INTRODUCTION

The Marmitek BoomBoom 260 is a unique portable audio
system combining Bluetooth, Lithium Ion Battery &
Waterproof Technologies. The result is a shock resistant,
floating, waterproof, full range rechargeable wireless
speaker system. Does everything from stream & play your
music from your Bluetooth enabled Smartphone or audio
device, to answering your calls over the built-in speaker
phone!

Press & release POWER button 1 time, wait approx. 3
seconds for 1 short beep tone indicating unit is powered
ON

Connect USB to power source.
LED indicates charging status.

SPEAKER VOLUME

Press [ – ] to decrease volume, Press [ + ] to increase
volume.
NOTE: 1 short beep tone will sound when max vol. setting
is reached on the BoomBoom 260.
NOTE: ensure the volume setting on your Smartphone is
set at max level for maximum speaker volume.

PAIR /CONNECT with BLUETOOTH
STEP 1. Find & enable the Bluetooth Section on your
Smartphone/Audio Device and select the option to “Search
for a Device” to search for Bluetooth signal.

STEP 2. Press & release Bluetooth PAIRING button on the
BoomBoom 260 top panel & wait approx. 3 seconds for
unit to search for your Smartphone/Audio Device’s
Bluetooth signal.
NOTE:

The blue LED on the top panel will blink quickly & 2
short beep tones will indicate the Bluetooth function has
been selected & awaits pairing.

STEP 3. Find ‘BoomBoom 260’ as a selection on your
Smartphone/Audio Device. Select ‘BoomBoom 260’ in
order to pair with the BoomBoom 260 unit.
NOTE: 2

short, briefly separated beep tones will sound to
indicate successful pairing & the quick flashing blue LED on
the top panel will turn solid blue.

STEP 4. Find your music section on your device, press PLAY
& LISTEN to your music!

ANSWER CALLS

(MUST be paired with Bluetooth)
Press the button to answer incoming calls from your
Smartphone. Listen to the caller over BoomBoom 260
speakers & talk over the built-in Microphone (mic).

MICROPHONE (MIC) &
SPEAKERPHONE SYSTEM

The MIC is located on the bottom front left section of the
front panel & is designed for use with the Bluetooth
speakerphone system. For best results, speak within 45 cm
of the MIC during a call.

CAP, AUX-IN, CHARGING & USB
CONNECTION

USB power & 3.5mm AUX-IN connections are under the
CAP. Remove the CAP to access the connections.
IMPORTANT: IF the CAP is off or not securely closed, the
unit is NOT watertight. In order to ensure the unit is
watertight the back panel CAP MUST be closed securely.
To securely close the back panel CAP, the CAP MUST be
inserted so that the lines on the CAP align with the back
panel lines and the top of the CAP is pushed flush with the
back surface of the unit so that the gray rubber gasket
around the edge of the CAP cannot be seen.

NOTE: A removable LANYARD is included with the
BoomBoom 260 and is intended to assist in avoiding
misplacing the back panel CAP. Attach one end to the
nylon tab on the CAP and the other end to the handle.

AUX-IN

AUX-IN can be used as an optional connection to play an
audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable connection.

CHARGING & USB CONNECTION

x Charge the built-in rechargeable battery using the USB

cord (included) connected to your computer OR
connected to the USB-to-AC power adapter (included)
and a wall power outlet.

x When connected to a power source via the USB

connection on the back panel, the Battery LED on the top
panel

will indicate the power status. IF not connected,

the LED will NOT indicate the power status. A RED LED
indicates charging is in progress. A GREEN LED indicates
the battery is fully charged.

x The Power LED will flash 2 times quickly every 30 seconds

when approx. 30 minutes of playtime remain.
NOTE: BoomBoom 260 can charge while playing audio. Be
sure to plug the USB into the desired power source prior to
playing audio or unit may need to be restarted

CARE, MAINTENANCE &
PRECAUTIONS

1. Although the unit is waterproof when the CAP is
properly closed, the unit is NOT designed for use under
water. Do NOT intentionally submerge the unit
underwater.

2. Close the CAP properly before use, see ‘diagram 2’ for
reference. If the unit is placed in water without the cap
properly closed, water may enter into the unit and void
your warranty.

3. Dry unit completely before opening the cap. Do NOT
open the cap if wet or in a wet environment.

4. Do NOT apply excessive force to any surfaces of the unit
when wet or in a wet environment.

5. Do NOT use or store the unit in places with high
temperature.

6. AVOID direct exposure to sunlight and strong magnetic
fields.

7. Periodically check the rubber seal ring on the cap for
premature wear.

8. Periodically clean the rubber seal ring with a soft moist
cloth and ensure no objects such as dirt, or sand are on the
rubber seal ring. Do NOT use any oily solvent or chemicals
for cleaning.

9. Rinse off the unit with tap water after use in salt water
or swimming pool.

10. Power the unit using the built-in rechargeable battery
for portable use and connect the USB cord to a computer
USB connection or to an AC outlet using the AC-to-USB
cord adapter to charge unit.

11. Noise and audio distortion may occur when the
batteries are nearing end of charge.

12. Do NOT remove the built-in battery. Do NOT remove
the grill cover.

I can’t connect my BoomBoom 260.

Check the following:

1. Ensure that the power adapter is connected and/or

that the battery is fully charged.

2. Ensure that the Bluetooth function on your mobile

telephone is on (check your phone's manual for
reference).

3. Ensure that the distance between your mobile phone

and the BoomBoom 260 is no greater than 10 metres
and that there are no large obstacles in the way.

