WARNHINWEISE

• Solange der Livington Arctic Air mit Wasser
befüllt ist, tragen Sie ihn nicht herum. Es kann
noch etwas Wasser im Gerät sein, wenn der
Tank schon leer ist.

• Nur sauberes Wasser verwenden. Bei stark
verkalktem Wasser destilliertes Wasser
verwenden.

• Bitte die Empfehlungen im Abschnitt „Wartung“
dieser Anleitung lesen und befolgen.

• Der Livington Arctic Air funktioniert am
besten in sauberen Bereichen. Große Staub-/
Schmutzpartikel können die Lebensdauer des
Geräts beeinträchtigen.

• Wir empfehlen den Einsatz nur in trockenen
Bereichen. Bei Verwendung in feuchter
Umgebung achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser
auf das Gehäuse des Produkts gelangt.

• Gelangt Wasser auf das Produkt, den Livington
Arctic Air von der Stomversorgung trennen und
24 Stunden trocknen lassen. Dann wieder wie
gewohnt verwenden.

• Nicht über längere Zeit direktem Sonnenlicht
aussetzen.

• Planen Sie den Livington Arctic Air länger

nicht zu verwenden, leeren Sie den
Wassertank, schalten Sie das Gerät ein und
lassen Sie es mind. 4 Stunden bei höchster
Stufe laufen. Dadurch trocknen die Filter

und das Innere des Geräts.

• Nur den Original-Adapter und das Original­Kabel (mitgeliefert) verwenden.

• Stromanschluss oder Kabel nicht mit nassen
Händen anfassen.

• Zum Reinigen, Entfernen/Auswech-seln des
Filters oder Herumtragen des Geräts den
Livington Arctic Air von der Stomversorgung
trennen.

• Den Livington Arctic Air am besten auf eine
erhöhte Fläche stellen, etwa einen Tisch oder
eine Anrichte.

• Den Livington Arctic Air nicht neben ein
Heizgerät stellen.

• Das Gerät nicht in Durchgangsbereiche stellen,
sodass man darüber stolpern oder es umwerfen
könnte.

• Im Livington Arctic Air dürfen sich keinerlei
Fremdkörper befinden.

• Keine Gegenstände auf den Livington Arctic Air
stellen.

• Die Auslässe an der Vorder- und Rückseite des
Geräts nicht verstopfen.

• Das Gerät nicht kopfüber aufstellen.

• Den Livington Arctic Air nicht in Wasser oder
sonstige Flüssigkeiten tauchen.

• Den Livington Arctic Air nicht neben offenem
Feuer oder Feuerquellen aufstellen.

• Dieses Gerät können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
sowie von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt

oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht
durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn,
sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.
Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und
der Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten. Äußerste
Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn ein Klimagerät in der
Nähe von Kindern verwendet wird und wenn man
es unbeaufsichtigt laufen lässt.

• Das Gerät kann nur durch Trennen der
Stromzufuhr vollständig ausgeschaltet werden.

• Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Verantwortung
für Schäden, die infolge der Nichtbefolgung
dieser Anleitungen entstehen.

• Ein austauschbarer Wasserfilter ist eigens
für dieses Produkt konzipiert. Ist der Filter
zerbrochen oder beschädigt, können Sie ein
Ersatzteil kaufen. Hierfür kontaktieren Sie bitte
unseren Kundendienst. Die Kontakt-aten finden
Sie auf der letzten Seite der Gebrauchsanleitung.

• Wenn das mitgelieferte Kabel nicht
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, wenden Sie sich
bitte an den Kundendienst um Gefahren zu
vermeiden.

• Wenn Sie die Abdeckung zum Wechseln des
Filters entfernen, schaltet sich der Ventilator aus
und der Wassertank beginnt rot
zu blinken bis die Abdeckung wieder eingesetzt
wird. Dies ist eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung.

TIPPS:

• Den Livington Arctic Air auf eine erhöhte Fläche
stellen, etwa auf einen Esstisch, Schreibtisch
oder eine Anrichte.

• Nach dem Auffüllen des Wassertanks und vor
Gebrauch den Filter mind. 3 Minuten Wasser
aufnehmen lassen. So sorgen Sie rascher für
kühle Luft.

• Den besten Effekt spüren Sie, wenn Sie direkt vor
dem Livington Arctic Air sitzen.

• Mit einer Füllung läuft der Livington Arctic Air,
auf niedrigster Stufe, rund 8 Stunden. Auch wenn
der Wassertank schon leer ist, bleibt der Filter
feucht und der Livington Arctic Air kühlt weiter.

• Je kälter das verwendete Wasser, umso kühler
ist der Effekt. Sie können daher auch Eiswasser
oder Wasser mit Eiswürfel verwenden.

• Nach längerem Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes, kann
der Filter leicht riechen. Dies ist völlig normal
und vergeht nach kurzem Gebrauch mit Wasser
wieder.

EINRICHTEN:

1. Den Livington Arctic Air auf eine ebene
Unterlage stellen (siehe Abb. 1).

2. Wasser tank öffnen und befüllen (siehe Abb.

2). Wir empfehlen dafür einen Krug oder
Messbecher.

