Ideal Response
Today’s factory installed car audio systems are littered with
poor speaker placement in a highly reflective environment
that is not conducive to high performance audio listening.
Replacing these speakers with high quality aftermarket
units can provide better tonal quality but proper staging
and imaging is still compromised due to these poor speaker
installations. In the past, an elaborate and costly custom
installation would be required to place the speakers in the
proper location for optimum staging and imaging. With the
introduction of MB QUART’s new groundbreaking
WideSphere™ -Technology, those days are gone!
The heart of the WideSphere™ system is the new and unique
tweeter technology now available throughout our Premium,
Reference and Discus Series with its inverted titanium dome
and high performance neodymium ring magnet. An extraordinarily wide radiation angle, an extremely low resonance
frequency and tremendous power handling combined with
outstanding linearity are the result of intensive research,
computer simulations and decade-long experience with ultra light titanium as source material for tweeter domes. The
use of new materials coupled with exhaustive engineering
and tuning time leads to a specially defined connection of
cap and surround calculated to the closest tolerances and
a result far ahead of our competition. The spaciousness,
precision and power handling all contribute to the new
tweeter’s superb tonal balance in both on-axis and off-axis
installations. Simply put, this is the most versatile high performance tweeter ever built for the car! This passion started
in 1997 with the introduction of the first MB QUART Q-Line
component system and continues today with the all new
WideSphere™-Technology laden systems.

PREMIUM
The Premium-Line from MB QUART stands for excellent sound quality and the
promise of performance well above and beyond the ordinary.
The brand-new component loudspeakers from the PVI series use the completely
new tweeter PTI 40. Developed on the basis of the innovative WideSphere™Technology with its inverted titanium dome provides extremely good resonance
and radiation characteristics. The PVI series uses two-piece loudspeaker baskets of exclusively carbon fibre-reinforced plastic composite with edge-wound
1”/25 mm voice coils and special silver-painted metal covers for optimum protection and effective cooling of the magnet system. The new Premium Performance Flexmount crossover uses choice components and the innovative rotary
tweeter-level attenuator. Together with the high-flexibility Premium crossover
installation technique and Bi-Wiring/-Amping connection capability, the crossover offers function well in excess of those normally associated with car audio
component systems.

When MB QUART decided to design a premium subwoofer, they knew that it had to meet the high expectations
of the MB QUART customer. It has to demonstrate all of the attributes that distinguish MB QUART from their
competitors including sound quality, high output, unique design and reliability. One look at the new PWH subwoofer of MB QUART’s Premium-Line and all characteristics are clearly evident. The honeycomb cone and high
roll surround provide the strength and excursion necessary for proper low frequency performance. The 3” voice
coil is mated to a custom molded cone support that spreads all of the pistons energy effectively across the entire
cone body. This improves sound quality by reducing cone distortion common in larger subwoofers. Connecting
your woofer is also a breeze with the new series/parallel wiring terminal. All connections are mounted on one end
of the woofer and simple jumpers allow for series and parallel wiring without complication. A paintable plastic
screw concealing ring provides the final cosmetic touch to an already incredible looking woofer. These woofers
offer excellent flexibility with high levels of performance available in both small sealed and ported enclosures.
When combined with a new Premium mono amplifier, you can expect nothing but the best!