EINFÜHRUNG

Der Marmitek BoomBoom 260 ist ein spezielles mobiles
Audiosystem, das die Bluetooth Technologie mit einer
Lithium-Ion-Battiere & Wasserdichtheit kombiniert. Das
Ergebnis ist ein stoßfestes, schwimmfähiges, wasserdichtes,
wieder aufladbares und rahtloses Lautsprechersystem mit
gesamter Frequenzbreite. Kann alles: vom Streaming und
Musik abspielen von Ihrem Bluetooth Smartphone oder
Audiogerät aus bis hin zur Beantwortung Ihrer Aufrufe
über den eingebauten Lautsprecher!

EIN/AUS

Drücken Sie die Ein/Austaste 1 Mal kurz und lassen Sie
sie wieder los: warten Sie etwa 3 Sekunden bis 1 kurzer
Ton erklingt. Damit wird angezeigt, dass die Einheit jetzt
EINgeschaltet ist.

AKKU-ANZEIGE

Schließen Sie das USB Kabel an die Speisung an.
LED zeigt den Ladestatus an.

LAUTSPRECHERVOLUMEN

Drücken Sie die[ - ], um die Lautstärke zu drosseln,
drücken Sie die [ + ], um den Ton lauter zu stellen.
BEMERKUNG: 1 kurzer Ton erklingt, wenn die
Höchstlautstärke des BoomBoom260 erreicht ist.
NB: Überprüfen Sie für die maximale
Lautsprecherlautstärke, ob die Volumeneinstellung Ihres
Smartphones auf den Höchstwert eingestellt ist.

PAIREN / VERBINDEN mit BLUETOOTH
SCHRITT 1. Gehen Sie zum Bluetooth-Abschnitt auf Ihrem
Smartphone/Audiogerät und schalten Sie es ein. Wählen
Sie “Ein Gerät suchen“, um das Bluetooth-Signal zu
suchen.
SCHRITT 2. Drücken Sie kurz die Bluetooth PAIRING-Taste
auf dem oberen Bedienelement des BoomBoom 260.
Warten Sie ca. 3 Sekunden, bis das Gerät das Bluetooth
Signal Ihres Smartphones/Audiogerätes gefunden hat.

Die blaue LED im oberen Bedienelement
beginnt schnell zu blinken uns 2 kurze Töne zeigen an,
dass die Bluetooth Funktion aufgerufen wurde und auf

Gespräch mit dem Anrufer über die BoomBoom 260
Lautsprecher und antworten Sie über das eingebaute
Mikrofon (mic).

MIKROFON (MIC) &
SPEAKERPHONESYSTEM

Das MIC befindet sich unten links an der Vorderfront und
wurde für Verwendung mit dem Bluetooth Speakerphone
System entwickelt. Das beste Ergebnis erzielen Sie, wenn
Sie höchstens 45 cm vom Mikrofon entfernt sprechen.

ABDICHTUNG, AUX-IN, AUFLADEN &
USB-ANSCHLUSS

USB Speisung und 3,5 mm AUX EIN Anschlüsse befinden
sich unter der Abdichtung. Entfernen Sie die Abdichtung,
um die Anschlüsse freizulegen.
ACHTUNG: Bei fehlender oder nicht gänzlich
verschlossener Abdichtung ist das Gerät nicht wasserdicht.
Die Abdichtung des hinteren Elements muss gut
verschlossen sein, um die Wasserdichtheit des Geräts zu
gewährleisten. Die Abdichtung muss deshalb so
angebracht werden, dass die Linien auf der Abdichtung
gleich mit den Linien der Rückseite verlaufen. Die
Oberseite der Abdichtung muss gut abschließend in die
Rückseite des Geräts gedrückt werden, der graue
Gummirand der Abdichtung ist dann nicht mehr sichtbar.

BEMERKUNG: Um den Verlust der Abdichtung der
Rückseite zu verhindern wird eine austauschbare
Trageschnur zum BoomBoom 260 geliefert. Befestigen Sie
ein Ende an der Nylonschlaufe der Abdichtung und das
andere am Griff.

AUX INPUT

AUX-In kann als Zusatzanschluss für das Abspielen über ein
Audiogerät mithilfe einer 3,5 mm Audiokabelverbindung
verwendet werden.

AUFLADEN & USB-ANSCHLUSS

x Laden Sie den eingebauten Akku auf, indem Sie das

(enthaltene) USB Kabel an Ihren Rechner ODER an das
(enthaltene) USB zum AC Speisungsadapter und eine
Steckdose anschließen.

x Die Akku LED im oberen Bedienelement

zeigt den
Stromstand an, wenn das Gerät über den USB Anschluss
an der Rückseite an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen ist.
Wenn nicht angeschlossen, zeigt die LED den Stromstand
NICHT an. Eine ROTE LED zeigt an, dass das Gerät
aufgeladen wird. Eine GRÜNE LED zeigt an, dass der
Akku vollständig geladen ist.

x Die Power LED blinkt alle 30 Sekunden 2 mal schnel,

wenn noch ca. 3o Minuten Spielzeit übrig bleiben.

BEMERKUNG: Der BoomBoom 260 kann während der
Audiowiedergabe aufgeladen werden. Sorgen Sie dafür,
dass der USB Stecker an die gewünschte Stromquelle
angeschlossen ist bevor Sie mit der Audiowiedergabe
beginnen, um vorzubeugen, dass das Gerät erneut
hochgefahren werden muss.

