Safety Warnings Please note: Because DAB digital radio is a developing technology, station
Covers - Do not remove any fixed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
Weather - It is advisable to unplug an external aerial during a thunderstorm. Ventilation - The ventilation holes on the casing prevent your product from
over heating. Do not block or cover these holes, especially with cloth or paper. It is recommended you leave a 10cm gap all around the unit.
Damage - Never use the product if it is damaged in any way. Always place the unit on a flat level surface avoiding anywhere which may be subject to strong vibration.
Temperature - Avoid extremes of temperature, either hot or cold, place your product well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric fires. Dont use this unit in tropical climates.
Moisture - Do not allow your product to be exposed to rain, moisture or dust. If any liquid is spilt into this product it can cause serious damage. If you spill any liquid switch the unit off at the mains immediately. Contact your store immediately.
Naked Flames - Naked flames such as candles and night lights should not be placed on or near the unit.
Accessibility - ensure that any mains plug is easily accessible. Protect Fine Furniture - Use protective material under the unit when placing
it on a surface with a natural or lacquer finish.

Getting Started
1. Connect the AC adapter to the mains supply and then connect the adapter plug to the DC connector.
2. Carefully extend the antenna wire.
3. Press the STANDBY button to switch on your radio. The radio will perform a quick scan of UK Band III DAB channels. The display will show "AUTOSCAN".
The radio then starts scanning for stations and the display shows DAB *.
When autoscan finishes, the unit switches to standby. If no stations are found it may be necessary to relocate your radio to a position giving better reception.
4. Press the STANDBY button to switch on your radio.
5. Press the VOLUME+ or VOLUME- buttons to adjust the volume level.
Restoring the Factory Settings
If you move the radio to another part of the country, your pre-tuned DAB stations may not be available. To make the radio autoscan for new DAB stations, please do the following:
1. Press and hold the STANDBY button until the display shows "RESET ***", then release the STANDBY button.
2. When the display shows "RESET OK", press the STANDBY button again. The radio will start scanning for DAB stations as described in "Getting Started".

Listening to DAB Radio
1. Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to scroll through the list of available stations. The display shows the name of the selected station.
2. Position the antenna wire to give the best reception, using the signal strength display as a guide.
If the selected station is unavailable, the display will flash NO SIGNL.
Secondary services
1. Some DAB radio stations have one or more secondary services associated with them. If a station has a secondary service, the display will flash "Secondary" for 4 seconds each minute.
2. To listen the secondary service, press the TUNE+ button. The display shows Secondary.
