This ULTRA HD Upgrade Kit allows the playback of ULTRA HD Video content on LG ULTRA
HD TV’S.

INSTALLATION

This section on INSTALLATION mainly uses diagrams for the 65LA9700 model.

Updating TV software

1 Connect the supplied USB to TV. The software update is started automatically.
2 When the update is completed, TV is restarted.

Setting up the upgrade kit

1 Attach the velcro tape on back of TV as shown below.

2 Connect the "①" cable to the jack as shown below.

3 Attach the upgrader on the TV (by using velcro sticker).

4 Connect the "②" cable end connector to HDMI input jack on TV.
5 Connect the "③" cable end connector to USB input jack on TV.

Playing contents

1 Connect the USB (flash) device to TV to supply content.
The [Linked device] appears in SmartShare List and when Pop Up appears press
[YES].
2 When [ULTRA HD Upgrade Kit has been connected] Pop Up appears Select
content/file and it will commence to play.

In diesem Abschnitt zur INSTALLATION werden hauptsächlich Abbildungen des
Modells 65LA9700 verwendet.

Aktualisieren der TV-Software

1 Verbinden Sie den bereitgestellten USB-Stick mit dem TV-

Gerät. Die Softwareaktualisierung beginnt automatisch.

2 Sobald die Aktualisierung abgeschlossen ist, wird das TV-Gerät neu gestartet.

Einrichten des Aktualisierungskits

1 Bringen Sie das Klettband wie unten gezeigt am TV-Gerät an.

2 Verbinden Sie das Kabel "①" wie unten gezeigt mit der Buchse.

3 Befestigen Sie den Upgrader mithilfe des Klettband am TV-Gerät.

4 Verbinden Sie den Anschluss "②" am Kabelende mit

der HDMI-Eingangsbuchse am TV-Gerät.

5 Verbinden Sie den Anschluss "③" am Kabelende mit der USB-Eingangsbuchse

am TV-Gerät.

Inhalte abspielen

1 Verbinden Sie den USB-Stick mit dem TV-Gerät, um Inhalte abzuspielen.

Das [Verknüpftes Gerät] erscheint in der SmartShare-Liste.
Wenn das Popup-Menü erscheint, drücken Sie [JA].

2 Wenn das Popup-Menü [Ultra HD Upgrade-Kit ist angeschlossen.] erscheint,

wählen Sie den gewünschten Inhalt/die gewünschte Datei aus, und die
Wiedergabe beginnt.

Warnhinweise

yVideowiedergabe

Unterstützt nur die Wiedergabe über USB.
Nur die Dateierweiterungen .mp4, .mkv und .ts werden unterstützt.
LG ULTRA HD TV sind mit den meissten HEVC codierten Inhalten kompatibel. Aufgrund
der Vielzahl der Codec Varianten können möglicherweise einige Inhalte nicht
abgespielt werden.
Sollten neuere Codec Versionen vorliegen, können diese per Software Update
installiert werden.

yHinweis

Aktualisieren Sie die TV-Software, bevor Sie das Aktualisierungskit einrichten.
Es wird nur ein ULTRA HD-Aktualisierungskit unterstützt.