PFLEGE, WARTUNG &
VORKEHRUNGEN

1. Das Gerät ist, trotzdem es wasserdicht ist, wenn die
Abdichtung gut verschlossen ist, NICHT für Verwendung
unter Wasser geeignet. Tauchen Sie das Gerät NICHT
absichtlich in Wasser.

2. Schließen Sie die Abdichtung vor Verwendung
sorgfältig. Sehen Sie dazu den Verweis 'Diagramm'. Wenn
das Gerät mit Wasser in Berührung kommt während die
Abdichtung nicht adäquat verschlossen ist, kann Wasser ins
Gerät dringen und entfällt der Garantieanspruch.

3. Trocknen Sie das Gerät gut ab, bevor Sie die Abdichtung
öffnen. Öffnen Sie die Abdichtung NICHT, wenn das Gerät
nass ist oder sich in einer nassen Umgebung befindet.

4. Üben Sie KEINE übermäßige Kraft auf die Oberfläche
des Geräts aus, wenn es nass ist oder sich in einer nassen
Umgebung befindet.

5. Verwenden oder legen Sie das Gerät NICHT an Orte mit
hohen Temperaturen.

6. VERMEIDEN Sie direktes Sonnenlicht und starke
magnetische Felder.

7. Überprüfen Sie die Gummiabdichtung regelmäßig auf
frühzeitige Verschleißerscheinungen.

8. Säubern Sie die Gummiabdichtung regelmäßig mit
einem weichen und feuchten Tuch und achten Sie darauf,
dass sich keine Teilchen wie Schmutz, Haare oder Sand auf
der Gummiabdichtung befinden. Verwenden Sie zur
Reinigung KEINE fettigen Reinigungsmittel oder
Chemikalien.

9. Spülen Sie das Gerät nach Verwendung im Meer oder
Schwimmbad mit Leitungswasser ab.

10. Verwenden Sie den eingebauten Akku während der
mobilen Verwendung als Stromquelle und schließen Sie
das Gerät zum Aufladen mit dem USB Kabel an einen USB
Anschluss des PC oder mithilfe des AC zum USB
Schnuradapters an eine Steckdose an.

11. Interferenz und Verzerrungen treten auf, wenn der
Akku nahezu erschöpft ist.

12. Entfernen Sie den eingebauten Akku NICHT. Entfernen
Sie die Grillklappe NICHT.

Achten Sie auf Nachfolgendes:

1. Überprüfen Sie, ob das Netzteil angeschlossen

2. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Bluetooth Funktion auf Ihrem
Mobiltelefon eingeschaltet ist. (ziehen Sie die
Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Mobiltelefons zurate).

3. Halten Sie einen Abstand von weniger als 10 Metern
zwischen Mobiltelefon und BoomBoom 260 ohne
große, im Weg stehende Hindernisse ein.

INTROUCTION

Le Marmitek BoomBoom 260 est un système audio
portable unique, qui combine la technologie Bluetooth
avec une pile Lithium-Ion et l'étanchéité à l'eau. Le résultat
est un système de haut-parleur sans fil résistant aux chocs,
insubmersible, étanche et rechargeable avec une portée
totale. Peut tout faire ; cela va du streaming et de la
lecture de musique depuis votre Smartphone ou depuis un
appareil audio Bluetooth jusqu'à répondre aux appels
téléphoniques par le biais du haut-parleur intégré !

MARCHE / ARRÊT

Appuyez brièvement 1 fois sur le bouton marche/arrêt
et relâchez-le ; attendez environ 3 secondes jusqu'à ce
qu'un bref signal sonore retentisse. Cela indique que
l'appareil est maintenant ACTIVÉ.

INDICATEUR DE PILE

Raccordez le connecteur USB à la source
d'alimentation.
La LED indique l'état de charge.
ROUGE : chargement en cours
VERT : complètement chargée

VOLUME DU HAUT-PARLEUR

Appuyez sur [ - ] pour diminuer le volume, appuyez
sur [ + ] pour augmenter le volume.
REMARQUE : Un bref signal sonore retentit lorsque le
volume maximum est atteint sur le BoomBoom 260.
NB : Pour un volume maximal du haut-parleur vérifiez si le
réglage du volume sur votre Smartphone est réglé sur le
niveau maximum.

APPAIRAGE / CONNEXION avec BLUETOOTH
ETAPE 1 Allez sur la section Bluetooth de votre
Smartphone/appareil audio et activez-le. Sélectionnez
"Rechercher un appareil" pour rechercher le signal
Bluetooth.
ETAPE 2. Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton d'APPAIRAGE
Bluetooth sur le panneau supérieur du BoomBoom 260.
Attendez environ 3 secondes jusqu'à ce que l'appareil ait
trouvé le signal Bluetooth de de votre
Smartphone/appareil audio.
REMARQUE :

La LED bleue sur le panneau supérieur
clignote rapidement et 2 brefs signaux sonores indiquent
que la fonction Bluetooth est activée et qu'il attend
l'appairage.

FRANÇAIS

ETAPE 3. Trouvez 'BoomBoom 260'" en option sur votre
Smartphone/appareil audio. Sélectionnez 'BoomBoom 260'
pour l'appairer avec le BoomBoom 260.
REMARQUE :

2 brefs signaux sonores retentissent pour
indiquer que l'appairage est terminé avec succès et la LED
bleue qui clignote rapidement sur le panneau supérieur
reste maintenant constamment allumée en bleu.

ETAPE 4. Allez sur la section musique de votre appareil,
appuyez sur LECTURE et ÉCOUTEZ votre musique!

