1 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Split312! This active HDMI splitter
connects two HD screens (e.g. HDTV and HD projector) with one HDMI source (Blu-ray
Player, HD set-top box, HD Game Console, etc.). In contrast to passive HDMI splitters,
this is done without any signal or encryption loss and while retaining optimum image
quality. It is also ideal for using in combination with an HDMI extender (e.g. to another
room). The Split312 supports Full HD resolutions up to 1080p.
Marmitek products are manufactured with great care and are of the highest quality.
Please read this manual carefully and follow the instructions to ensure you make the
most of the opportunities offered by this product.

3 INSTALLATION
1. Connect the HDMI source to the Split312’s ‘input’ via an HDMI cable (not supplied).
2. Connect the two HDMI screens (HDTV or HD projector) to the Split312’s ‘output’ via
HDMI cables (not supplied).
3. Connect the power adapter to the Split312 and plug into the socket.
Tip for installation:
Only use category 2 certified HDMI cables in order to retain image and sound quality.
Do not use much force to connect or disconnect the HDMI cables otherwise they may
become damaged.
4 USE
The maximum resolution that can be used is entirely dependent on the HDMI source and
the connected HDMI screens. The resolution of the HDMI source must be set so that
both HDMI screens support it. Check the instructions for the connected HDMI equipment to verify the maximum supported resolution and how this can be set.
Once all equipment is connected and set in the correct way, switch everything off and
then on again. Select the correct HDMI input on your HDMI screen and you should then
see the same signal on each screen, with the same resolution.
Tip for usage:
Ensure that the HDMI source and screens fully support the HDCP protocol in order to
prevent any problems.
5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No (or bad) image and sound
If you see a bad image or no image at all after connecting the HDMI splitter, try to establish what the problem is by connecting your devices, one by one, to your screen (TV,
monitor or projector). This will allow you to establish whether the problem lies in the
HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI splitter or the screen. HDMI equipment that
has not been tested and certified by ATC (Authorized Test Centers) may cause image and
sound problems.
• Check whether the Split312’s power adapter is connected and plugged in;
• Use the highest quality HDMI certified cables (category 2 HDMI certified);
• Do not use HDMI cables that are longer than specified in the technical data;
• Check whether the HDMI cables and/or connectors are damaged;
• Both the HDMI source as well as your screen must fully support HDMI;

• Check whether your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP (High-bandwidth
Digital Content Protection).

1 EINFÜHRUNG
Herzlichen Glückwunsch mit dem Erwerb des Marmitek Split312.! Dieser aktive HDMI
Splitter verbindet zwei HD Schirme (z.B. HDTV und HD Projektor) mit einer HDMI Quelle
(Blu-Ray Player, HD Settop Box, HD Game Pulte usw.). Im Gegensatz zu passiven HDMI
Splittern geschieht dies ohne jeglichen Signal- oder Verschlüsselungsverlust und unter
Beibehaltung optimaler Bildqualität. Auch ideal für die Verwendung mit einer HDMI
Verlängerung (z.B. in einen anderen Raum). Der Split32 unterstützt Full HD Auflösungen
bis zu 1080P.
Die Produkte Marmiteks werden mit großer Sorgfalt hergestellt und sind von hoher
Qualität. Lesen Sie diese Anleitung bitte sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie die
Anweisungen, um die Möglichkeiten dieses Produkts optimal nutzen zu können.

