To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the
following instructions must be followed.

■ Incorrect operation due to ignoring of instruction will cause harm or

Repair or relocation should not be done by

the customer.

• If this is done in correctly, it may cause a fire,
electric shock, injury by dropping of the unit,
water leakage, etc. Consult your dealer.

■

Do not install, remove and reinstall the unit by yourself.

• Improper installation will cause water leakage, electrical
shock, or fire. Please consult authorized dealer or specialist
for the installation work. Please note fault caused by
improper installation is not covered by warranty.

• Unit must be installed in an easily accessible area. Any
additional cost required to hire a special equipment to
service the unit will be the responsibility of the customer.

• In the cooling mode, if it is
operated in a room with high
humidity (80%r.h. or more) for a
long time, water condensed in
the air conditioner may drop and
may wet and spoil furniture, etc.

Do not step onto an unstable

bench when

attaching/detaching the panel.

• It may case an injury, etc. by
falling down.

Do not use for special

purposes.

• Do not use this air conditioner
to preserve precision devices,
food, animal, plants and art
objects.
It may cause deterioration of

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

Name and Function of Remote Controller

Operation display

Displays the operation conditions.

On/Off Button

Operation starts when this button is
pressed, and stops when the button is
pressed again.

Set Temperature Button

Used to set the temperature when the
desired temperature is obtained.

FAN Operation Button

Used to circulate room air without cooling
or heating.

Fan Speed Button

Used to set the desired fan speed.

• WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROLLER

This air-conditioner is equipped with wired remote controller basically. But if you want to be
available with wireless remote controller, you pay for it.

CAUTION

of handling the Remote Controller

• Aim at the signal receptor on the wired remote controller so as to operate.

• The remote control signal can be received at a distance of up to about 7m.

• Be sure that there are no obstructions between the remote controller and the signal receptor.

• Do not drop or throw the remote controller.
Do not place the remote controller in a location exposed to direct sunlight, or near the heating unit, or any
other heat source.

• Block a strong light over the signal receptor with a curtain or etc. so as to prevent the abnormal operation.
(ex:electronic quick start, ELBA, inverter type fluorescent lamp)

FAN Operation Button

Used to circulate room air without cooling or heating.

Cooling Operation Button

Soft Dry Operation Button

Used to dehumidify without overcooling.

Heating Operation Button

(Heat pump model only)

Timer Set Button

Used to set the timer when the desired time is
obtained.
Then the wired remote controller is set to 24
hours by an hour but the wireless remote
controller is set to 7 hours by an hour.
Therefore, if you want to set over 7 hours, use
the wired remote controller.

Fan Speed Button

Used to set the desired fan speed.

On/Off Button

Operation starts when this button is pressed,
and stops when the button is pressed again.

Set Temperature Button

Used to set the temperature when the desired
temperature is obtained.

Remote Controller

Signal transmitter

Transmits the signals to the signal receptor.

How to use the Operation Mode Selection Button

Cooling Operation

Press the ON/OFF button.

Open the door on the remote control. To select Cooling
operation, press the Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is
shifted in the direction of the arrow.

Set the temperature lower than the room temperature.
The temperature can be set within a range of 18°C~30°C
in 1°C increments.

You can select the fan speed in three steps-HI(High),
LO(Low), MED(Medium). Each time the button is pressed,
the fan speed mode is shifted.

Open the door on the remote control. To select Soft Dry
operation, press the Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is
shifted in the direction of the arrow.

The indoor fan speed is automatically set to the low, so the
shift of the indoor fan speed is impossible because of
already being set to the best speed for Dry operation by
Micom Control.

Heating Operation(Heat pump model only)

Open the door on the remote control. To select Heating
operation, press the Operation Mode Selection button.
Each time the button is pressed, the operation mode is
shifted in the direction of the arrow.

Set the temperature higher than the room temperature.
The temperature can be set within a range of 16°C~30°C in
1°C increments.

You can select the fan speed in three steps–HI(High),
LO(Low), MED(Medium). Each time the button is pressed,
the fan speed mode is shifted.

This air-conditioner is set to the hot start control in order not to
discharge the cold air during the heating operation. This time, the
remote controller indicates ʻPREHEATʼ.

If the outdoor temperature is too low during the heating operation, this
air-conditioner is set to the defrosting operation and the remote
controller indicates ʻDEFROSTʼ.

desired time is set.

note: Select one of the following two types of operation.

If the settings are cancelled by a power failure.