RÉPONDRE À UN APPEL

(DOIT être appairé par le biais de Bluetooth)
Appuyez sur le bouton pour répondre aux appels entrants
depuis votre Smartphone. Écoutez votre correspondant par
le biais des haut-parleurs BoomBoom 260 et parlez dans le
microphone intégré (mic).

MICROPHONE (MIC) & SYSTÈME DE
SPEAKER PHONE

Le MIC est situé en bas à gauche sur la face avant et est
conçu pour être utilisé avec le système de speaker phone
Bluetooth. Pour un résultat optimal parlez à une distance
du microphone maximale de 45 cm.

OPERCULE D'ÉTANCHÉITÉ AUX-IN,
RECHARGE & CONNEXION USB

L'alimentation USB et les prises de connexion AUX IN 3,5
mm sont situées sous l'opercule d'étanchéité. Retirez
l'opercule d'étanchéité pour avoir accès aux prises de
connexion.
IMPORTANT : S'il n'y a pas d'opercule d'étanchéité ou si
celui-ci n'est pas hermétiquement fermé, l'appareil n'est
pas étanche. Afin d'assurer que le dispositif soit étanche,
l'opercule d'étanchéité du panneau arrière doit être
hermétiquement fermé. Pour fermer hermétiquement
l'opercule d'étanchéité du panneau arrière, celui-ci doit
être placé de telle sorte que les lignes sur l'opercule
d'étanchéité soient en alignement avec les lignes du
panneau arrière. La partie supérieure de l'opercule
d'étanchéité doit être bien enfoncée sur la face arrière de
l'appareil de telle sorte que le contour en caoutchouc gris
de l'opercule d'étanchéité ne soit pas visible.

REMARQUE : Le BoomBoom 260 est livré avec un cordon
interchangeable pour éviter de perdre l'opercule
d'étanchéité du panneau arrière. Fixez l'une des extrémités
à la boucle en nylon de l'opercule d'étanchéité et l'autre à
la poignée.

AUX-IN

AUX-IN peut être utilisé en tant que connexion optionnelle
pour la lecture par le biais d'un appareil audio grâce à une
connexion par câble audio de 3,5 mm.

RECHARGE & CONNEXION USB

x Chargez la pile rechargeable intégrée en connectant le

câble USB (fourni) à votre ordinateur OU à l'adaptateur
secteur CA vers USB (fourni) branché sur une prise de
courant.

x Si l'appareil est connecté à une source d'alimentation par

le biais du port USB sur le panneau arrière, la LED de Pile
sur le panneau supérieur indique

le statut
d'alimentation. S'il n'est pas raccordé, la LED N'indique
PAS le statut d'alimentation. Une LED ROUGE indique
que l'appareil est en charge. Une LED VERTE indique que
la pile est complètement chargée.

x La LED d'Alimentation clignote 2 fois rapidement toutes

les 30 secondes lorsqu'il ne reste plus qu'environ 30
minutes de temps d'écoute.

REMARQUE : Le BoomBoom 260 peut être rechargé
pendant la lecture audio . Assurez-vous que la fiche USB
soit dans la source d'alimentation souhaitée avant le début
de la lecture audio, pour éviter d'avoir à réinitialiser
l'appareil.

ENTRETIEN, MAINTENANCE &
MESURES DE PRÉCAUTION

1. Quoique l'appareil soit étanche si l'opercule
d'étanchéité est fermé correctement, il N'est PAS conçu
pour une utilisation sous l'eau. N'immergez PAS
volontairement l'appareil sous l'eau.

2. Refermez correctement l'opercule d'étanchéité, voir le
'graphique' pour référence. Si l'appareil est placé dans
l'eau sans que l'opercule d'étanchéité soit correctement
fermé, l'eau peut pénétrer dans l'appareil et la garantie
n'est plus valable.

3. Essuyez bien l'appareil avant d'ouvrir l'opercule
d'étanchéité. N'ouvrez PAS l'opercule d'étanchéité si
l'appareil est mouillé ou s'il se trouve dans un
environnement humide.

4. Si l'appareil est mouillé ou s'il se trouve dans un
environnement humide, ÉVITER toutes pressions excessives
sur l'une ses surfaces.

5. N'utilisez PAS ou NE gardez PAS l'appareil dans des
endroits avec des températures élevées.

6. Evitez une exposition à la lumière directe du soleil et à
des champs magnétiques puissants.

7. Contrôlez régulièrement les joints d'étanchéité en
caoutchouc de l'opercule d'étanchéité pour détecter une
usure prématurée.

8. Nettoyez régulièrement le joint en caoutchouc avec un
chiffon doux et humide et faites en sorte qu'il n'y ait
aucuns dépôts tels que saleté, cheveux ou sable sur le joint
en caoutchouc. Pour le nettoyage N'utiliser PAS de
produits d'entretien gras ou des produits chimiques.

9. Rincez l'appareil à l'eau claire après utilisation en eau
salée ou en piscine.

10. Utilisez la pile rechargeable intégrée comme source
d'alimentation pendant une utilisation mobile. Pour
recharger l'appareil connectez le câble USB sur un port
USB d'un ordinateur ou branchez l'adaptateur secteur CA
vers USB sur une prise de courant.

