If you require technical support or in the unlikely event that your purchase is faulty please telephone our After Sales Support for immediate assistance. Faulty product claims made within the 2-year warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge provided that you have satisfactory proof of purchase (keep your receipt). This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not affected. This limited warranty does not apply in cases of damage caused by accident, improper use, abuse or force majeure.

If the appliance has to be returned to us, it must be packed correctly as we cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused in transit.

Polarized Plug
The electric skillet has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fi t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fi t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fi t, contact a qualifi ed electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug in any way. If the plug fi ts loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm, DO NOT use that outlet.

Electric Power
If an electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, the electric skillet may not operate properly. The appliance should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
operating appliances.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Safety Warning
Although the appliance is easy to operate, the warnings below must be followed for your safety:
DO NOT place the appliance near a heat source.
DO NOT use the appliance on an unstable surface.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:
1. Please read and save these instructions before using the electric skillet.
2. Close supervision is necessary when the electric skillet is used near children or incapacitated persons.
3. Keep the electric skillet out of the reach of children and pets. The electric skillet is not intended for use by children or incapacitated persons.
4. DO NOT place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in or near a heated oven.
5. Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with any hot surfaces (e.g. stovetops).
6. DO NOT touch hot surfaces; always use the handles or knobs with a dishcloth or oven mitts.
7. For household use only; DO NOT use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
8. Before using for the fi rst time, check if the voltage indicator on the base of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your home.
9. Find a stable and level area when using the electric skillet.
10. DO NOT turn the power ON unless the electric skillet is properly assembled.
11. While in use, leave about 6-8 inches of open space all around the exterior of the electric skillet.
12. DO NOT touch the electric skillet or the plug with wet hands.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
14. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fi re, electric shock or injury.
15. Always ensure the electric skillet is unplugged from the electrical outlet and that all parts are stopped before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.
16. The temperature control probe must be attached to the electric skillet before plugging the cord into the electrical outlet.
17. To disconnect the electric skillet, turn the temperature control OFF before unplugging the cord from the electrical outlet.
18. Unplug the electric skillet from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the electric skillet.

19. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
20. Never move the electric skillet by pulling on the cord. DO NOT put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the electric skillet, as the power cord could fray and break. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
21. DO NOT place or immerse the power cord, plug, or any electrical parts of this product in water or any other liquids.
22. DO NOT use the electric skillet with a damaged electrical outlet.
23. DO NOT leave the electric skillet unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use.
24. DO NOT operate the electric skillet if it has a damaged or cut power cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the electrical parts are exposed to water.
25. The electric skillet has no user-serviceable parts. DO NOT attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualifi ed service personnel should perform any servicing.
26. Return the electric skillet to an authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment.
27. DO NOT use the electric skillet in ways other than its intended use.
28. DO NOT immerse the electric skillet in water or other liquids.
29. The electric skillet is not intended for deep frying foods.

Lid Assembly
CAUTION: Over-tightening the screw may result in stripping the screw or cracking the lid and/or lid handle.
1. Place the base plate and the lid handle over the center of the lid on the raised exterior side and align the holes.
2. Attach the rubber washer on the screw.
3. Insert the screw through the center of the lid on the caved interior side.
4. Tighten the screw securely.

Insert the probe into the electric skillet so the two terminal pins on the skillet are fully inserted into the respective slots of the temperature control probe.

WARNING: Before using for the fi rst time, make sure the temperature control probe is removed and the skillet is wiped with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the temperature control probe or the skillet in water or any other liquid.
CAUTION: Be cautious when removing the temperature control probe from the skillet. The electric skillet may stay warm for awhile after it is turned off.
NOTE: When moving the electric skillet, always use the handles.
NOTE: To preserve the non-stick coating, apply a light coating of cooking oil over the electric
skillet surface.
1. Place the electric skillet on a dry, level and heat-resistant surface.
2. Insert the temperature control probe into the electric skillet so the two terminal pins on the skillet are fully inserted into the respective slots of the temperature control probe.
3. Plug the power supply cord into the electrical outlet.
4. Remove the lid and preheat the electric skillet. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired temperature. The indicator light turns OFF when the selected temperature is reached.
5. Cook the desired food in the electric skillet.
6. During cooking, the indicator light will turn ON and OFF, indicating that the desired temperature is being maintained.
7. Turn the temperature control OFF when cooking is complete. Unplug the temperature control probe from the electrical outlet fi rst, then from the electric skillet.

Warranty

Limited Warranty
MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new 12 Inch Electric Skillet to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the company’s option) for any part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of two years after the date of purchase. A copy of the dated sales receipt/invoice is required to receive warranty service, replacement or refund.
This warranty covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii. The warranty does not cover the following:
Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation.
Damages due to misuse or abuse.
Content losses due to failure of the unit.
Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents.
Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instruction on proper use of the product or improper installation.
Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
Failure of this product if used in ways other than its intended purpose.
Disposal costs of failed units not returned to our factory.
Any delivery or installation costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specifi ed.
Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote area where service by an authorized service technician is not available.
The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions.
Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales receipt.
Limitations of Remedies and Exclusions
Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Any and all implied warranties including merchantability and fi tness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequential damages and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.
Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied warranties. This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
