Installation
Mount the antenna vertically as shown with radial mountaing depending on your application. (If
installation is above 50 feet from the ground, see diagram A. If installation is below 50 feet, see
diagram B.) Antenna should be mounted in such a way as to provide line of sight to receivers. In
general, the higher the mounting the better. NOTE: You will need 76” of vertical clearance to
mount the 72MHz antenna (LA-116) and 24” of veritcal clearance to moun the 216MHz antenna
(LA-117).
Higher Level Installations
In larger facilities (such as an arena or gymnasium) where the antenna is mounted substantially
higher than users, mount the antenna such that the “radial” is mounted DOWN.