3. Das breitere Kabelende in das Netzteil
stecken und das Netzteil an eine Steckdose
anschließen. Dann das schmälere Kabelende
in die Anschlussbuchse an der Rückseite des
Livington Arctic Air stecken (siehe Abb. 3).
ANM.: Sie können das breitere USB-Ende auch
an einen Computer anschließen. Nur den vom
Hersteller gelieferten Adapter verwenden.

GEBRAUCH:

1. Zum Einschalten des Livington Arctic Air den

Ein-/Ausschalter betätigen (siehe Abb. 4).

2. Geschwindigkeit des Ventilators durch
Betätigen des Schalters einstellen. Sie
haben die Wahl zwischen den Modi LO,
MED und HI (Niedrig, Mittel und Hoch). Die
Anzeigeleuchten neben dem Schalter zeigen
Ihnen, bei welcher Geschwindigkeit der
Livington Arctic Air aktuell läuft (siehe Abb. 5).

3. Lichtfarbe durch Betätigen des
Schalters wählen. Sie haben die Wahl
zwischen konstanten Farben oder einem
Farbenwechsel-Modus (siehe Abb. 6).
FARBABFOLGE: Blau, Rot, Weiß, Blaugrün,
Violett, Gelb, Grün
Klicken Sie alle Farben einmal durch um
zu dem Farbwechsel-Modus zu gelangen.
Klicken Sie erneut um die Farbe komplett
auszuschalten.

4. Zum Ausschalten drücken Sie wieder auf den
Ein-/Ausschalter.
ANM.: Planen Sie den Arctic Air für längere
Zeit nicht zu verwenden, lassen Sie das Gerät
mit leerem Wassertank mind. 5 Minuten
im höchsten Modus laufen, damit der Filter
trocknen kann.

Um die Filter zu bestellen, kontaktieren Sie bitte
unseren Kundendienst. Die Kontaktdaten finden
Sie auf der letzten Seite der Gebrauchsanleitung.

1. Den Livington Arctic Air von der
Stomversorgung trennen.

2. Die Entriegelung unten am vorderen
Luftauslass leicht eindrücken und den
Luftauslass nach unten, vom Gerät, weg
ziehen. Zur Seite legen (siehe Abb. 7).

3. Filter vorsichtig komplett aus dem
Gerät ziehen (siehe Abb. 8).

4. Neuen Filter in den Livington Arctic Air
einlegen, dabei den Markierungen am Filter
folgen (siehe Abb. 9).

5. Den oberen Zapfen des vorderen
Luftauslasses in die Öffnung stecken und die
Verriegelung wieder richtig einrasten (siehe
Abb. 10).

NIEDRIGER WASSERSTAND: Ist der Wasserstand
niedrig, blinkt der Behälter alle 60 Sekunden
dreimal in der Farbe GELB. Wird der Tank wieder
angefüllt, leuchtet auch das Licht wieder normal.

WARTUNG:

Trennen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen von der
Stromzufuhr. Wir empfehlen den Wassertank und
das Gerät einmal pro Woche innen zu reinigen.
Verwenden Sie ein nicht scheuerndes Tuch
und ggf. ein mildes Spülmittel. Um die besten
Resultate zu erreichen, empfehlen wir, den Filter
alle 6 Monate auszuwechseln.

FILTER AUSWECHSELN:

Der Wasserfilter sollte alle 6 Monate
ausgewechselt werden bzw. dann, wenn Sie den
Eindruck haben, dass Ihr L ivington Arctic Air nicht
mehr so funktioniert, wie er sollte. Der Wassertank
leuchtet in GELB, bis wieder ein Filter eingesetzt
ist. Dazu den Geschwindigkeitsregler für den
Ventilator und Lichtschalter 3 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, bis der Tank nicht mehr GELB leuchtet.

SAFETY INFORMATION

• As long as the Livington Arctic Air is filled with
water, do not carry it around. There may still be
some water in the appliance when the tank is
already empty.

• Only use clean water. For intensely calcified
water, use distilled water.

• Please read and follow the recommendations in
the “maintenance” section of this manual.

• The Livington Arctic Air functions best in clean
areas. Large dust/dirt particles can impair the
lifescircle of the appliance.

• We recommend use in dry areas only. When
using in damp surroundings, make sure that no
water gets onto the housing of the product.

• If water get onto the product, disconnect the
Livington Arctic Air from the electricity supply
and leave to dry for 24 hours. Then use again as
usual.

• Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods
of time.

• If you plan to not use the Livington Arctic

Air for an extended period of time, empty
the water tank, switch the appliance on

and run it for at least 4 hours at the highest
speed level. By doing this, the filter and the
interior of the appliance will be dried.

• Only use the original adapter and the original
cable (supplied).

• Do not handle the power connection or the cable
with wet hands.

• Disconnect the Livington Arctic Air from the
electricity supply for cleaning, removal/
exchange of the filter or for carrying the
appliance around.