11. Un bruit de fond et une distorsion audio se produisent
lorsque les piles sont faibles.

12. NE retirez PAS la pile intégrée. NE retirez PAS la grille­couvercle.

FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS

Contrôlez les points suivants :

INTRODUCCIÓN

El Marmitek BoomBoom 260 es un sistema portátil de
audio único e impermeable que incorpora tecnología
Bluetooth y una batería de Litio Ion. El producto consiste
en un sistema de altavoces portátil con muchas
prestaciones: a prueba de golpes, flotante, y recargable.
Hace de todo: desde streaming y reproducción de música
desde tu Smartphone con Bluetooth o dispositivo de
audio, hasta la posibilidad de atender llamadas telefónicas
a través del altavoz incorporado.

ENCENDER / APAGAR

Pulsa una vez el botón encender/apagar brevemente y
suéltalo. Espera unos 3 segundos hasta que se oiga un
tono. Esto indica que la unidad se ha encendido.

INDICADOR BATERÍA

Conecta el cable USB a la fuente de electricidad.
La luz LED indica el estado de la carga.
ROJO: está cargando
VERDE: completamente cargado.

VOLUMEN DE ALTAVOCES

Pulse [ - ] para bajar el volumen; pulse [ + ] para
subir el volumen.
IMPORTANTE: Suena un breve tono si se alcanza el
volumen máximo del BoomBoom 260.
ADVERTENCIA: Controla el volumen máximo del altavoz si
tu Smartphone tiene el volumen ajustado al máximo.

VINCULAR por BLUETOOTH
PASO 1. Busca la función de Bluetooth en tu Smartphone /
dispositivo de audio y actívalo. Selecciona la opción
”Buscar un dispositivo” para buscar la señal Bluetooth.
PASO 2. Pulsa brevemente el botón Bluetooth PAIRING en
el panel superior del BoomBoom 260. Espera unos 3
segundos hasta que el dispositivo encuentre la señal de
Bluetooth de tu Smartphone / dispositivo de audio.
AVISO: El indicador

LED azul del panel superior
parpadeará rápidamente y se oirán dos tonos breves para
indicar que se ha seleccionado la función de Bluetooth y se
espera la conexión.

PASO 3. Encuentra 'BoomBoom 260' en las opciones
listadas en tu Smartphone / dispositivo de audio.
Selecciona 'BoomBoom 260' para vincular el BoomBoom

260.
AVISO: Si la vinculación se ha realizado correctamente,
suenan 2 tonos breves y el indicador LED azul del panel
superior se mantiene encendido.
PASO 4. Entra en la sección de música de tu dispositivo,
pulsa REPRODUCIR y ¡ESCUCHA tu música!

RESPONDER LLAMADAS

(Tiene que estar vinculado por Bluetooth)
Pulsa el botón de llamadas entrantes desde tu Smartphone
para responder. Escucha al interlocutor por los altavoces
del BoomBoom 260 y habla a través del micrófono
incorporado (mic).

MICRÓFONO (MIC) Y SISTEMA DE
ALTAVOCES DEL TELÉFONO

El MIC se encuentra en la parte inferior a la izquierda y
está diseñado para su uso con el sistema de teléfono /
altavoces a través de Bluetooth. Para obtener mejores
resultados, habla a 45 cm del micrófono.

SELLADO, ENTRADA AUXILIAR,
RECARGA Y CONEXIÓN POR USB

La recarga por USB y las entradas AUN IN de 3,5 mm se
encuentran debajo del sellado. Tienes que quitar el sellado
para acceder a estas entradas.
IMPORTANTE: Si el sellado no está presente o no se ha
cerrado completamente, el dispositivo no será resistente al
agua. Para cerciorarse de que ofrece resistencia al agua, el
cierre del panel trasero tiene que ser hermético. Para
efectuar el cierre hermético del panel trasero, este tiene
que ponerse de tal forma que las líneas del cierre estén
alineadas con las líneas del panel trasero. La parte superior
del cierre tiene que encajar perfectamente con la parte
trasera del dispositivo y apretar bien para que el cierre gris
de caucho del sellado no se vea.

AVISO: Se proporciona con el BoomBoom 260 un cordón
que sirve para que el panel trasero no se pierda. Conecte
un lado del cordón de nilón al cierre y el otro al mango.

ENTRADA AUN-IN

La entrada AUN-IN se utiliza para la conexión adicional de
un dispositivo de audio, con ayuda de un cable audio de
3,5 mm.

RECARGA Y CONEXIÓN USB

x Recarga la batería recargable con el cable USB (que

viene con el equipo) a través del ordenador o a través del
adaptador de corriente, con un enchufe.

x Conectado a una fuente a través de la conexión USB del

panel posterior, el indicador LED de batería del panel
superior

indica el estado de carga. Si no está
conectado, el indicador LED no indica el estado de carga.
Si el indicador LED está en ROJO, indica se está cargando.
Cuando el LED se pone VERDE, indica la carga está
completa.

x El indicador LED de corriente parpadea cada 30

segundos 2 veces rápidamente cuando quedan
aproximadamente 30 minutos de carga de batería para
reproducir.

AVISO: El BoomBoom 260 se puede recargar mientras está
reproduciendo sonido. Compruebe que el enchufe de USB
esté correctamente conectado a la fuente necesaria antes
de que se empiece a reproducir sonido, para evitar que
haya que volver a encender el aparato.

CUIDADO, MANTENIMIENTO Y
PRECAUCIONES

1. Aunque el aparato es impermeable si el cierre se ha
ajustado correctamente, no ha sido diseñado para su uso
debajo del agua. Por lo tanto, no sumerjas el dispositivo en
el agua de forma intencionada.

2. Cierra el aparato adecuadamente, consultando el
diagrama como referencia. Si el dispositivo entra en
contacto con el agua sin que el cierre se haya hecho
correctamente, podría entrar agua y la garantía dejaría de
tener cobertura.

