THE ESSENCE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
For hundreds of years, knife making has been a revered art form in Japan. Embraced for
beauty as much as functionality, this legendary method of craftsmanship was the
inspiration for the aluminum trim in the Mazda CX9 Signature. A sweeping single
piece of aluminum adorns the dashboard, recalling the precision of a sharpened knife,
while satin and polished trim finishes also mirror the honed look of handmade blades.
