Because the lock section of the module is damaged easily, do not remove the module from the bracket unless replacement is necessary. Alwaysperform an inspection of the theft-deterrent control module before removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.2. Remove the bracket.3. Disconnect the theft-deterrent control module connector.

4. Remove the theft-deterrent control module by prying the lock section of the side part with a flathead screwdriver.5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

It is not necessary to replace BOTH the keyless entry unit and the transmitter when repairing the keyless entry systems.
If there are any concerns with the keyless entry system, then first determine which of the parts is inoperative, and replace only the failed part.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.2. Remove the headliner.3. Pull the sunroof relay from the sunroof frame.

4. Disconnect the connector, and remove the sunroof relay.5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

DISASSEMBLY

1. Bend the hook of the decoration link rearward to remove the drip rail.2. Remove the sunshade stopper.

3. Slide the sunshade rearward, and remove it from the sunroof frame.

4. Remove the screw, and then remove the guide stopper.5. Remove the lock washer using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver.

6. Slide the decoration link rearward and remove it from the sunroof frame.7. Remove the sunroof motor.

8. Slide the guide rearward, and remove it from the sunroof frame.9. Remove the screws.

10. Slide the drive unit forward, and remove it from the sunroof frame.11. Remove the deflector.12. Remove the sunroof relay.

ASSEMBLY

1. Install the sunroof relay.2. Install the deflector.3. Slide the drive unit rearward, and install it to the sunroof frame.

4. Install the screws.

5. Slide the guide forward, and install it to the sunroof frame.6. Move the guide by hand until it is tilted up position.

7. Move the guide by hand until notch comes between mark A and mark B.8. Install the sunroof motor.9. Slide the decoration link forward, and install it to the sunroof frame.

10. Install the lock washer.

11. Install the screw, and then install the guide stopper.12. Slide the sunshade forward, and install it to the sunroof frame.

13. Install the sunshade stopper.

14. Bend the hook of the decoration link rearward to install the drip rail.

1. Apply parking brake and use wheel checks at the front and rear wheels..2. Start the engine.3. Turn the A/C switch and fan switch .4. Verify that the A/C compressor magnetic clutch actuates.

- If does not actuate, go to symptom troubleshooting "No.23 A/C does not work sufficiently".

ON

5. Connect the SST (NGS tester) to the DLC-2.6. Access A/C RLY PID.7. Apply the foot brake and shift to D range.8. Verify the A/C RLY PID status in .9. Fully open the throttle valve for short time and verify that the A/C RLY PID changes to .OFF

- If PID does not change, inspect the TP sensor and related circuit.

10. Shift to P position and let the engine idle to cool the ATF.

With A/C Only or Heater Only

1. Remove the rear climate control unit.2. Connect the battery positive voltage to terminal B and ground to terminal A.

Climate Control Unit: Adjustments
FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT WIRE ADJUSTMENT

Air Mix Wire

1. Set the temperature control dial at MAX HOT.

2. Set the air mix link to MAX HOT in the direction shown by the arrow and insert a screwdriver at the set hole.3. Connect the air mix wire to air mix link.4. Clamp the air mix wire to wire clamp.5. Verify that the temperature control dial moves its full stroke.

Airflow Mode Wire

1. Set the airflow mode control dial at VENT.

2. Set the airflow mode link to VENT in the direction shown by the arrow and insert a screwdriver at the set hole.3. Connect the airflow mode wire to airflow mode link.4. Clamp the airflow mode wire to wire clamp.5. Verify that the airflow mode control dial moves its full stroke.

Front Climate Control Unit
REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.2. Disconnect the air mix and airflow mode wires from each wire clamp and link.3. Remove the meter hood.4. After removing the screws, pull the front climate control unit out and disconnect the connectors.

5. Remove the front climate control unit.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the front climate control unit to the center panel.

2. Pass each wire through the following routes then connect to front A/C unit.3. Connect the front climate control unit connectors.4. Install the meter hood.5. Adjust the front climate control unit wire.6. Connect the negative battery cable.

Rear Climate Control Unit

1. Remove the rear cup holder (RH).
