratulations on your choice and remember, the fireplace stove
MUST NEVER be used by children who should always be kept at a
safe distance!

1. WARNINGS AND WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1.1. SAFETY WARNINGS
• Check the conditions of the surface that will support the
weight of the stove. If it is made of flammable material
(such as wood, carpet, or plastic) provide suitable
insulation.
• The user is fully liable for improper product use,
releasing MCZ from any civil or penal liabilities.
• Any tampering with the fireplace stove, or use of nonoriginal spare parts, may be hazardous to the user and
releases MCZ from any civil or penal liability.
• Incorrect installation or poor maintenance (not
compliant with the provisions of this manual) may cause
damages to persons, animals or property. MCZ is not
civilly or criminally liable in these cases.

1.2. GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
MCZ guarantees the product, with the exception for the elements
subject to normal wear listed below, for two years from the date of
purchase that is proven by a document that indicates the dealer's name
and date of sale, if the completed warranty certificate was returned
within 8 days and if the product was installed and inspected by a
specialised installation technician and according to the detailed
instructions indicated in the instruction manual supplied with the
product.
The warranty includes the free replacement or repair of parts
recognised as factory defective.
1.2.1. Exclusions
The guarantee does not cover any part that may be defective
due to negligence or careless use, incorrect maintenance,
installation non compliant with that specified by MCZ.
MCZ refuses to accept any responsibility for any damage which may be
caused, directly or indirectly, by persons, animals or things as a result
of the failure to observe all the provisions set forth in the instruction
booklet, especially those concerning warnings on the subject of
installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
In the event of product inefficiency, please contact your dealer and/or
area importer.
Damages caused by transport and handling are not covered by the
guarantee.
Exclusively refer to the supplied manual for product installation and
use.
The guarantee will be invalidated in the event of damage caused by
tampering with the appliance, atmospheric agents, natural disasters,

electrical discharges, fire and lack of, or incorrect, maintenance in
terms of the manufacturer's instructions.
REQUEST FOR SERVICE
Requests for service must be addressed to the dealer
who shall forward the request to the MCZ technical
assistance service.
MCZ is not liable in the event the product and any
other accessory is improperly used or modified
without authorisation.
Only original MCZ spare parts must be used for all
replacements.

Place the unit Forma Puro95 (Forma Puro115) about 40 mm from the rear wall and at the desired distance from
the left wall (for Modigliani cladding lh corner: rh wall for Modigliani cladding rh corner). Raise the fireplace stove
by means of the 4 feet. The distance between the edge-cover profile and the floor must be150 mm (= height of
marble fire bed).
Before connecting to the flue pipe and installing the fireplace stove, check the correct position of the Forma Puro
95 (Forma Puro 115) with respect to the components
fire bed
(1) and
fireplace stove side
(2) of the Modigliani
cladding. When the check is complete, install the unit Forma Puro 95 (Forma Puro 115) in accordance with the
instructions in the respective
Manual for Installation and Use
and run a quick test for proper operation. If the test
is successful, you can install the Modigliani cladding.

Before installing the Modigliani, it is necessary to replace 2 of the feet of the unit (H=12 cm) with two similar feet
(H=8 cm) supplied in the kit of small parts provided with the cladding.
Standing in front of the fireplace stove, replace the rh feet for Modigliani lh corner and the lh feet for Modigliani
rh corner.

Assemble the wall side (element 3) to the fireplace stove side (element 2): carefully move the two sides near
one another. Avoid scratching the paint, especially of element 2.
Fasten the wall side to the fire bed after checking that elements 2 and 3 are perfectly inserted.
For fastening, use 3 screws M5x16 rounded w/flange.
3.8. PHASE 7 - ASSEMBLY OF TOP (element 4)
Fasten the top to the fireplace stove side and to the wall side using the 6 screws PH-AB 3.5X9.5 provided.

3.9. PHASE 8 - POSITIONING OF FIRE BED-UNIT PURO 95/FORMA PURO 115
Move the fire bed (complete with fireplace stove side, wall side and top) near the unit Forma Puro 95 (Forma
puro 115). Place the marble top so that it is:
- H Ö under the Modigliani Forma Puro edge-cover profile (if necessary, raise or lower the fireplace stove
using the feet);
- P Ö set against the rear wall;
- L Ö against the wall profile (the fire bed is contoured so to be set against the wall profile).
Make sure that the cladding and the unit are squared and level with the wall the and floor.

The front profile is fastened to the top and to the wall profile. It is also contoured for insertion at the fireplace
stove side (element 2) which guides and eases assembly.

We suggest first assembling the front profile to the top, using 4 screws PH-AB 3.5x9.5, and then fastening the
front profile to the wall profile.

The side profile is fastened to the top (element 4), close the corner towards the front profile and set the rear
wall down flush with the wall side (element 3).
For assembly use 4 screws PH-AB 3.5X9.5.

3.12. PHASE 11 - ANCHORING TOP TO CEILING
Installation of the Modigliani cladding is completed by anchoring the top (element 4) to the ceiling and, hence, all
of the structure upon which the hood will rest.
Fasten the top with the steel tie provided. Anchor the tie to the ceiling as vertically as possible (pay attention to
the hold, considering the weight of the hood) and adjust the level of tension using the tensioner.
Phase 11 concludes installation of the cladding+unit. You can now proceed with in-location realization of the
hood and the side wall, if present.
The hood must be made of fireproof material (e.g. fireproof plasterboard) and it must be internally flush with the
front profile and the side profile.

It is strongly advisable to protect the hood at the fireplace stove using insulating material (Calorite
or pyroceram). The usable space available is 47 mm (which corresponds to the width of the front
profile), sufficient to hold the hood as well as the insulating panel (fastened to the hood).
If the cladding is properly installed, there will be an air space (5-6 mm) between the front profile and the unit
which reinforces insulation of the hood.
