D/C CUT FUSE INSTALLATION
Installation
The D/C CUT FUSE has been removed at the assembly plant to reduce parasitic current draw in transit and storage.
The removed D/C CUT FUSE is stored in the blank space of the relay block in the engine compartment. The D/C CUT
FUSE must be reinstalled to the original location during PDS (Pre-Delivery Service) at the dealership.

NOTICE:

With the DC CUT FUSE (30A) removed, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is detected when the ignition is turned on
during transportation. Clear all DTCs using the GTS after checking that there are no malfunctions on the vehicle.

INITIALIZATION OF POWER SEAT MEMORY ECU (for Driver's Seat)
Initialization

NOTICE:

When initializing the slide and reclining operations, make sure that the headrest does not contact the ceiling.
1. Initialization Procedure
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Operate the vertical power seat switch to downward 3 times.
3. Within 10 seconds of operating the vertical power seat switch, simultaneously operate and hold the
reclining power seat switch to recline and lifter power seat switch to upward until a buzzer sounds.
4. Operate each power seat switch to initializing power seat memory ECU.
*: The specifications of the power seat differ depending on the model.

ACTIVATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

Activation
The tire pressure warning valve & transmitter is built in each tire valve, and the measured tire inflation pressure data is sent to
the tire pressure warning ECU & receiver by radio wave.
However, the radio wave is stopped at assembly plant, because the frequency of the radio wave emitting from the tire
pressure warning valve & transmitter does not comply with the Japan Radio Act.
Activate the tire pressure warning valve & transmitter to operate the tire pressure warning system during PDS (Pre-Delivery
Service) at the dealership according to the procedure outlined below.

Activation Procedure
a. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON, and check that the tire pressure
warning light illuminates after blinking for 1 minute.
c. Press the valve core to reduce the tire inflation pressure
2
rapidly by 6 psi (0.4 kgf/cm
, 40 kPa) or more within 30
seconds.
HINT: This operation is required for the system to be activated
and must be performed for each tire, one at a time.
d. Using the GTS, check that Vehicle Control History (RoB) for
"tire pressure warning valve & transmitter stop" (X20F0 to
X20F4) are not output.
HINT:
If the Vehicle Control History (RoB) (X20F0 to X20F4) are
output, repeat step (c).
If the Vehicle Control History (RoB) (X20F0 to X20F4) are
output, after repeating step (c), turn the tire 90 to 270 degrees.
If any Vehicle Control History (RoB) other than the Vehicle
Control History (RoB) (X20F0 to X20F4) are output, refer to
the Repair Manual.

INITIALIZATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

Initialization
The tire pressure warning valve and transmitter is built in each tire valve, and the measured tire inflation pressure data is
sent to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver by radio wave.
After adjusting all tires to the standard air pressure, perform initialization of the tire pressure warning system during PDS
(Pre-Delivery Service) at the dealership according to the procedure outlined below.
Initialization Procedure
a. Make sure that the tires are cold and set the tire inflation pressure of
all tires to the specified values.
HINT: The specified values show on the tire and loading information
label on the vehicle.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON.
c. Operate the steering pad switch assembly, select "Set pressure" on
the multi-information display and press and hold the "OK" switch
(steering pad switch assembly) until the tire pressure warning light
blinks 3 times.
d. Turn the ignition switch off and connect the GTS to the DLC3.
e. Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the GTS on.
f. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
g. Confirm all the tire pressure data displayed on the GTS screen to
check the completion of the initialization.
HINT:
The order in which the data is received is random.
If the signals from all the tire pressure
warning valve and transmitters are received, initialization is
completed.
Initialization is completed when the Data List "ID Tire
Inflation Pressure" display shows the correct pressures.
Initialization is normally completed within a few minutes.
If initialization has not been completed successfully,
Vehicle Control History (RoB) X20FE is stored after a
vehicle speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more continues
for 20 minutes or more. Refer to the Repair Manual.

h. Set the tire inflation pressure of all tires to the specified values.
HINT: If there is a great difference between the current temperature
of the tire and wheel (example: shop temperature) and expected
temperature (outdoor temperature), this needs to be considered
when adjusting the tire inflation pressure.
i. Remove the ID number labels when they are attached on each wheel

INSTALLATION OF TOWING HITCH COVER (if equipped)

Installation Procedure
1. Attach the 2 clips to install the towing hitch cover as shown in the illustration.
2.
