FILTERED WATER AND ICE DISPENSER

The water dispenser dispenses fresh, chilled water.

The ice dispenser dispenses cubed and crushed ice.

DOOR ALARM

The Door Alarm function is designed to prevent refrigerator malfunctioning that could occur if a refrigerator door or freezer door remains open. If a refrigerator door or freezer door is left open for more than 60 seconds, a warning alarm sounds at 30-second intervals.

DOOR-IN-DOOR REFRESHMENT CENTER

The Door-in-Door Refreshment Center provides a convenient area for frequently used items that require easy access.

FRESH ZONE DRAWERS

The Fresh Zone drawers are designed to help keep fruits and vegetables fresh.

AUTO-CLOSING HINGE

The refrigerator doors and freezer drawers close automatically with a slight push. (The door only closes automatically when it is open at an angle less than 30°.)

ICE PLUS

Ice production is increased when the freezer section is maintained at the coldest temperature for a 24-hour period.

INSTAVIEW

The InstaView function on the Door-in-Door lets you see if you’re running low on frequently used items like beverages and snacks, without opening the refrigerator door.

Disassembly and replacement of refrigerator doors

WARNING

Risk of excessive weight:

Use two or more people to remove and install the refrigeratir doors, failure to follow these instructions may result in injuries to the or other parts of the body.

Electrick Shock Hazard:

Disconnect the electrical supply to the refrigerator before installation. Failure to do so could result in serious unjury or death.

Do not put hands, feet or other object into the air vents or bottom of the refrigerator. You may be injured or receive an electrical shock.

Disassemble the left refrigerator door

1 On the back of the refrigerator, take out the tube of water from the ferrule adapter located on the connector pressing the adapter release ring (see the image below).

2 Open the door. Remove the top hinge cover screw (1).

Use a flat screwdriver to pry and lift the hooks

 

(not seen in the picture) located in the lower front

part of the lid. Lift the lid.

4 Remove the cover (2). pull out the tubes (4) .

CAUTION

When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward.

5 Disconnect all wire harnesses (5).

6 Remove the grounding screw (6).

7 Rotate the hinge lever (7) counterclockwise. Lift the upper hinge (8) free of the hinge lever latch(9).

8 Place the door, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface.

CAUTION

Before you start, take out the food and remove the door trays.

3 Turn the hinge lever (3) in the direction of the clockwise Lift the upper hinge (4) separate from the lever holder of the hinge (5).

4 Place the door, with the inside facing up, on a surface that does not scratch.

CAUTION

1 Open the door. Remove the screw from the cover of the upper hinge (1). Lift the lid (2).

2 Use a flat screwdriver to pry and lift the hooks (not seen in the picture) located in the lower front part of the lid.

Lift the lid.

When you lift the hinge apart from the bra, have be careful that the door does not fall forward.

Lift the door from the hinge pin of the middle and remove the door.

Place the door, with the inside facing up, on a surface that does not scratch.

Caution

When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall foward

Place the door, inside facing up, on a nonscratching surface. Be careful not to damage the water lines.

Gently press the collet and insert the tube until only one line

NOTE

Do not remove the grease on the surface of the gasket or hinge.

Do not remove the sensor assembly in the rigth upper hinge cover.

Water hoses should be cut with a clean, straight edge to avoid leaks.

Assembling the Freezer Door

Left Door

Lower the door over the middle hinge pin.

Make sure the door is aligned with the

 

interior cabinet.

Place the top hinge on the bra of the Hinge lever

 

and in place. Turn the lever clockwise and adjust

the hinge.

Fit the top over the hinge lever latch and into place.

 

Rotate the lever clockwise to secure the hinge.

Install the grounding screw and connect all the

 

wire harnesses.

Push the water supply tube into the hole from the top of

 

the cabinet and pull it through the back plate.

Reconnect the water tubes by inserting the tubes

 

into the connectors. The tube is inserted correctly

when only one guide line is showing out of two.
