a Connect the antenna to the ANT. IN jack on the Recorder Combi Receiver and connect the RF.
OUT jack on the Recorder Combi Receiver to the antenna jack on the TV using the RF
Cable supplied.
b Connect the DVD/VCR OUT (VIDEO/AUDIO(L/R)) jacks on the Recorder Combi Receiver
to the audio/video in jacks on the TV using the supplied audio/video cables.
c Turn the TV on and select the video input source connected to the recorder.

a Connect the SYSTEM on the Recorder Combi Receiver to the SYSTEM SELECTOR rear
of the Active Subwoofer Speaker, using the supplied System cable.
b Connect the speakers using the supplied speaker cables.
c To obtain the best possible surround sound, adjust the speaker parameters (volume,
distance, etc.).

Be sure to match the speaker cable to the appropriate terminal on the components: + to + and – to –. If
the cables are reversed, the sound will be distorted and will lack base.
If you use front speakers with low maximum input rating, adjust the volume carefully to avoid excessive
output on the speakers.

a Connect the AM loop antenna to the AM antenna connector.
b Connect the FM wire antenna to the FM antenna connector.
c Turn the TV on and select the video input source connected to the recorder.

To prevent noise pickup, keep the AM loop antenna away from the Recorder Combi Receiver and other
components.
Be sure to fully extend the FM wire antenna.
After connecting the FM wire antenna, keep it as close to horizontal as possible.