3 INSTALLATION
1. Schließen Sie die HDMI Quelle über ein HDMI Kabel (nicht mitenthalten) an den
“Input“ des Split312 an.
2. Schließen Sie die zwei HDMI Schirme (HDTV oder HD Projektor) über HDMI Kabel
(nicht mitenthalten) an den “Output” des Split312 an.
3. Schließen Sie den Speisungsadapter an den Split312 an und verbinden Sie diesen mit
der Steckdose.
Tipps zur Installation:
Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualität ausschließlich Kategorie
2 HDMI zertifizierte Kabel.
Verwenden Sie wenig Kraft, um die HDMI Kabel anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese
könnten sonst Schäden erleiden.
4 ANWENDUNG
Wie hoch die maximale Auflösung ist, hängt vollkommen von der HDMI Quelle und den
angeschlossenen HDMI Schirmen ab. Die Auflösung der HDMI Quelle muss so eingestellt werden, dass beide HDMI Schirme diese Auflösung unterstützen. Schauen Sie in
der Gebrauchsanleitung der angeschlossenen HDMI Apparatur, welche Auflösung maximal unterstützt wird und wie diese eingestellt werden kann.
Schalten Sie, wenn alles richtig angeschlossen und eingestellt ist, sämtliche Apparatur
aus und wieder an. Wählen Sie den richtigen HDMI Eingang auf Ihrem HDMI Schirm und
Sie werden auf beiden Schirmen das gleiche Signal mit der gleichen Auflösung sehen.
Tipps zur Verwendung:
Um Problemen vorzubeugen achten Sie bitte darauf, dass die HDMI Quelle und Schirme
das HDCP Protokoll vollständig unterstützen.
5 HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton
Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Splitters kein, oder ein schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen Sie dann die Geräte Stück für Stück an Ihren Schirm anzuschließen
(TV, Monitor oder Projektor), um zu sehen, wo das Problem liegt. Auf diese Art können
Sie ermitteln ob es an den HDMI Quellen, den HDMI Kabeln, dem HDMI Splitter oder
dem Schirm liegt. Nicht von ATC (Authorized Test Centers) getestete und zertifizierte
HDMI Geräte können Bild- und Tonprobleme verursachen.
• Prüfen Sie, ob der Speisungsadapter des Split312 angeschlossen und mit der

Steckdose verbunden ist.
• Verwenden Sie hochwertige, HDMI geprüfte Kabel (Kategorie 2 HDMI zertifiziert)
• Verwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den technischen Daten aufgeführt.
• Überprüfen Sie die HDMI Kabel und/oder Anschlüsse auf Beschädigungen.
• Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr Bildschirm muss HDMI vollständig unterstützen.
• Prüfen Sie, ob Ihre HDMI Quellen und Bildschirm das Verschlüsselungssystem HDCP

1 INTRODUCTION
Merci d’avoir acheté Split312 de Marmitek ! Ce répartiteur HDMI actif relie deux écrans
HD (par exemple télévision et projecteur HD) avec une seule source HDMI (lecteur Bluray, settop box HD, console de jeux HD etc.). Contrairement aux répartiteurs HDMI passifs ceci est fait sans aucune perte de signal ou de chiffrement et avec le maintien d’une
qualité de l’image optimale. Le répartiteur peut aussi être utilisé idéalement en combinaison avec une rallonge HDMI (par exemple vers une autre pièce). Split312 soutient les
résolutions HD Full jusqu’à 1080p.

3 INSTALLATION
1. Raccordez la source HDMI à l’entrée du Split312 par un câble HDMI (non livré).
2. Raccordez les deux écrans HDMI (télévision ou projecteur HD) à la sortie de Split312
par les câbles HDMI (non livrés).
3. Raccordez l’adaptateur d’alimentation au Split312 et branchez la prise.
Tuyau pour l’installation :
Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI de catégorie 2 pour le maintien de la qualité du son et de l’image.
N’utilisez pas de force pour raccorder ou débrancher les câbles HDMI, ceux-ci risquent
alors d’être abîmés.
4 UTILISATION
La résolution maximale pouvant être utilisée dépend entièrement de la source HDMI et
des écrans HDMI raccordés. La résolution de la source HDMI doit être réglée de telle
façon que les deux écrans HDMI soutiennent cette résolution. Vérifiez dans le mode
d’emploi des appareils HDMI raccordés quelle est la résolution maximale et comment
celle-ci peut être réglée.
Lorsque tous les appareils sont raccordés et réglés correctement, débranchez tous les
appareils et rebranchez-les. Choisissez l’entrée HDMI correcte sur votre écran HDMI et
vous verrez le même signal avec la même résolution sur les deux écrans.
Tuyau pour l’utilisation :
Veillez à ce que la source et les écrans HDMI soutiennent entièrement le protocole HDCP
afin d’éviter des problèmes.
5 FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS
Son ou image inexistants (ou mauvais)
Si après avoir raccordé le répartiteur HDMI l’image est mauvaise ou inexistante, essayez
de tracer le problème en raccordant les appareils un par un à votre écran (télévision,
moniteur ou projecteur). Ainsi vous pouvez déterminer si le problème est causé par les
sources HDMI, les câbles HDMI, le répartiteur HDMI ou l’écran. Les appareils HDMI n’ayant pas été soumis à un test et certifiés par ATC (Authorized Test Centers) peuvent causer des problèmes de son ou d’image.
• Contrôlez que l’adaptateur d’alimentation de Split312 soit raccordé et branché.
• Utilisez des câbles certifiés HDMI de la plus haute qualité (qualité 2 HDMI certifiée)
• N’utilisez pas de câbles HDMI plus longs qu’indiqué dans les caractéristiques techni-

• Contrôlez que les câbles et/ou connecteurs HDMI ne soient pas abîmés.

