SLIDE-IN GAS RANGES
Maytag Slide-in Gas Ranges are designed to deliver on baking, roasting and broiling performance. A new dual broil element uses the heat from the gas flame spreader and adds a 120
V olt electric element around the flame spreader to pro vide additional heat during baking, roasting and broiling. The result - superb performance and a 20 percent f aster preheat. The cooking
surface has been enhanced to include a 650 BTU simmer burner for cooking those delicate
foods. Plus, now cleanup is a breeze with the removab le b urner caps, porcelain drip pans and
Dura-CleanTM porcelain on steel manifold. The style and quality features the Maytag freestanding ranges hav e now are incorporated on our slide-in range.

Caution: Some white European style cabinets
are equipped with delicate white vinyl drawer and

door fronts. The vinyl may not be designed to
withstand the heat produced by the normal safe
operation of a self-cleaning range. Discoloration
or delamination may occur. To avoid possible
damage, we recommend increasing the 30"
cabinet opening to 30 1/4" minimum and using a
heat shield kit CABKIT V.
Notes:
1. 23 3/8" recommended. Filler strip is not used. For cutout greater than 23 1/2", use filler kit K70FILL.
2. On cabinet tops with formed front edge, shave raised section to clear top.
3. Recommended gas line location.
4. Gas Models: Provide for 120 volt grounded electrical outlet in this area. Outlet must be flush.
Area is 19"W x 10"H, located 5 1/2" from side wall.
5. From floor to top of cooking surface. May vary depending on leveling legs.
6. Not including handle. Dimension given is from wall to front of oven door. Add 1 1/4" to depth
for control panel.
