This lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

CAUTION: The apparatus should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the apparatus.

Warning: Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit.

Warning: Wiring methods shall be in accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.

Important Safety Instructions

1.Read these instructions. - All these safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.

2.Keep these instructions. - The safety, operating and use instructions should be retained for future reference.

3.Heed all warnings. - All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.

4.Follow all instructions. - All operating and use instructions should be followed.

5.Do not use this apparatus near water. – For example: near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement; near a swimming pool; etc.

6.Clean only with dry cloth. – Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.

7.Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. -

Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the product, and to protect it from overheating. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided and the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.

8.Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

9.Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10.Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11.Only use attachments/ accessories specified by

the manufacturer.

12.Use only the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/ apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

13.Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

14.Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-

supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Cautions for Safe Operation

Power Supply

This camera must always be operated a AC 24V or DC 12V Certified/Listed, class 2 power supply only. Note: Be careful of AC frequency when the camera

is operated with Line lock mode.

Do not expose the camera to rain or moisture

This product is designed for indoor use or location where it is protected from rain and moisture. When exposed to moisture, turn the power off immediately and ask a qualified service personnel for servicing.Moisture can damage the camera and also create the danger of electric shock.

Do not attempt to disassemble the camera

To prevent electric shock, do not remove screws or covers. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Ask a qualified service personnel for servicing.

Avoid the camera with direct sunlight

Do not aim the camera at bright objects. Never face it with direct sunlight or other extremely bright objects. Otherwise blooming or smear may be caused.

Do not use strong solvents or detergents

Use a dry cloth to the camera when it is dirty.

If it is hard to remove the dirt on the camera, use a mild detergent and wipe it gently.

Handle the camera with care

Do not abuse the camera. Avoid striking, shaking, etc. The camera could be damaged by improper handling or storage.

Before operating, please check proper temperature, humidity and power source ratings.

Use the camera under conditions where temperature is between -10 °C ~+50 °C.

Do not expose the camera in such condition as shown below.

Use in a room or area filled with cigarette smoke, dust or gas.
