OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The MM-1 is an interface module installed in-between the radio
and aftermarket amplifier that allows you to connect your iPod / MP3
audio player directly into your aftermarket amplifier with out having to
use a sound quality degrading FM or AM adaptor.
NOTE: The radio signals travel into the MM-1 main control module
and pass through to the amplifier.
When the MM-1 headphone cable is plugged into the MM-1 control
head, the radio signal will be bypassed so that the iPod / MP3 signals
can be routed directly to the amplifier.
When the headphone cable is unplugged, the radio signal path will
be restored directly to the amplifier for normal operation.
Please follow the directions below.
1. Turn the radio / CD player off.
2. Plug one end the 3.5mm headphone adaptor cable into the
iPod / MP3 player headphone output jack as shown below.
3. Plug the other end of the 3.5mm headphone adaptor cable
into the MM-1 control head 3.5 mm “INPUT” jack.
NOTE: The radio will not play as long as the headphone
adaptor cable is plugged in.
4. Turn the MM-1 volume to minimum
5. Turn the iPod / MP3 player volume to maximum.
6. Turn the Radio / CD player on (note: radio must be on to use MM-1)
7. Adjust the MM-1 volume to your preferred listening level.
Note: The radio volume control will not affect the iPod / MP3
volume level.
