of your enhanced IP phone system, in an easy
to use and ergonomic environment. The
8000 Series will impress you with its modern,
slick design. It maximizes your desktop space
while combining an extensive set of telephony
functions in an elegant design.

Unwire yourself from your desktop phone with
Bluetooth technology that will let you roam in
your oce freely*. Utilising any Bluetooth headset
with your LG-Nortel IP Phone 8000 series will allow
you to make and receive calls anywhere in the
oce. Just free your hands from holding the
handset without the oce disruption caused by
a speakerphone!

EASY CONNECTIVITY WITH BLUETOOTH

PC CONTROL AND SOFTPHONE

The 8000 Series can be controlled, by using a
PC software application, directly from your
computer desktop - signicantly increasing
your productivity. You can also link your 8000
series phone with your mobile phone or PDA
using the mobile extension feature or the
LG-Nortel softphone (Phontage). Never juggle
numbers again, and always ensure that your
valued customers can reach you.

EXPANSIVE FEATURE SET

With up to 3 soft keys and 24 exible keys,
an executive or administrative assistant can
have single-key access to the most requested
features.

WEB BASED MANAGEMENT

With context sensitive soft keys, control
of complex communications features and
functions is at your ngertips (available on all
LIP-8000 models). Easy to setup menus make
calling easier and more convenient while
shortening the installation time. The web­based remote administration (with enhanced
security and password control) allows for
automated provisioning and maintenance ­simplifying the installation.

WITH ROOM FOR EXPANSION

The feature expansion module port provides a high speed data/audio/control interface

so that advanced features can be added on in the future. The Bluetooth

module utilises this port for communicating with headsets.

The innovative Direct Station Selection / BLF Call Coverage function, available on the

IPECS platform, makes the 8000 series the ideal choice for attendant answering

or secretarial Call Coverage positions. The range of DSS consoles available

in the 8000 Range provide additional exible keys which can be congured

to provide quick and easy access to functions most needed by the answering

/ coverage position. The Busy Lamp Field (BLF) functions indicate the line,

feature and user status (busy, idle or hold) and the Call Coverage function gives the