3. Seca el dispositivo completamente antes de abrir el
cierre. No abras el cierre si está húmedo o en el ambiente
hay humedad.

4. Si el dispositivo está húmedo o se encuentra en un
ambiente húmedo, NO apliques fuerza sobre la superficie
del aparato.

5. NUNCA utilices o guardes el dispositivo en lugares con
altas temperaturas.

6. EVITA la exposición directa a la luz solar y a los campos
magnéticos.

7. Comprueba el cierre de caucho con frecuencia por si se
evidencia desgaste o uso excesivo.

8. Limpia el caucho del cierre de vez en cuando con un
trapo suave, húmedo y ten cuidado de que no haya
objetos como suciedad, pelo o arena encima del cierre de
caucho. NUNCA lo limpies con un material graso de
limpieza o productos químicos.

9. Después de usarlo en agua salada o la piscina, limpia el
dispositivo con agua del grifo.

10. Utiliza la batería recargable interna como fuente de
energía cuando uses el dispositivo en movilidad, y conecta
el dispositivo para recargar con el cable USB a un

11. Cuando la batería está casi agotada, se pueden
producir ruidos y distorsión del sonido.

Fíjese en lo siguiente:

1. Asegúrese que el adaptador de red está enchufado
y/o que la pila está cargada.

2. Asegúrese que la función Bluetooth del teléfono
móvil está encendida (vease las instrucciones del

3. Encárgese que la distancia entre el teléfono móvil y el
BoomBoom 260 no está más grande que 10 metros y

INTRODUZIONE

Il BoomBoom 260 di Marmitek è un sistema audio portatile
eccezionale che combina la tecnologia Bluetooth con una
batteria agli ioni di litio & impermeabilità. Il risultato è un
sistema di altoparlanti senza fili di ampia portata antiurto,
impermeabile, ricaricabile, galleggiante. Può fare tutto;
dallo streaming e suonare musica dal vostro smartphone o
apparecchio audio Bluetooth, fino a rispondere le vostre
chiamate tramite un altoparlante integrato!

ACCENSIONE

Premere 1 volta brevemente il tasto di accensione e
lasciarlo; aspettare circa 3 secondi finché suonerà un tono
breve indicando che l’unità è accesa.

INDICATORE BATTERIA

Collegare USB alla fonte di alimentazione.
Il LED indica lo stato di caricamento:
ROSSO: sta caricando
VERDE: caricato completamente.

VOLUME ALTOPARLANTE

Premere [ - ] per abassare il volume, “premere [ + ]
per aumentare il volume.
COMMENTO: suona 1 tono breve in caso il volume
massimo del BoomBoom 260 è stato raggiunto.
NB: per il volume massimo controllare se l’impostazione di
volume sul vostro smartphone sia stata regolata al livello
massimo.

ACCOPPIARE (PAIRING)/COLLEGARE con

BLUETOOTH

PASSO 1. Andare alla sezione Bluetooth dello smartphone/
apparecchio audio e attivarla. Scegliere l’opzione 'Cercare
un apparecchio' per cercare il segnale Bluetooth.
PASSO 2. Premere brevemente il tasto Bluetooth PAIRING
sul pannello superiore del BoomBoom 260. Aspettare circa
3 secondi finché il apparecchio avrà trovato il segnale
Bluetooth dello smartphone/apparecchio audio.
COMMENTO:

il led LBU sul pannello superiore comincia a
lampeggiare velocemente e 2 toni brevi indicano che la
funzione Bluetooth è stata selezionata ed aspetta il
pairing.

PASSO 3. Cercare 'BoomBoom 260' come opzione sullo
smartphone/apparecchio audio. Scegliere 'BoomBoom 260'
per accoppiarlo al BoomBoom 260.
COMMENTO:

suonano 2 toni brevi indicando
l’accoppiamento riuscito, ed il LED blu lampeggiando sul
pannello superiore ora rimane acceso continuamente.

PASSO 4. Andare alla sezione di musica sull’apparecchio,
premere SUONARE ed ascoltare la musica!

RISPONDERE CHIAMATE

(L’unità DEVE essere accoppiata tramite Bluetooth)
Premere il tasto per rispondere le chiamate in entrata dallo
smartphone. Ascoltare il chiamante tramite gli altoparlanti
BoomBoom 260 e parlare via il microfono integrato (mic).

MICROFONO (MIC) & SISTEMA DI
ALTOPARLANTI PER CELLULARE

Il MIC si trova in fondo a sinistra sul pannello anteriore ed
è stato ideato per l’uso con il sistema di altoparlanti per
cellulare Bluetooth. Per il miglior risultato si deve parlare
ad una distanza di 45 centimetri al massimo dal microfono.

DISPOSITIVO DI TENUTA, AUX-IN,
CARICARE & CONNESSIONE USB

L’alimentatore a USB e le connessioni 3,5 mm AUX IN si
trovano sotto il dispositivo di tenuta. Rimuovere il
dispositivo di tenuta per poter accedere alle connessioni.
IMPORTANTE: se manca il dispositivo di tenuta o se non è
stato chiuso completamente, l’apparecchio non è
impermeabile. Per assicurarsi l’impermeabilità
dell’apparecchio, il dispositivo di tenuta del pannello
posteriore deve essere completamente chiuso. Per chiudere
completamente il dispositivo di tenuta del pannello
posteriore , questo va posizionato di modo che le linee sul
dispositivo di tenuta siano allineate con le linee del
pannello posteriore.
La parte superiore del dispositivo di tenuta deve essere
premuta precisamente sul lato posteriore dell’apparecchio,
affinché il bordo di gomma grigio del dispositivo di tenuta
sia invisibile.