1 INTRODUCCIÓN
¡Felicitaciones por la compra del Marmitek Split312! Este splitter HDMI activo conecta
dos pantallas HD (p.e. de una televisión de alta definición HDTV y de un proyector HD)
con una fuente HDMI (reproductor Blu-ray, HD set top box, HD videoconsola etc.).
Contrariamente a la transmisión de un splitter HDMI pasivo, la transmisión con este splitter activo funciona sin pérdida de señal o encriptación, preservando la óptima calidad de
la imagen. También puede combinarse perfectamente con una extensión HDMI (p.e. a
otra habitación). El Split312 soporta resoluciones Full HD hasta 1080p.
Los productos de Marmitek se fabrican con el mayor esmero y son de alta calidad. Por
favor lea cuidadosamente este modo de empleo y sigua las instrucciones para poder

3 INSTALACIÓN
1. Conecta la fuente HDMI a la entrada (“input”) del Split312 utilizando un cable HDMI
(no suministrado).
2. Conecta las dos pantallas HDMI (HDTV o proyector HD) a las salidas (“output”) del
Split312 utilizando cables HDMI (no suminsitrados).
3. Conecta el adaptador de alimentación al Split312 y enchúfalo.
Aviso para la instalación:
Utiliza exclusivamente cables HDMI certificados de la categoría 2 para mantener la calidad de imagen y sonido.
No conecte o desconecte los cables HDMI con mucha fuerza, se pueden dañar.
4 EMPLEO
La resolución máxima que puede emplearse depende de la fuente HDMI y de las pantallas HDMI conectadas. Ha de ajustar la resolución de la fuente HDMI de manera que
las dos pantallas la soportan. Consulta el modo de empleo de los aparatos HDMI conectados para información sobre la resolución máxima que se soporta y sobre el ajuste de
la resolución.
Cuando todo el equipo está correctamente conectado y ajustado, ha de apagar y luego
encenderlo de nuevo. Selecciona la entrada correcta HDMI en la pantalla HDMI y en las
dos pantallas aparecerá la misma señal con la misma resolucón.
Aviso para el empleo:
Para evitar problemas es importante que tanto la fuente HDMI como también las pantallas soporten completamente el protocolo HDCP.
5 PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES
No imagen y sonido o mala imagen y sonido
Si después de haber conectado el splitter HDMI tiene mala imagen o sonido, por favor
conecta individualmente los aparatos a la pantalla (televisión, pantalla o proyector) para
encontrar la origen del problema. De esta manera puede determinar si el problema tiene
que ver con las fuentes HDMI, los cables HDMI, el splitter HDMO o la pantalla. Aparatos
HDMI no comprobados y certificados por los ATC (Authorized Test Centers) pueden causar problemas de imagen y sonido.
• Controla si el adaptador de alimentación delSplit312 está conectado y enchufado.
• Emplea cables HDMI de calidad más alta y certificados de la categoría 2.
• No emplee cables HDMI más largos como indicado en los datos técnicos.

1 INTRODUZIONE
Congratulazioni per l’acquisto del Split312 di Marmitek! Questo splitter HDMI attivo collega due monitor HD (per esempio HDTV e proiettore HD) ad una fonte HDMI (lettore
Blu-ray, set top box HD, console videogiochi HD, ecc.). Contrariamente agli splitter HDMI
passivi questo è possibile senza alcuna perdita di segnale o encrizione e conservando la

