7. The next screen will prompt, "Windows found a driver for this device." To
install the driver that Windows found, simply click "Next".
8. Windows will now report that it has finished installing the software for this
device. Click "Finish" to complete this portion of the installation.
9. Windows will now start the "Found New Hardware Wizard" as it finds
another device to be installed.
10. The next screen prompts you to select how to allocate the drivers. Check
"Search for a suitable driver for my device" and click "Next" to continue.
11. The next screen prompts for the location of the drivers. Uncheck all boxes
except "Specify a location" and select "Next".
12. Now navigate to your CD-Rom drive. We will assume that your CD-Rom drive
is drive letter "D:" in this case. Click the "+" sign in front of the Keystation
folder. Click Win2000 to highlight the folder, then click "Open" to continue.
13. The next screen will prompt, "Windows found a driver for this device." To
install the driver that Windows found, simply click "Next".
14. Windows will now report that it has finished installing the software for this
device. Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
Windows XP:
1. At the desktop, connect the Oxygen 8 to your computer's USB port. The first
item you will see in Windows XP is a little balloon that pops up from the
taskbar in the lower right hand corner.
2. Windows will now open the "Found New Hardware Wizard.” Select “Install
from a list or specific location” and click "Next" to continue.
3. At this point the Midiman Driver CD should be inserted into the computer's
CD-ROM drive. In this example the CD-ROM drive is letter "D." (The letter of
your CD-ROM drive may be different, and you should change it accordingly.)
In the next screen, "Search for the best driver..." should already be selected.
Click "Include this location in the search" and click "Browse" to continue.
4. Now navigate to your CD-Rom drive, "D:" in this case. Click the "+" sign in
front of the Keystation folder. Select WinXP to highlight the folder, and then
click "OK" to continue.
5. Now the correct installation path is listed on the "Found New Hardware
Wizard." Click "OK" to continue.
6. At the next screen that asks for the driver signature, click "Continue Anyway"
to continue with the installation.
7. Windows will now report that it has finished installing the software for this
device. Click "Finish" to complete this portion of the installation.
8. Windows finds another device as the "Found New Hardware Wizard" opens
again. Select "Install from a list or specific location" and click "Next" to continue.
9. In the next screen, "Search for the best driver..." should already be checked.
Select "Include this location in the search" and click "Browse" to continue.
10. Now navigate to your CD-ROM drive, "D:" in this case. Click the "+" sign in
front of the Keystation folder, click WinXP to highlight the folder, and then
click "OK" to continue.
11.At the next screen that asks for the driver signature, click "Continue Anyway"
to continue with the installation.
12. Windows will now report that it has finished installing the software for this
device. Click "Finish" to complete this portion of the installation.
