Before you begin, make sure that the time on the LUXPRO®thermostat is set. If not, set the time before starting the installation.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the included 2 AA batteries by removing the 4 screws located at the back of the
transmitter. The LED on the transmitter will flash every 6 seconds. Do not close the
battery compartment yet.

3. Place the antenna wire into the 4th vent as shown (B). Clip the receiver into the 1st vent (C).
4. Press the “RESET” button (D) on the receiver module for 10 seconds to activate the transmitter and receiver. The outdoor temperature will appear on your thermostat within 5 minutes. Make sure that the dot to the left of the outdoor temperature (E) flashes approximately every 15 seconds. If after 5 minutes the outdoor temperature is not displayed on the thermostat or if the dot to the left of the outdoor temperature (E) is not flashing, unplug the receiver module from the thermostat, remove batteries from the transmitter and start the installation procedure again.
5. Close the battery compartment and position the transmitter in a permanent location that is sheltered from the elements. After placing the transmitter in a permanent location, ensure that the dot to the left of the temperature (E) flashes approximately every 15 seconds. If the dot to the left of the temperature (E) is not flashing, change the transmitter location.
6. Use the chart below as a reference for the recommended humidity settings.
WARNING: Adjusting the humidity control higher than the recommended setting may cause condensation, resulting in possible damage to the home.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
Customer must contact and return product to a local LUX Products Corporation product dealer or installer within the applicable warranty period to obtain warranty service. Dated proof of original purchase will be required.
HARDWARE:
LUX Products Corporation warrants the original end user (“Customer”) that new LUXPRO
®
branded products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use, for three (3) years from the original purchase date.
SOFTWARE:
LUX Products Corporation warrants to Customer that the LUXPRO®thermostat software will perform in substantial conformance to its program specifications a period of three (3) years from the date of the original purchase.
EXCLUSIONS:
This warranty excludes (1) physical damage to the surface of the product, including cracks or scratches on the touch-screen or outside casing; (2) damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized attempts to open, repair, or modify the product, or any other cause beyond the range of intended use; damage caused by accident, fire, power changes, other hazard, or Acts of God; (4) use of the product with any device if such device causes the problem.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES:
Should a covered defect occur during the warranty period and Customer notifies LUX Products Corporation, Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy will be, at LUX Products Corporation’s sole option and expense, to repair or replace the product. Replacement products or parts may be new or reconditioned or a comparable version of the defective item. LUX Products Corporation warrants any replaced product or part for a period of ninety (90) days from shipment, or through the end the original warranty, whichever is longer.

THE FORGOING WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, CORRESPONDENCE WITH DESCRIPTION, AND NON INFRINGEMENT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY LUX PRODUCTS CORPORATION AND ITS SUPPLIERS.
