2. MUSIC VOLUME: For adjusting the volume of the music
3. BASS, MID and TREBLE Use these to boost or cut the frequency of the music.
4. INPUT SELECTION: Press to select the input source (AV1/AV2/SPDIF/USB).
5. KEY CONTROL: For setting the key of the music:
Press button to decrease key by one semitone. Press button to reset key back to normal. Press button to increase key by one semitone.

6. MIC VOL, BASS, MID, TREBLE and EFFECT: For adjusting the mic volume, effect volume
and to boost or cut the frequency of the microphone.
7. EFFECT DELAY, TONE / REPEAT and TYPE: For adjusting the delay, tone (for effect types
1-5), repeat (for effect types 6-7) and the type* of the effect for the microphones. *Effect types listed on page 14
8. MICROPHONE INPUT (1/4" jack) : Insert the microphone cable to these inputs.

1. BALANCED MIC INPUTS (XLR): Use these inputs with balanced XLR microphone cables.
2. OPTICAL IN/OUT (S/PDIF): For connecting digitally to/from TV/computer with Toslink cable.
3. USB (TYPE B) IN/OUT: For connecting to the computer to use as an audio interface for
recording or audio mixing. Computer with USB interface required.
4. AV INPUTS: For connecting audio source ie. DVD, PC, MP3, CD via RCA cable connection.
5. AV OUTPUTS: For connecting to TV or active speakers via RCA cable connection.
6. SUBWOOFER OUT: For connecting active subwoofer using RCA cable.
7. MAIN SPEAKER TERMINAL: For connecting passive speakers. (Min. impedance 4 Ω).
8. POWER INPUT: Insert the power cable here.
9. VOLTAGE SELECTOR: For selecting AC voltage (230 V / 115 V).

Getting Connected: Connection Examples
Before connecting speakers, make sure that power is turned OFF from the mixer and other devices (TV, active speakers...). For connecting BOOST-202 to speakers, speaker cable is needed.
Connecting speaker
1. Connect the speaker to speaker terminal of the unit with identical impedance.

Notice! Amplifier is protected against short-circuit,
overheating and overload due to too low impedance. All Key Control LE Ds are blinking when the Protect Mode is O N. Amplifier is automatically recovered after the fault situation.

Getting Connected: Basic Connection Examples
Before making any connections turn the power off from all devices.
The analog connection can be made according to the Basic Connection Example using RCA cable. Cables are color-coded (white, red, yellow) to make the installation easier.
The digital connection can be made using optical Toslink cable (Fig. 1). Notice that an audio source must be set to output audio in PCM format.
BOOST-202 can be connected to the computer using USB cable. USB Type A - USB Type B cable* is needed to make the installation. The computer can be set up as an audio source and recorder.
The microphones can be connected to the front panel using balanced or unbalanced 1/4" microphone plug cable (Fig. 2) or to the back panel using balanced XLR cable (Fig. 3).

Setting up a computer as an audio source and a recorder when using USB audio interface
Connecting the BOOST-202 to the computer with Windows operating system:
Connect the BOOST-202 to the computer with USB cable. Drivers are installed automatically when the device is connected first time with the computer. Wait until the setup is completed.
You can set the BOOST-202 as the default playback device from the Windows Sound Setting’s playback options.
Set the BOOST-202 as the default recording device from the Recording options.
Connecting the BOOST-202 to the computer with macOS operating system:
Connect the BOOST-202 to the computer with USB cable. Drivers are automatically installed when connecting first time with macOS equipped computer. Wait until the setup is complete.
You can set the BOOST-202 as the default playback and recording device from macOS audio setup System Settings Sound Audio out/Audio in BOOST-202.
