•Enter the menus from the ready state
•Scroll through menus or values
•Increase or decrease a numerical value
•Display the Job Menu or the Supplies Menu while the printer is busy
Press Select to:
•Select the item on the second line of the display
•Save the selection as a new default setting
Press Return to:
•Back up to the previous menu level
Press Stop to:
•Temporarily stop all print activity without losing data
Press Go to:
•Exit printer menus and return to the ready state
•Clear messages

1 Open the top duplex assembly door.
2 Carefully remove jammed paper.
3 Close the top duplex assembly door.

1 Open the rear cover.
2 Carefully remove any jammed paper.
3 Close the rear cover.
232 Paper Jam - Duplex Unit Base and
Tray
1 Completely remove duplex unit inverter tray.
2 Carefully remove jammed paper (check inside
duplex unit base).
3 Insert duplex unit inverter tray into duplex unit.

Clearing Printer Paper Jams
Clearing Duplex Unit Paper Jams
Important! Move the rear and side guides to properly position the
guides for the media size.
Note: Labels and card stock can only be used in the multipurpose
feeder. Transparencies can only be fed from the multipurpose feeder or
tray 1.
Important! Recommended Lexmark transparencies are P/N 12A5150
(letter) or P/N 12A5151 (A4).

1 Open the fuser cover, fuser door, and front cover.
2 Remove coating roll.
3 Carefully remove jammed paper.
4 Close the front cover, fuser door, and fuser cover.
Note: Paper jammed in the fuser rollers must be
removed from the underside of the fuser.

1 Open the front cover.
2 Carefully remove any jammed paper.
3 Close the front cover.
250 Paper Jam - Multipurpose Feeder
1 Open the front cover.
2 Carefully remove any jammed paper.

1 Remove the paper tray.
