Disconnect from the mains before cleaning the food chopper.
Make sure no water enters the inside of the appliance! Never immerse the chopper or base in water and keep the electrical contacts dry!
Clean the food chopper exterior with a soft damp cloth or sponge.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads which may damage the finish of the food chopper.
Rinse the bowl under running water.
Only use water and dishwashing liquid to clean the chopper. Never put any parts in the dishwasher.

Always remove the mains plug from the socket when you have finished using the food chopper, before you clean the food chopper, before you put on or remove the container or if any faults occur.
Wait until the blades have stopped rotating before you remove the lid or bowl. Never use this chopper without a lid.
Do not put your hands or any utensils such as forks or spoons into the bowl while the blades are rotating.
Do not immerse in water.
Children should never be allowed to use this food chopper.
Never leave the appliance plugged in when there are young children around.
Keep the mains lead away from heat source.
Do not use the chopper if the mains lead or the housing are visibly damaged.
Repairs must only be carried out by qualified electricians.
This food chopper has been designed for domestic quantities only and is not suitable for commercial use.
This appliance complies with the appropriate EMC safety directives.
Always place the food chopper on a firm and level surface.
For the sake of the Environment
Do not simply throw the packaging away. Cardboard packaging can be taken to your local waste paper collection point. Deposit plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) at PE collection points. Please ask you local authority for the address of your nearest recycling depot.
Do not operate the chopper with a damaged cord
or plug or if the chopper malfunctions or has
been dropped or damaged in any way.
If the power cord becomes damaged, it must be
replaced by your service agent or qualified
person to prevent a hazard. Please contact the

Caution: Never use the chopper without a lid.
Assembling the food chopper
Remove all packing materials before using. Before using, wash Lid, Blade and Bowl in warm soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly. Place the Base on a dry, stable surface. Place the Bowl, without Lid and Chopping Blade, on the Base and turn clockwise to lock into position (fig.2).. Slide the Chopping Blade down over the shaft, rotating if necessary to drop into place (fig. 3). Place the Lid on the Bowl, then turn clockwise into Lid locking slot (fig. 4).
Note: For your protection, this unit has a safety lock lid. The unit will not operate unless the Lid and unit dot align. Do not attempt to operate the unit without locking the Lid in place.

Cut food into approximately 1/2 inch pieces and place up to 2 cups of dry food in the Bowl at a time
. Place the lid on the Bowl and turn to lock into place. Plug the cord into an outlet. Press and hold the HI or LO Pulse button for 5-10 seconds and then release; the motor will stop. Repeat for a finer consistency. Hold the unit with one hand placed on top of the lid, to keep the unit steady. When finished chopping, allow Chopping Blade to stop rotating before removing contents. Remove the Lid and grasp the stem of the Chopping Blade. Carefully remove it from the Bowl. Remove the Bowl from the Base and empty the processed food.
Note: Do not use Bowl for storing food..
Important: Do not exceed the maximum capacity!
Important: Most food requires only 3-10 seconds. Do not operate longer than 1 minutes.
Troubleshooting
the power is switched on. the fuse in the plug. the lid is fitted correctly.
Important: Only add small amounts of liquid into the chopper, large quantities may leak from the container.

Combine the first 8 ingredients (excluding olive oil) and salmon fillites in food chopper bowl and process until well mixed and finely chopped. Brush salmon fillets on both sides with the herb mixture. Grill salmon over medium-hot coals for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
GRILLED HERB CRUSTED SALMON
1 (8-ounce) packaged cream cheese, 1 tablespoon capers softened. 1 2 cup roasted red pepper, 2 green onions, chopped fresh roasted or jarred
Pat pepper dry. Place all ingredients in food chopper bowl and process until well combined. Serve with all assortment of crackers. Make about 1 1 4 cups spread.
