The UA0227 5 Ports Aluminum USB 3.0 Hub is convenient for desktop use and
adds up to 5 peripherals quickly and easily.
As data sizes and rates keep increasing, the USB 2.0 specification is now started to
feel slow especially for storage compared to the eSATA interface. USB 3.0, known
as 'SuperSpeed USB', has transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, which is 10 times
faster than USB2.0 (480 Mbit/s). USB 3.0 significantly reduces the time required
for data transmission, reduces power consumption, and is backwards compatible
with USB 2.0.
Included an external power supply makes it especially great for notebooks which