3 INSTALLAZIONE
1. Collegate la fonte HDMI all’ingresso dello Split312 tramite un cavo HDMI (non fornito in dotazione).
2. Collegate i due monitor HDMI (HDTV o proiettore HD) all’uscita dello Split312 tramite cavi HDMI (non forniti in dotazione).
3. Collegate l’adattore di alimentazione allo Split312 e mettete la spina nella presa.
Consiglio per l’installazione:
Usare solo cavi HDMI certificati categoria 2 per mantenere la qualità dell’immagine e del
suono.
Collegate o scollegate cautamente i cavi HDMI per prevenire cavi danneggiati.
4 USO
La risoluzione massima usata dipende completamente dalla fonte HDMI e dai monitor
HDMI collegati. La risoluzione della fonte HDMI va regolata in modo che ambedue i
monitor HDMI supportino questa risoluzione. Leggete nel manuale di uso dei dispositivi
HDMI collegati quale è la massima risoluzione supportata e come si può regolarla.
Dopo aver collegati e regolati tutti i dispositivi nel modo corretto, dovete spegnere e poi
riaccendere tutti i dispositivi. Scegliete l'apposito ingresso HDMI sul vostro monitor HDMI
e poi vedrete su ambedue i monitor lo stesso segnale alla stessa risoluzione.
Consiglio per l’uso:
Per evitare problemi assicuratevi che la fonte HDMI ed i monitor supportino interamente il protocollo HDCP.
5 DOMANDE FREQUENTI
Mancano l'immagine e il suono (o sono di cattiva qualità)
Nel caso che dopo il collegamento dello splitter HDMI manchi l'immagine o sia di cattiva qualità, cercate di risolvere il problema collegando uno per uno i dispositivi al vostro
monitor (TV, schermo o proiettore). In tal modo potete determinare se il problema si
trova nelle fonti HDMI, nei cavi HDMI, nello splitter HDMI o nel monitor. I dispositivi
HDMI non collaudati e certificati dagli ATC (Authorized Test Centers) possono causare
problemi di immagine e suono.
• Controllate se l’adattore di alimentazione dello Split312 è stato collegato e nella
presa di corrente.
• Usate solo cavi HDMI certificati della qualità più alta (HDMI certificati categoria 2 ).
• Non usate cavi HDMI più lunghi di quanto indicato nei dati tecnici.

INTRODUCTIE
Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van de Marmitek Split312! Deze actieve HDMI splitter verbindt twee HD schermen (bijvoorbeeld HDTV en HD projector) met één HDMI bron (Bluray speler, HD settop box, HD Game Console enz.). In tegenstelling tot passieve HDMI
splitters kan dit zonder enig signaal- of encryptieverlies en met behoud van optimale
beeldkwaliteit. Ook ideaal te gebruiken in combinatie met een HDMI verlenger (bijvooreeld naar een andere ruimte). De Split312 ondersteunt Full HD resoluties tot 1080p.

INSTALLATIE
1. Sluit de HDMI bron aan op de “input” van de Split312 via een HDMI kabel (niet
meegeleverd).
2. Sluit de twee HDMI schermen (HDTV of HD projector) aan op de “output” van de
Split312 via HDMI kabels (niet meegeleverd).
3. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de Split312 en steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
Tip bij installatie:
Gebruik uitsluitend categorie 2 HDMI gecertificeerde kabels voor behoud van beeld- en
geluidskwaliteit.
Gebruik weinig kracht om de HDMI kabels aan te sluiten of los te koppelen, deze kunnen hierdoor beschadigd raken.
GEBRUIK
De maximale resolutie die gebruikt kan worden is volledig afhankelijk van de HDMI bron
en de aangesloten HDMI schermen. De resolutie van de HDMI bron dient zo ingesteld
te worden dat beide HDMI schermen deze resolutie ondersteunen. Kijk in de gebruiksaanwijzing van de aangesloten HDMI apparatuur wat de maximale ondersteunde resolutie is en hoe deze ingesteld kan worden.
Als alle apparatuur op de juiste manier is aangesloten en ingesteld schakel dan alle apparatuur uit en weer aan. Selecteer de juiste HDMI ingang op uw HDMI scherm en u zult
op beide schermen hetzelfde signaal zien met dezelfde resolutie.
Tip bij gebruik:
Zorg ervoor dat de HDMI bron en schermen het HDCP protocol volledig ondersteunen
om problemen te voorkomen.
VEEL GESTELDE VRAGEN
Geen (of slecht) beeld en geluid
Indien u slecht of geen beeld ervaart na het aansluiten van de HDMI splitter, probeer dan
het probleem te achterhalen door de apparaten één voor één aan te sluiten op uw
scherm (TV, monitor of projector). Op deze manier kunt u bepalen of het probleem zich
bevindt in de HDMI bronnen, de HDMI kabels, de HDMI splitter of het scherm. HDMI
apparaten die niet door ATC (Authorized Test Centers) getest en gecertificeerd zijn kunnen beeld en geluidsproblemen veroorzaken.
Controleer of de voedingsadapter van de Split312 is aangesloten en in het stopcontact
zit.
