Carefully place the product screen side down on a cushioned surface that will protect product and screen from damage.
Assemble the product stand with the product as shown.
Install the 4 bolts securely, in the back of the product in the holes provided.

Set it up close to the wall so the product doesn’t fall over when it is pushed backwards.
A
The instructions shown below is a safer way to set up the product, which is to fix it on the wall so the product doesn’t fall over when it is pulled in the forward direction. It will prevent the product from falling for-ward and hurting people. It will also prevent the product from damage caused by fall. Please make sure that children don’t climb on or hang from the product.

When moving the product to another place undo the ropes first.

Use a product holder or a cabinet that is big and strong enough for the size and weight of the product.

To use the product safely make sure that the height of the bracket that is mounted on the wall is same as that of the product.

Use the eye-bolts or TV brackets/bolts to fix the product to the wall as shown in the picture. (If your product has the bolts in the eye-bolts position before inserting the eye-bolts, loosen the bolts.) * Insert the eye-bolts or TV brackets/bolts and tighten them securely in the upper holes.
Secure the wall brackets with the bolts (not provided as parts of the product, must purchase separately) on the wall. Match the height of the bracket that is mounted on the wall.

Use a sturdy rope (not provided as parts of the product, must purchase separately) to tie the product. It is safer to tie the rope so it becomes horizontal between the wall and the product.

Avoid keeping a fixed image on the set’s screen for a long period of time. The fixed image may become permanently imprinted on the screen; use a screen saver when possible.

Connect PC to the RGB (PC) or HDMI IN (or HDMI/DVI IN) port of the set; change the resolu­tion output of PC accordingly.

There might be noise according to some resolution, vertical pattern, contrast or brightness in PC mode. Change the PC mode into another resolution or change the refresh rate into another rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the menu until the picture is clean. If the refresh rate of the PC graphic card can not be changed, change the PC graphic card or con­sult it to the manufacturer of the PC graphic card.

RGB input only supports the separate horizontal and vertical synchronization pulses in separate channels.

We recommend using 1360x768, 60Hz (LCD TV models / 50 inch PLASMA TV models) / 10 2 4x768, 60Hz (42 inch PLASMA TV models) for the PC mode, they provide the best picture quality.

Connect the signal cable from the monitor output port of the PC to the RGB (PC/DTV) port of the set or the signal cable from the HDMI output port of the PC to the HDMI IN (or HDMI/DVI IN) port on the set.

Connect the audio cable from the PC to the Audio input on the set. (Audio cables are not included with the set).

If using a sound card, adjust PC sound as required.

This set uses a VESA Plug and Play Solution. The set provides EDID data to the PC system with a DDC protocol. The PC adjusts automatically when using this set.

If required, adjust the settings for Plug and Play functionally.

A Skipping a programme number

This function enables you to watch some scrambled services (pay ser­vices). If you remove the CI Module, you can’t watch the pay services. When the module is inserted to CI slot, you can access the module menu. To purchase a module and smart card, contact your supplying dealer. Do not often insert or remove a CAM module from the set. DVR (Digital Video Recorder): A device which records and plays broadcast programme contents onto a hard disk in set or SET TOP BOX.
The total storage space of the hard-disk is 160 GB. 4 GB minimum is reserved for TimeShift Mode.
When turning power on, it may take up to a maxi­mum of 3 minutes to initialise the HDD.
The Recording function will not initiate for a copy-protected programme.
Because an analogue broadcast is converted to a digital signal, video that contains rapid move­ment may show "cross stripes". This happens when the analogue signal is compressed and
then restored in the digital signal. The unit will attempt to reduce this excessive picture noise.
TimeShift Mode is available in DTV, TV, AV1, AV2, AV3 mode.
TimeShift Mode is available for Audio only channels.

Programmes are stored separately according to the colour system that they are using. e.g. PAL/NTSC.
Recording is based on the currently being viewed source. The Auto AV source is recorded while viewing the SCART Auto AV, but the Analog TV source is recorded while viewing the Analog TV source. When the reserved recording is per­formed, even if the channel is set to the Analog TV, if the Scart Auto AV operates, the Auto AV source is recorded.
When the channel switch key is entered while recording the Analog TV source, the channel is switched to the Digital TV source. However, when the numeric key is entered, it is not switched.
The maximum schedule recording duration is 12 hours. The maximum number of schedule record­ing is 60 in the UK and 30 in the rest of the world.

This system has an Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) to help your navigation through all the possible viewing options.

This function can be used only when the EPG information is broadcasted by broadcasting companies.

The Off time function automatically switches the set to standby at the preset time. Tw o hours after the set is switched on by the On time function it will automatically switch back to standby mode unless a but­ton has been pressed. Once the on time/off time is set, these functions operate daily at the preset time. The Off time function overrides the On timer function if they are set both to the same time. The set must be in standby mode for the On time function to work.

You don’t have to remember to switch the set off before you go to sleep. The sleep timer automatically switches the set to standby after the preset time has elapsed.

SLEEP TIMER SETTING

Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select the num­ber of minutes.
The display ‘

’ will appear on the screen,
followed by 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 240.
When the number of minutes you want is displayed on the screen, the timer begins to count down from the number of minutes selected.
To view the remaining sleep time, press the SLEEP but- ton once.
To cancel the sleep time, repeatedly press the SLEEP button until the display ‘

’ appears.
When you switch the set off, the set cancels the pre­set sleep time.