COMMENTO: il BoomBoom 260 è fornito con una cinghia
intercambiabile, per prevenire la perdita del dispositivo di
tenuta del pannello posteriore. Fissare una delle estremità
al cappio di nylon del dispositivo di tenuta e l'altra alla
maniglia.

AUX-IN

Si può usare AUX-IN come una connessione opzionale, per
suonare tramite un apparecchio audio con un cavo audio
da 3,5mm.

CARICA & CONNESSIONE USB

x Caricare la batteria ricaricabile collegando il cavo USB

(fornito in dotazione) al vostro computer O all’adattatore
di alimentazione USB-a-c.a. (fornito in dotazione) e una
presa di corrente.

x In caso di collegamento ad una fonte di energia tramite

collegamento USB sul pannello posteriore, il LED Batteria
sul pannello superiore

indica lo stato di energia. Se
non è collegato, il LED NON indica lo stato di energia. Un
LED ROSSO indica che l’apparecchio sta caricando la
batteria. Un LED VERDE indica che la batteria è
completamente carica.

x Il LED Power lampeggia 2 volte ogni 30 secondi quando

rimane circa 30 minuti di tempo di esercizio.

COMMENTO: si può caricare il BoomBoom 260 mentre si
suona l'audio. Assicurarsi che la spina USB si trovi
nell’apposita fonte di energia prima di avviare la
riproduzione audio, in tal modo si previene che
l’apparecchio dovrà essere riacceso.

CURA, MANUTENZIONE & MISURE
PREVENTIVE

1. Benché l’apparecchio sia impermeabile quando il
dispositivo di tenuta è chiuso come si deve, questo NON è
stato ideato per l’uso sotto acqua. NON immergere
intenzionalmente nell’acqua l’apparecchio.

2. Prima dell’uso chiudere come si deve il dispositivo di
tenuta, per riferimento vedere il ‘diagramma’. Se
l’apparecchio si trova nell’acqua senza aver chiuso come si
deve il dispositivo di tenuta, l’acqua può entrare
nell'apparecchio e la vostra garanzia sarà scaduta.

3. Asciugare completamente l’apparecchio prima di aprire
il dispositivo di tenuta. NON aprire il dispositivo di tenuta
se è umido o se si trova in un ambiente umido.

4. Se l’apparecchio è umido o si trova in un ambiente
umido NON esercitare forza eccessiva sulla superficie
dell’apparecchio.

5. NON usare o immagazzinare l’apparecchio in luoghi con
temperature alte.

6. EVITARE l’esposizione diretta alla luce del sole e forti
campi magnetici.

7. Controllare regolarmente l’usura dell’anello in gomma
sul dispositivo di tenuta.

8. Pulire regolarmente l’anello di tenuta in gomma con un
panno morbido, umido ed assicurarsi che non si trovino
degli oggetti nell'anello di tenuta in gomma, come p.e.
sporcizie, capelli o sabbia. Durante la pulitura NON usare
detergenti o sostanze chimiche untuose.

9. Dopo l’uso in acqua salata o a bordo piscina sciacquare
l’apparecchio con acqua del rubinetto.

10. Usare la batteria ricaricabile integrata come fonte di
energia durante l’uso portatile e per caricare l'apparecchio
collegare il cavo USB ad una connessione USB di un

computer o tramite l’adattatore USB-a-c.a. in una presa di
corrente.

11. Si verificano rumori e distorsioni audio quando le
batterie sono quasi scariche.

12. NON rimuovere la batteria integrata. NON rimuovere la
mascherina dell’altoparlante.

Fare attenzione al seguente:
Assicurarsi che l’adattatore di rete sia collegato e/o che la
batteria sia carica.
Assicurarsi che la funzionalità Bluetooth del vostro
cellulare sia attivata. Vedere il manuale del cellulare, come
riferimento.
Assicurarsi che la distanza tra il vostro cellulare e il
BoomBoom 260 non sia superiore di 10 metri e che non ci

De Marmitek BoomBoom 260 is een uniek draagbaar
audiosysteem dat Bluetoothtechnologie combineert met

AAN / UIT

Druk de aan/uit-knop 1 keer kort in en laat weer los;
wacht ca. 3 seconden totdat 1 korte toon klinkt. Dit geeft
aan dat de unit nu AAN staat.

BATTERIJ-INDICATOR

Sluit USB aan op de voedingsbron.
LED geeft de oplaadstatus aan.
ROOD: bezig met laden
GROEN: volledig opgeladen

LUIDSPREKERVOLUME

Druk op [ - ] om volume te verlagen, druk op [ + ]
om volume te verhogen.
OPMERKING: 1 korte toon klinkt als max. volumestand is
bereikt op de BoomBoom 260.
NB: Controleer voor maximaal luidsprekervolume of de
volume-instelling op uw smartphone op maximaal niveau
staat ingesteld.

PAIREN / VERBINDEN met BLUETOOTH
STAP 1. Ga naar de Bluetooth-sectie op uw
smartphone/audioapparaat en schakel deze in. Selecteer
de optie 'Zoeken naar een apparaat' om te zoeken naar
het Bluetooth-signaal.
STAP 2. Druk de Bluetooth PAIRING-knop op het
bovenpaneel van de BoomBoom 260 kort in. Wacht ca. 3
seconden tot het toestel het Bluetooth-signaal van uw
smartphone/audioapparaat heeft gevonden.
OPMERKING:

Het blauwe LED op het bovenpaneel gaat
snel knipperen en 2 korte tonen geven aan dat de
Bluetooth-functie is geselecteerd en op pairing wacht.

om deze te pairen met de BoomBoom 260.

