MULTI-CHANNEL AV PRE-AMPLIFIER

The 7.2 channel AV7005 gives you superb audio quality thanks partially to Marantz-own HDAM modules and renown
Marant z design. The audio signal is passed to the XLR outputs and the separate power amp. In addition, all audio
signals enter the DSP in a variety of ways to ensure that all channels are kept completely separate, thus eliminating
interfering ‘channel crosstalk’. For example, you can route the audio signal via the network jack for streaming music
from your PC or Inter ne t r adio. Alternatively, you c an rout e i t via one of t he six HDMI 1.4a input s, one of which is
hidden behind the front flap for easy access. Here you can also find the iPod-digital-compatible USB input and a

second double line display, which c omplement s the famous ele gant cir cular display with more detailed information.
The AV7005 also takes supreme care of 3D video signals, even in stand-by mode, and sends them to the two HDMI

1.4a output sockets. And there is even a Phono MM input – ideal for those precious vinyls. It supports all the latest
sound formats including Audyssey DSX by using the Sharc 32 Bit signal processor from Analog Devices, also for
handling the MultEQ XT auto calibration. It’s all there, just waiting to perform.

8-CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER

At t he he ar t of this amplifier is a massive high-current, au diophile-grade, oversized Toroidal po wer transformer.
It easily delivers more than 140 W to each of the eight channels, and in addition to its sheer power, it incorporates
highgr ade audio components throughout, extensive shielding of key component s, and ul tr a-wide bandwidth Current
Feedback technology. The amplification system was originally developed to handle Super Audio CD signals, so it’s
ideal for the new DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD formats. The chassis is completely copper-plated to
deliver p er fect grounding, and t o eliminate EMI. The result is an amazingly accurate tonal and image balance, allied
to speed and dynamics with very low distortion.

The new MM7055 is the five-channel option in this year’s ex tended line-up o f m ain ampli fiers. Based on the
techn ology used in the MM80 03 and using the exact same chassis, i t deli vers a thumping 140 W R MS into 8 Ohms
to each of the channels, while the ultra-wide bandwidth current feedback technology easily handles the highes t
SACD frequencies – this also makes it ideal for the high definition DTS Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD formats too.

The MM7025 is this year’s ideal two-channel main amplifier with a whopping 140 W RMS into 8 Ohms per channel.
Use it in an AV setup to give your front channels an earth-moving boost or simply to make a sensational upgrade to
an existing stereo system. Because the technology is the same as that in the MM7055 and MM8003, using them in
combination is fast, ef ficient and f riendly. It’s a great flex ible customis ation enabler. And, as with the big brother

The new SR7005 AV Receiver with 7 x 125 W into 8 Ohms keeps cross channel contamination to an absolute
minimum for ultra-precise signal processing. The ‘muscle’ power of the system comes from the current feedback
circui tr y wit h Mar antz HDAMs and an oversized low impe dance transformer for rapid current supply. N ot ev en
extreme demands f or po wer w ill pull t he SR7005 of f balance. The ‘brain’ of the system is the la te st 400 MHz Sharc
DSP, which e asily handles HD audio de co ding including the Aud yssey DSX and the Mul tEQ X T room calibr ation. The
sourc e signal can b e either digital or analogue, and it can also be from a wide varie ty of inputs. Firstly, there are six
HDMI 1.4a inputs – one of which is hidden behind the front flap fo r e as y access. For new media ther e is a
iPod-digital-comp at ible USB input, while the RJ45 Net work jack provides connection to vTuner Internet radio and

music services such as Nap ster and last.fm. You can even ac cess your music library stored on c omputer (see th e

graphic on page 11). Classical analogue signals will come from the built-in FM tuner or via either the analogue input

jacks or the P hono equalize r: which is ideal for vinyls. Video signals are also treated w it h loving care by ABT2015

video processing, a host of video adjustment possibilities and t wo HDMI 1.4a outputs supporting 3D video. It’s all
there, eager to please.

e latest version of the HDMI standard (1.4a) is also at work in this year’s collection of Marantz AV
Receivers*– to ensure that both movie lovers and gamers are completely future-proofed with spectacular

The new SR6005 is powerful … very power ful – 7 x 110 W RMS to be exact. Combined with high-quality audio

into the heart of the action. That’s because the digital audio signal – up to Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD – is fed via

The moment that the Blu-ray standard became fully specified was also the moment for Marantz to give the green

light to its engineers to create the ultimate-quality Blu-ray and SACD player! The result is the flagship UD 9004: a

Reference st andard Blu-r ay Player. T he UD 9004 incorporates Silicon’s Realta Optix HQV 10-bit processing
technology, derived from professional broadcast systems, with no less than 10 technologies for a breathtaking
picture from both DVD and Blu-ray. It also has a whole host of state-of-the-art features to reproduce exeptional
qualit y audio – as you would expec t from a Marantz player. It includes a heavy multi-layer cop per-plat ed chassis, as
