Installation1

The Adapter is installed and set up using the Setup Wizard on the enclosed
Setup Wizard CD.

IMPORTANT: Do not install the Adapter in your computer

until you are instructed to do so, or the Adapter will not install
correctly.

A. Insert the Setup Wizard CD into

your CD-ROM drive.

NOTE: Windows or other personal  rewalls may ask for

permission to run the software or program. You will need to allow
the software to run in order to continue.

B. The Welcome screen appears.

button.

C. Read the License Agreement, and

select I accept the terms in the
License Agreement.

Click Next to continue the
installation.

D. Before connecting the PCI Adapter

to your PC, make sure that your
desktop PC is powered down.

Power Down the Desktop PC

Open your PC case and locate E.

an available PCI slot on the
motherboard. Check with your
computer manufacturer for
instructions.

F. Slide the PCI Adapter into the PCI

slot. Make sure that all of its pins
are touching the slot's contacts. You
may have to apply a bit of pressure
to slide the adapter all the way in.
After the adapter is  rmly in place,
secure its fastening tab to your PC's
chassis with a mounting screw.
Then, close your PC

G. Attach the two (2) external

antennas to the adapter’s antenna
ports.

Installation

Insert the Adapter

Power on your desktop PC.H.

Congratulations! Installation is complete.

If your computer runs I. Windows XP or 2000, proceed to “Section 2: Setup

for Windows XP or 2000”.

If your computer runs Windows Vista, proceed to “Section 3: Setup for
Windows Vista”.
