The WLAN model (Lenovo YT3-850F) does not have a Micro SIM card slot. You can use pe ncils or m etal-ti pped pe ns with a tip d iamete r of 0.7 mm or above, includ ing fountain pe ns, rolle rball pens, and s ome ball point pens, to wri te and draw on the scr een or pe rfor m auxili ary tou ch oper ations. Preparing your tablet
You can use cellular services with the LTE model ( Lenovo YT3-850L/Lenovo YT3-850M ) by inserting the Micro SIM card provided by your carrier. Install the Micro SIM card and the microSD card as shown.
Step 1. Press the push button to open
the kickstand.
Step 2. Open the card slot cover.
Insert the Micro SIM card and
microSD card and then install
the card slot cover back.
Step 3. Push back the kickstand.
Only Micro SIM card works with your tablet.
!!! DO not insert or remove the Micro SIM card while your tablet is turned on. Doing
so can permanently damage your Micro SIM card or tablet.

Starting to use your tablet
Before using your tablet, you might need to charge the battery. Charge the battery as shown.
Connect your tablet to a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter.

Lenovo logo appears. Tur n off : Press and hold th e On/Off button f or a few secon ds, then ta p Power off. Restart: Press an d hold the O n/Off b utton fo r a few secon ds, then ta p Restart. To force resta rt you r tablet, press a nd hold th e power but ton unti l the tabl et vibra tes.
Taking screenshots
Press and hold the On/Off button and the volume down button at the same time.
Using the rotating camera
Allowa ble func tiona l range of th e rotatin g camer a is shown on t he left. Don't over-rot ate the cam era to avoid i ts dama ge.

Your device has a headphone connector. Always use the headphone connector for headphones (also called a headset) or earphones.

Excessive use of headphones or earphones for a long period of time at high volume can be dangerous if the output of the headphone or earphone connectors do not comply with specifications of EN 50332-2. The headphone output connector of your device complies with EN 50332-2 Sub clause 7. This sp ecific ation li mits the d evice's ma ximum w ide band t rue RMS output voltag e to 150 mV. To help prote ct agai nst hear ing los s, ensur e that the he adpho nes or earph ones you u se also c omply w ith EN 50332-2 (Cl ause 7 li mits) for a wi de band characteristic voltage of 75 mV. Using headphones that do not comply with EN 50332-2 can b e dange rous due to e xcessi ve sound p ressu re levels.
