DESCRIPTION

Model AP-12CS is a 12 zone alarming base station.
The alarm is initiated by a switch closure from a
LOUROE Remote Call Station, or other alarming
devices such as a motion detector, door strike, etc.

When the AP-12CS is activated by a remote push­button or other device, an LED is lighted, identifying
the zone in alarm. In addition, a built-in Sonalert
produces a 3 second beep to draw the operator's
attention. Each zone has a NO/NC dry contact for
activating a camera, etc. Zone activation can be
canceled by automatic or manual reset. The
AP-12CS is compatible only with LOUROE Call
Stations for the following applications:

Zone Activation only - no audio

communications:

Use Model DCS-12V Call Station or other
alarming devices (motion detector, etc.)

Zone Activation with one-way audio:

Use Model DCSM-12V Call Station

Zone Activation with bi-directional audio:

Use Models TLMC-12V, TLSP-PBV,
RCS-1-12V, RCS-2-12V or RCS-6-12V

WIRING REQUIREMENTS

Pushbutton activation with two-way communication

6 conductor cable consisting of:

3 conductor shielded, 22 gauge
3 conductor unshielded, 18 gauge
West Penn 2018 or equivalent

IMPORTANT NOTICE

When this equipment is used as part of an audio
monitoring system, the law requires that the public
be given notice of AUDIO MONITORING ON THE
PREMISES. A decal notice is included with each
microphone shipped.
