Features of LG Healthcare Water Purifier
2nd generation Inside Care Electrolysis turns the tap water to sterilized water without use of chemical,
it sterilizes 99.99%. It is LG Eco Sterilization system.
Sterilization Certification S Mark Sterilization Certification Mark was received from Korea Testing and
Research Institute, an international certification testing institute, under Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
Global minimum consumption power LG electronics environment-friendly high-efficiency compressor and the
world’s first vacuum insulation hot-water tank technology made possible the minimum consumption power.
Stainless water tank We use ‘Stainless’ for the water tank to maintain the hygiene and quality of
water.
User friendly design The design allows Long water bottles and wide bowls to be used easily for
getting water. The smart nozzle changes colors according to hot water/room temperature water/cold water.
Convenient maintenance Without special tools, filters can be replaced easily and its connection
structure prevents leakage. Without moving the product, replacement of filter and maintenance activities can be done in front.

Power related matters
Do not move the product when water purifier is running.
- There is a risk of breakdown or electric shock.
Power plug must be used with a grounded 230 V outlet only.
- There can be a breakdown and a risk of electric shock by a short circuit.
Do not bend the power cord by force nor press with heavy objects to prevent damage.
- There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
Do not pull out cord part nor touch power plug with wet hands.
- There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
Do not connect nor modify the cord randomly during installation.

Must use grounded outlet when using extension outlet.

Power related matters
Do not use multiple devices at the same time when using multioutlet.
- There is a risk of fire unusual heat.
Do not plug in and out continuously.

Do not force to bend the power cord or put heavy things on it.

If it is not used for a long time, turn off the water supply valve and unplug the power.

If it is not used for a long time, the water inside the cold and hot water bottle can be decayed. Therefore, the water inside the cold/hot water bottles should be emptied.
If the power cord is damaged or the outlet is loose, do not use it and contact Service Center.
- It might cause electric shock, electricity leakage or fire.
When the power cord is damaged, to avoid a danger, it should be repaired by a service technician.
- Otherwise, it might cause fire, electric shock or malfunction.

Do not place heating equipment, electric heaters, flame-generated products, etc near the product.
- There is a risk of fire.
Avoid direct sunlight or heat, especially moist when install.
- Refrigeration effects fall and there is a risk of electric shock.
Do not install the water purifier on an unstable place.
- If the water purifier falls over, casualties or property damages may occur.
Do not install the product where combustible gas can leak.
- Gas may leak around the water purifier and explosion or fire may occur.
No one should disassemble, repair, and remodel of its own.
- There are risks of breakdown, electric shock, and fire. Contact Service Center if a repair is required.
In case the outlet cannot ground so that separately grounded, do not ground to a gas pipe or faucet.
- There is a risk of gas explosion or electric shock.

During the installation or relocation of the product, watch out the possibility of damaging the pipe for refrigerants.
- If the pipe of refrigerants is damaged and gas is leaked, its spark can cause fire or burn.
During use
Do not let water get inside of the water purifier.
- There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
Do not spray pesticides or flammable sprays while running.
- It is harmful to health as well as can cause product failure or fire.
Do not sit nor put heavy things on the product.
- There are risks of breakdown or electric shock as well as injury.
Do not put foreign objects or fingers inside the water purifier while the purifier is running.
- There are risks of scald and electric shock. (Caution is needed, especially for children)

Do not let children hang on the product.
- The product might fall and hurt the children.
Do not poke inside of water purifier with any tool or sharp object.
- It can cause electric shock.
Please lock the supply water valve and pull the power plug out from the socket.
- The pump might be damaged.
Clean after the power plug is pulled out.
- There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
Do not put a hand or a metal stick inside the heating grill (exhaust pipe).
- If the pipe for refrigerants is damaged and gas is leaked, the spark will cause fire or burns.

Installation
As an indoor product, install where the product can avoid direct sunlight and protected from snow and rain.
- Product failure can be caused.
Connect to the power after 30­minutes of moving.

The back and sides of the product need more than 10 cm spaces apart from the wall for smooth airflow.

After the installation, make sure the connection of the hose and that of the water purifier are both open. (if not, open them.)
- If bolts are loose and water leaks, it might cause electric shock or property damage.

Make sure you use a new hose and parts for installation.
- If you use the used parts, water might leak and it will cause electric shock or property damage.
During use
If there's a strange noise, burning smell, or smoke from the water purifier, immediately turn off the purifier and cut off the power and then call service center.
- There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
Use LG's standard filter.
- If the filter from other company or non­standard product is used, it may cause breakdown or not purify well.
Replace filters regularly according to the replacement period.
- Taste can be changed. If filter not replaced on regular interval, output water may not come. (due to blockage) Filter cycle is different by the usage, location, season, water quality, etc.
When clean the product, do not spray water directly nor clean with benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc but use a soft, dry cloth.

Drink the purified water as soon as possible so that always fresh water flows in.
- If the water is kept long, it can grow bacteria or taste can be changed.

Make sure to use cup type containers for hot water.