• It is preferable to place the
Livington Arctic Air on an elevated surface,
something like a table or sideboard.

• Do not place the Livington Arctic Air beside a
heating appliance.

• Do not place the appliance in passage areas, to
avoid anyone tripping over it or knocking it over.

• Absolutely no foreign objects should be
contained within the Livington Arctic Air.

• Do not place any objects on top of the Livington
Arctic Air.

• Do not block the outlets on the front and rear
side of the appliance.

• Do not stand the appliance upside down.

• Do not immerse the Livington Arctic Air in water
or other fluids.

• Do not situate the Livington Arctic Air beside an
open fire or other source of fire.

• These appliances can be used by children from
the age of 8, as well as by people of reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and/or knowledge provided

they have been supervised or instructed in
respect of the safe use of the appliance and
have understood the possible resulting dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user-maintenance must not
be carried out by children, unless they are
older than 8 years and supervised. Children
younger than 8 years are to be kept away from
the appliance and the connection cable. The
most extreme care is required when an air
conditioning unit is to be used within the vicinity
of children and if it is to be left operating while
unsupervised.

• The appliance can only be fully switched off by
disconnecting from the power supply.

• The manufacturer assumes no responsibility
for damages resulting from non-compliance of
these instructions.

• A replaceable water filter is designed
specifically for this product. If the filter is broken
or damaged, you can buy a replacement part.
For this purpose, please contact our customer
service. You will find the contact details on the
last page of the instruction manual.

• If the supplied cable does not work correctly,
please contact customer service in order to
avoid possible dangers.

• When removing the cover for changing of the
filter, the ventilator switches itself off and the
water tank begins to blink red until the cover is
put back on. This is a safety device.

TIPS:

• Place the Livington Arctic Air on a raised surface,
something like a dining table, desk or a sideboard.

• After refilling of the water tank and before use,
let the filter absorb water for at least 3 minutes.
This will provide you quicker with cooler air.

• You will feel the best effect if you sit directly in
front of the Livington Arctic Air.

• With one filling the Livington Arctic Air operates
at the lowest level for approximately 8 hours.
Also when the water tank is already empty, the
filter remains damp and the Livington Arctic Air
continues to cool.

• The colder the water used, the cooler the effect.
You may, therefore, also use iced water or water
with ice cubes.

• After prolonged non-use of the device, the
filter may start to give off a faint odour. This is
completely normal, and the smell will disappear
shortly after dampening and using again.

SETTING UP:

1. Place the Livington Arctic Air on a level base
(see illustration 1).

2. Open the water tank and fill it up
(see illustration 2). For this we recommend a
jug or beaker.

3. Plug the broader end of the cable into the
power supply and connect the power supply
to a socket. Then plug the narrower end of
the cable into the connection jack on the rear
side of the Livington Arctic Air (see illustration

3). NOTE: You can also connect the broader
USB-end to a computer. Only use the adapter
supplied by the manufacturer.

USE:

1. Press the on/off switch to power up the
Livington Arctic Air (see illustration 4).

2. Set the speed of the ventilator by pressing

the control switch. You have a choice of three
modes - LO, MED and HI (low, medium and
high). The display lights beside the switch will
show you at which speed the Livington Arctic
Air is currently operating (see illustration 5).

3. Select the light colour by pressing
the control switch. You have the choice of
continual colours or colour-changing mode
(see illustration 6).
COLOUR SEQUENCE: Blue, red, white, blue­green, purple, yellow, green.
Click all colours once to get to the colour
change mode. Click again to turn off the colour
completely.

4. To switch off press the on/off switch again.
NOTE: If you plan to not use the Arctic Air for a
long period of time, leave the unit to run with
an empty water tank at the highest setting for
at least 5 minutes, so that the filter can dr y out.

LOW WATER LEVEL: If the water level is low, the
tank will blink three times, every 60 seconds in
the colour YELLOW. When the tank is refilled, the
light will illuminate again as normal.

2. Lightly press the unlocking device below
the front air outlet and pull off the air outlet
downwards. Put it beside (see illustration 7).

3. Carefully pull the filter out of the
appliance (see illustration 8).

4. Insert the new filter in the Livington
Arctic Air, by following the markings on the
filter (see illustration 9).

5. Insert the top plug of the front air outlet
in the opening and snap the locking device
securely back into place (see illustration 10).

MAINTENANCE:

Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from
the power supply. We recommend cleaning
the interior of the water tank and the appliance
once a week. Use a non-abrasive cloth and, if
necessar y, a mild detergent. To achieve the best
results, we recommend replacing the filter ever y
6 months.

FILTER REPLACEMENT:

The water filter should be replaced every 6
months or when you get the impression that your
Livington Arctic Air is no longer functioning as
it should. The water tank lights up in YELLOW
until a filter is inserted again. To do this, keep the
ventilator speed regulator and the light switch
pressed down for 3 seconds until the tank no
longer lights up in YELLOW. To order the filter,
please contact our customer service. You will
find the contact details on the last page of the
instruction manual.

power supply.
