INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the included 2 AA batteries by removing the 4 screws located at the back of the
transmitter. The LED on the transmitter will flash every 6 seconds. Do not close the
battery compartment yet.
2. Remove the top cover of the thermostat and plug the receiver into the white connector
located to the bottom left under the touch screen. (A)
3. Place the antenna wire into the 4th vent as shown (B).
Clip the receiver into the 1st vent (C).
4. Press the “RESET” button (D) on the receiver module for 10 seconds to activate the
transmitter and receiver. The outdoor temperature will appear on your thermostat within
5 minutes. Make sure that the dot to the left of the outdoor temperature (E) flashes
approximately every 15 seconds. If after 5 minutes the outdoor temperature is not
displayed on the thermostat or if the dot to the left of the outdoor temperature (E) is not
flashing, unplug the receiver module from the thermostat, remove batteries from the
transmitter and start the installation procedure again.
5. Close the battery compartment and position the transmitter in a permanent location that
is sheltered from the elements. After placing the transmitter in a permanent location,
ensure that the dot to the left of the temperature (E) flashes approximately every 15
seconds. If the dot to the left of the temperature (E) is not flashing, change the
transmitter location.
6. Use the chart below as a reference for the recommended humidity settings.
WARNING: Adjusting the humidity control higher than the recommended setting may cause
