Safety information
CAUTION: Do not make any cabling connections during a lightning
storm.
Use only the power supply provided with this product or the
manufacturer’s authorized replacement power supply.
Refer to the User’s Guide for complete safety information.
AC アダプタを本体に接続します。次に

Connect the power supply.

用紙サポーターを開き、排紙トレイを引き出します。
Lift the paper support and extend the paper exit tray.
スキャナユニットを開きます。
Lift the scanner unit.
注意：スキャナユニット固定レバーでスキャナユニットが
固定されていることを確認してください。
Caution: Make sure the scanner support is in place.
赤いレバーを手前に引いて読み取り
ヘッドのロックを解除します。
スキャナユニットを持ち上げ固定レバー
を倒して、スキャナユニットを閉じます。
操作パネル用オーバーレイが同梱されている
場合は貼り付けます。
電源 ボタンを押します。
Unlock the scanner.

Close the scanner unit.

Apply an overlay.
Press Power.

＋ ボタンを繰り返し押して「日本語」を表示し、設定 ボタンを押して選択します。次に、＋ ボタンを繰り返し押して
「A4」を表示し、設定 ボタンを押して選択します。これにより標準設定の用紙サイズが A4 になります。
Press + to scroll to your language, and then press Select. Repeat to choose a default paper size.

スキャナユニットを開きます。
カートリッジからテープと保護材を
取り除きます。
カートリッジを取り付けます。
スキャナユニットを持ち上げ固定レバー
を倒して、スキャナユニットを閉じます。

固定されていることを確認してください。
Remove the tape and packaging.

computer, continue with the following steps.
コンピュータの電源をオンにします。
USB ケーブルでコンピュータに接続します。
［キャンセル］をクリックして、新しいハードウェアの追加ウィザードを
すべて閉じます。
Turn your computer on.

Connect the USB cable.
Click Cancel on all New Hardware screens.

CD 1 をセットします。
Insert CD 1.
CD 2 をセットします。

CD に収納の『ユーザーズガイド』を開くには、以下のよう
に操作します。
1 Windows の場合は CD 1、Macintosh の場合は CD 2 を
CD-ROM ドライブにセットします。
2 Windows の場合は［ユーザーズガイド（PDF）を開く］
を、Macintosh の場合は「ユーザーズガイド」をクリッ
クします。

2 Click View User’s Guide.