MICROFOON (MIC) &
SPEAKERPHONESYSTEEM

De MIC bevindt zich linksonder op het voorpaneel en is
ontworpen voor gebruik met het Bluetooth
speakerphonesysteem. Spreek voor de beste resultaten op
maximaal 45 cm afstand van de microfoon.

AFDICHTING, AUX-IN, OPLADEN &
USB-AANSLUITING

USB-voeding en 3,5 mm AUX IN-aansluitingen bevinden
zich onder de afdichting. Verwijder de afdichting om
toegang te krijgen tot de aansluitingen.
BELANGRIJK: Als de afdichting ontbreekt of niet volledig
afgesloten is, is het apparaat niet waterdicht. Om ervoor
te zorgen dat het apparaat waterdicht is, dient de
afdichting van het achterpaneel volledig afgesloten te zijn.
Om de afdichting van het achterpaneel volledig af te
sluiten, moet deze zodanig worden geplaatst dat de lijnen
op de afdichting zijn opgelijnd met de lijnen van het
achterpaneel. De bovenkant van de afdichting moet exact
aansluitend op de achterkant van het apparaat worden
gedrukt, zodat de grijze rubberen rand van de afdichting
niet zichtbaar is.

OPMERKING: Bij de BoomBoom 260 wordt een
verwisselbaar draagkoord meegeleverd, bedoeld om
verlies van de afdichting van het achterpaneel te
voorkomen. Bevestig één uiteinde aan het nylon lusje van
de afdichting en het andere aan de greep.

AUX-IN

AUX-IN is te gebruiken als optionele aansluiting voor
afspelen via een audioapparaat met behulp van een
3,5mm audiokabelverbinding.

OPLADEN & USB-AANSLUITING

x Laad de ingebouwde oplaadbare batterij op door de

(meegeleverde) USB-kabel aan te sluiten op uw computer
OF op de (meegeleverde) USB-naar-AC voedingsadapter
en een stopcontact.

x Bij aansluiting op een stroombron via de USB-aansluiting

op het achterpaneel, geeft de Batterij LED op het
bovenpaneel

de stroomstatus aan. Indien niet
aangesloten, geeft de LED de stroomstatus NIET aan. Een
RODE LED geeft aan dat het toestel wordt opgeladen.

Een GROENE LED geeft aan dat de batterij volledig is
opgeladen.

x De Power LED knippert elke 30 seconden 2 keer snel

wanneer ca. 30 minuten speeltijd resteert.

OPMERKING: De BoomBoom 260 kan worden opgeladen
tijdens het afspelen van audio. Zorg dat de USB-stekker in
de gewenste stroombron zit voordat de audioweergave
start, om te voorkomen dat het apparaat opnieuw moet
worden opgestart.

ZORG, ONDERHOUD &
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN

1. Hoewel het apparaat waterdicht is als de afdichting
naar behoren is afgesloten, is deze NIET ontworpen voor
gebruik onder water. Dompel het apparaat NIET
opzettelijk onder in water.

2. Sluit de afdichting vóór gebruik naar behoren af, zie
'diagram' ter referentie. Als het apparaat in water wordt
geplaatst zonder dat de afdichting naar behoren is
afgesloten, kan er water in het toestel komen en is uw
garantie niet langer geldig.

3. Droog het toestel volledig alvorens de afdichting te
openen. Open de afdichting NIET indien nat of in een
natte omgeving.

4. Oefen indien nat of in een natte omgeving GEEN
buitensporige kracht uit op een oppervlak van het toestel.

5. Gebruik of bewaar het apparaat NIET op plaatsen met
hoge temperatuur.

6. VERMIJD directe blootstelling aan zonlicht en sterke
magnetische velden.

7. Controleer de rubberen afdichtring op de afdichting
regelmatig op vroegtijdige slijtage.

8. Maak de rubberen afdichtring regelmatig schoon met
een zachte, vochtige doek en zorg ervoor dat zich geen
objecten zoals vuil, haar of zand op de rubberen
afdichtring bevinden. Gebruik bij reiniging GEEN vettig
schoonmaakmiddel of chemische stoffen.

9. Spoel het toestel na gebruik in zout water of zwembad
af met kraanwater.

10. Gebruik de ingebouwde oplaadbare batterij als
stroombron tijdens mobiel gebruik en sluit om het
apparaat op te laden de USB-kabel aan op een USB­aansluiting van een computer of met behulp van de AC­naar-USB snoeradapter op een stopcontact.

11. Ruis en audiovervorming treden op als de batterijen
bijna leeg zijn.

12. Verwijder de ingebouwde batterij NIET. Verwijder de
grillklep NIET.

VEEL GESTELDE VRAGEN

Ik kan mijn BoomBoom 260 niet koppelen.

Let u eens op het volgende:

1. Verzeker u er van dat de netadapter is aangesloten
en/of dat de batterij is opgeladen.

2. Verzeker u er van dat de Bluetooth-functie op uw
mobiele telefoon aan staat. (Bekijk de handleiding
van uw mobiele telefoon ter referentie).

3. Zorg er voor dat de afstand tussen uw mobiele
telefoon en de BoomBoom 260 niet groter is dan 10
meter en er geen grote obstakels tussen staan.
