SELF-REGULATING HEATER INSTALLATION
1) If the operator is already installed it will be
necessary to take it down or the oil will run out and it
will be difficult to refill.
2) Tilt the operator so that the hand-chain
housing is up and remove the drain plug adjacent to
the hand-chain housing (opposite the motor) from the
gear reducer. If any oil is lost replace it with an equal
amount of Mobil 1 or equivalent.
3) Insert the heater plug into the oil drain hole
but do not tighten it at this time.
4) Insert the immersion heater into the heater
plug as far as it will go. Tighten the heater plug. The
plug will close around the heater and hold it in place.