Press the On/Off Button, and then set the timer again as desired time according to Timer Setting
Procedure.

• Cooling Operation Mode

When the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, it operates in cooling mode at
the set temperature, the set fan speed, and then it will be in automatically turn off when the
room temperature reaches the set temperature +0.5°C.

Helpful information

Airflow speed and cooling capacity.
The cooling capacity indicated in the specification
is the value when the fan speed is set to high, and
the capacity will be lower at low or medium fan
speed.
High fan speed is recommended when you wish to
cool the room quickly.

Care and maintenance

Outdoor Unit

The heat exchanger coils and panel vents of the
outdoor unit should be checked regularly. If
clogged with dirt or soot, the heat exchanger
and panel vents may be professionally steam
cleaned.

Note:

Dirty or clogged coils will reduce the
operating efficiency of the system and cause
higher operating costs.

caution: Before performing any maintenance, turn off the main power to the system.

Indoor Unit

Grille, Case, and Remote Control

❏ Turn the system off before cleaning. To

clean, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not
use bleach or abrasives.

Note:

Supply power must be disconnected
before cleaning the indoor unit.

❏

Never use any of the followings:

• Water hotter than 40°C

Could cause deformation and/or
discoloration.

• Volatile substances

Could damage the surfaces of the
air conditioner.

Clean the filter with a vacuum or warm,
soapy water.

• If very dirty, wash with a solution of
detergent in lukewarm water.

• If hot water (50°C or more) is used,
filter may be deformed.

After washing with water, dry well in the
shade.

Re-install the air filter.

Air Filters(Option)

The air filters behind Indoor unit
(the suction side) should be checked and cleaned
once every 2 weeks or more often if necessary.

Helpful information

The air filters and your electiric bill.
If the air filters become clogged with dust, the
cooling capacity will drop, and 6% of the electricity
used to operate the air conditioner will be wasted.

When it is not going to be used for

a long time.

When the air conditioner is to

be used again.

Operate the air conditioner on Air circulation
mode (Reter to page 10) for 2 to 3 hours.

• This will dry out the internal parts.

Turn off the circuit breaker.

Turn off the circuit breaker when the air conditioner
is not going to be used for a long time.

Dirt may collect and may cause a fire.

■ Check that the air inlet and outlet of the
indoor/outdoor unit are not blocked.

Do not overcool the room.

This is not good for the health
and wastes electricity.

Keep blinds or curtains

closed.

Do not let direct sunshine
enter the room when the air
conditioner is in operation.

Make sure that the doors

and windows are shut tight.

Avoid opening doors and
windows as much as possible
to keep the cool air in the
room.

Clean the air filter regularly.

Blockages in the air filter
reduce the airflow and lower
cooling and dehumidifying
effects. Clean at least once
every two weeks.

Ventilate the room

occasionally.

Since windows are kept
closed, it is a good idea to
open them and ventilate the
room now and then.

• Wait about three

operation will begin.

does not operate.

peculiar odor.

It seems that

WATER RESISTANT: The outdoor side of this appliance is WATER RESISTANT.

The indoor side is not water resistant and should not be exposed to
excess water.

Precauzioni di Installazione

Nel caso di anomalie (puzzo di bruciato ecc.)
fermare il condizionatore e o spegnere lʼinterruttore
automatico.

• Se lʼunità continua a funzionare in condizioni anomale,
si possono verificare incendi, danni ecc. In questo caso
contattare il rivenditore.

Le riparazioni o una nuova collocazione non devono
essere effettuate dal cliente.

• Se queste operazioni vengono effettuate in modo
scorretto, si possono verificare incendi, scosse

Il condizionatore è fornito, di base, di un telecomando a filo. Ma se desiderate un
telecomando senza fili lo dovete pagare.

Uso del telecomando

• Direzionate il telecomando verso il ricevitore di segnale del climatizzatore d'aria in funzione.

• Il segnale del telecomando può essere ricevuto fino ad una distanza di circa 7m.

• Assicuratevi che, tra il telecomando ed il ricevitore di segnale, non vi sia alcun ostacolo.

• Maneggiate con cura il telecomando e non fatelo cadere.

• Non lasciate il telecomando esposto a luce solare diretta, né vicino a fonti di calore.

Come Usare il pulsante Selezione Modo Operazione

Aprire lo sportello sul comando a distanza. Per selezionare
lʼoperazione di Refrigerazione, premere il pulsante
Selezione Modo Operazione. Ogni volta che viene premuto
il pulsante, il modo operazione viene spostato nella
direzione della freccia.

