a.If batteries are disposed incorrectly, it can greatly harm the environment. The chemical byproducts are hazardous. The metals and chemicals found in batteries can mix into soil which may be hazardous to humans, plants and animals. If thrown in fire, they can cause blast and release toxic gases which may be harmful for health.
b.The refrigerant used can be combustible at low pressure. The potential health effect of over exposure is dizziness, headache and heart irregularities.

In case the power comes on again after a power failure, Auto Restarting Operation is the function to operate procedures automatically to the previous operating conditions.

CAUTION
Before performing any maintenance, turn o the main power to the system. Never use any of the followings:

• Volatile substances. Could damage the surfaces of the air conditioner.
Air Filters
The air lters behind the front panel / grill should be checked and cleaned once in every 2 weeks or more often if necessary. To remove the lters see the self explanatory diagrams for each model type. Clean the lters with a vacuum cleaner
or warm soapy water. If dirt is not easily removed, wash with a solution of
detergent in luke warm water. Dry well in shade after washing and reinstall the lters back in place.
Clean the air lter
Clean the air lter once every 2 weeks or more if necessary.
1.Turn o the power and unplug the power cord.
2.Hold the knob of air lter, Lift it up slightly.
3. Hold the knob of the air lter, lift it up slightly and remove it from the unit.
4.Clean the lter with a vacuum cleaner or with warm water.
-If dirt is di cult to remove, wash the lter in lukewarm water with detergent.
5.Dry the lter in the shade.
NOTE
The air lter can be broken when it is bended.

Assemble the air lter
Clean the air lter once every 2 weeks or more if necessary.
1.Turn o the power and unplug the power cord.
2.Insert the hooks of the air lter into the front grille.
3. Push down hooks to assemble the air lter.
4. Check side of the front grille for the air lter assembled correctly.
NOTE
The air lter is not assembled correctly, Dust and other substance come into the indoor unit. If look at the indoor unit from higher than it, can assemble the top lter easily.
