CAUTION concerning the Power Cord

POWER: This unit operates on a mains supply of 200-240V, 50/60Hz.
WIRING : This unit is supplied with a BSI 1363 approved 13 amp mains plug, fused at 3 amp. When replacing the fuse always use a 3 amp BS 1362, BSI or ASTA approved type. Never use this plug with the fuse cover omitted. To obtain a replacement fuse cover contact your dealer. If the type of plug supplied is not suitable for the mains sockets in your home, then the plug should be removed and a suitable type fitted. Please refer to the wiring instructions below:
WARNING: A mains plug removed from the mains lead of this unit must be destroyed. A mains plug with bared wires is hazardous if inserted in a mains socket. Do not connect either wire to the earth pin, marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol or coloured green or green and yellow.
If any other plug is fitted, use a 3 amp fuse, either in the plug, or at the distribution board.
IMPORTANT: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following codes:
- BLUE: NEUTRAL, BROWN: LIVE - As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this unit may not correspond with the coloured marking identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

Setting up
Attaching the speakers to the unit
Connect the black end of each wire to the terminals marked - (minus) and the other end to the terminals marked + (plus).
To connect the cable to the each speakers, press each plastic finger pad to open the connection terminals on the back of each speaker. Insert the wire and release the finger pad.
Be careful of the following
•Be careful to make sure children not to put their hands or any objects into the *speaker duct.
* Speaker duct : A hole for plentiful bass sound on speaker cabinet (enclosure).

Hooking up the unit
VIDEO OUT jack connection
Connect the VIDEO OUT jack on the unit to the corresponding input jacks on your TV using a Video cable.
Antenna connection
Fit the AM loop aerial to its stand
Connect the AM loop aerial to the unit.
Connect the FM aerial
The reception will be at its best when the two loose ends of the aerial are in a straight line and horizontal.
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT (PROGRESSIVE SCAN) jacks connection
Connect one end of the component (Y PB PR) cable to the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT (PROGRESSIVE SCAN) jack on the unit and other end to the COMPONENT INPUT jack on your TV.
AUX IN (L/R) jacks connection
Connect a VCR or Auxiliary device, etc. to the INPUT jack of this unit.
Press the FUNCTION button on the remote control until the “AUX” indicator is displayed in the display window.

1 POWER: Switches the unit ON or OFF. FUNCTION: Changes the function.
SLEEP: Sets the System to turn off automatically at a specified time. (Dimmer : Dims the LED (Light-emitting diode) of front panel by half in power-on status.)
Z OPEN/CLOSE: Open or close your CD door.
TITLE: If the current DVD title has a menu, the title menu appears on the screen. Otherwise, the disc menu may appear.
DISPLAY: Accesses On-Screen Display. MENU: Accesses the menu on a DVD disc. SETUP: Accesses or removes setup menu.
I i U u (left/right/up/down): Used to navigate on-screen displays.
ENTER: Acknowledges menu selection.

Controlling the TV.
You can control the sound level, input source, and power switching of LG TVs as well. Hold POWER (TV) and press PR/CH (+/–) button repeatedly until the TV turns on or off.
PROG./MEMO.: Accesses or removes Program menu. MIC VOL.(+/ - ): Adjusts microphone volume.
ECHO VOL.(+/ - ): Adjusts echo volume.
VOCAL FADER: You can enjoy the function as karaoke, by reducing singer vocal of music in the various source.
CLEAR: Removes a track number on the Program List.