Impostare la temperatura sotto a quella dellʼambiente. La
temperatura può essere impostata su unʼescursione da 18°C
a 30°C ad increm,enti di 1°C.

E possibile selezionare la velocità della ventola su tre
posizioni HI (Massimo), LO (Minimo) MED (Medio). Ogni
volta che viene premuto il pulsante viene spostato il modo
di funzionamento della ventola.

Quando la temperatura dellʼambiente è maggiore alla temperatura impostata, funziona nel modo
refrigerazione alla temperatura impostata, la velocità della ventola impostata, dopodiché, si spegnerà
automaticamente quando la temperatura dellʼambiente raggiunge la temperatura impostata + 0.5°C.

Informazioni Utili

Velocità della ventola e capacità refrigerante
La capacità refrigerante indicata nelle specifiche è il
valore quando la velocità della ventola viene impostata
su massimo, e la capacità è inferiore con velocità della
ventola impostate a minima o media.
Si consiglia la velocità massima quando si desidera
refrigerare velocemente la stanza.

Funzione autodiagnosi

'CHECK' lampeggia sul display del telecomando quando si verifica un problema. In questo caso
mettersi in contatto con il proprio rivenditore.

Unità Esterna

Le serpentine di scambio calore e le prese
dʼaria del pannello dellʼunità esterna devono
essere controllate regolarmente. Se intasate
da sporcizia o fuliggine, si possono far pulire
professionalmente con vapore sia le
seprpentine che le prese dʼaria.

NOTA:

Serpentine sporche o intasate riducono
lʼefficienza del sistema e portano a costi
operativi più elevati.

Unità Interna

Griglia, armadietto e telecomando

❏ Spegnere il sistema prima di pulire. Per

pulire strofinare con un panno morbido e
asciutto. Non usare sbiancanti o abrasivi.

NOTA:

L’alimentazione deve essere scollegata
prima di procedere con la pulizia dell’unità
interna.

❏ Non usare mai quanto segue:

• Acqua più calda di 40°C
Questo potrebbe causare deformazione
e/o discolorazione.

• Sostanze volatili
Queste potrebbero danneggiare le
superfici del condizionatore di aria.

Pulire il filtro con un aspirapolvere o
acqua saponata calda.

• Se è molto sporco, lavare con una
soluzione detergente in acqua tiepida.

•  Se si usa acqua calda (50°C o più) è

possibile che il filtro si deformi.

Dopo il lavaggio con acqua asciugare
bene in luogo dʼombra.

Installare nuovamente il filtro dʼaria.

I filtri di aria dietro allʼunità interna (lato aspirazione)
devono essere controllati e puliti una volta ogni 2
settimane o più spesso se necessario.

Nel caso di inutilizzo prolungato del condizionatore

Suggerimenti di uso

Non refrigerare
eccessivamente lʼambiente.

Questo non fa bene alla vostra
salute ed è uno spreco di
elettricità.

Pulire regolarmente il filtro
dʼaria.

Blocchi nel filtro dʼaria riducono
il flusso dʼaria e diminuiscono la
capacità refrigerante e gli effetti
deumidificatori. Pulire almeno
una volta ogni due settimane.

Tenere chiuse tende e
veneziane.

Non lasciare che la luce diretta
del sole entri nellʼambiente
quando il condizionatore dʼaria
è in funzione.

Ventilare occasionalmente
lʼambiente.

Poiché le finestre vengono
tenute chiuse, è una buona
idea aprirle di tanto in tanto per
ventilare lʼambiente.

Assicurarsi che porte e
finestre siano ben chiuse.

Evitare il più possibile di aprire
porte e finestre per mantenere
lʼaria fresca nellʼambiente.

Utilizzare il condizionatore nel modo
Circolazione Aria (fare riferimento alla
pagina 10) per 2 o 3 ore.

• Questo asciuga le componenti interne.

Assicurarsi che le prese dʼaria in
aspirazione ed in uscita dellʼunità

I filtri dʼaria e la vostra bolletta elettrica.
Se i filtri dʼaria vengono intasati dalla polvere, la

capacità di refrigerazione diminuirà, ed il 6%
dellʼelettricità utilizzata per il funzionamento del
condizionatore verrà sprecato.

Spegnere lʼinterruttore automatico.

Spegnere lʼinterruttore automatico nel caso di
inutilizzo del condizionatore per un lungo è
