Rotating camera
The WLAN model (Lenovo YT3-850F) does not have a Micro SIM card slot.
You can use pencils or metal-tip ped pen s with a tip diameter of 0.7 mm or above,
includ ing fountain pens, rolle rball pens, and some ball point pens, to write and draw
on the screen or perform a uxiliary touch operations. Special tip: There is a risk of
scratching the screen sli ghtly if you apply too much pressure w hen wri ting or us e
a pen tip that is too hard.
!!! Do not insert your finger into the hanging hole. Doing s o might hu rt your finger.

Preparing your tablet
You can use cellular services with the LTE model ( LenovoYT3-850L/Lenovo YT3-850M)
by inserting the Micro SIM card provided by your carrier.
Install the Micro SIM cardand the microSD cardas shown.
Step 1. Press the push button to open
the kickstand.
Step 2. Open the card slot cover.
Insert the Micro SIM card and
microSD card and then install
the card slot cover back.
Step 3. Push back the kickstand.
Only Micro SIM card works with your tablet.
!!! DO not insert or remove the Micro SIM card while your tablet is turned on. Doing
so can permanently damage your Micro SIM card or tablet.

Starting to use your tablet
Before using your tablet, you might need to charge the battery. Charge the battery as
shown.
Connect your tabletto a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter.

Turning on/off
Turn on: Press and hold th e On/Off button until the
Lenovo logo appears.
Tur n off : Press and hold the On/Off button for a few
seconds, then ta p Power off.
Restart: Press and hold the O n/Off button fo r a few
seconds, then ta p Restart. To force restart your tablet,
press and hold the power but ton until the tablet vibrates.
Taking screenshots
Press and hold the On/Off button and the volume down button at the same time.
Using the rotating camera
Allowable func tional range of the rotating camera is
shown on the left.
Don't over-rotate the camera to avoid its damag e.

Prevent hearing damage
Your device has a headphone connector. Always use the headphone connector for
headphones (also called a headset) or earphones.
CAUTION:
Excessive sound pressure fr om earphones and headphones can cause hearing
loss. Adjustment of the equalizer to ma ximum increases the earphone and
headphone output volt age and the sound pressure leve l. Ther efore, to protect
your hearing, adjust the equalizer to an appropriate level.
Excessive use of headphones or earphones for a long period of time at high volume
can be dangerous if the output of the headphone or earphone connectors do not
comply with specifications of EN 50332-2.
The headphone output connector of your device complies with EN 50332-2 Sub
clause 7. This specification limits the device's maximum wide band true RMS output
voltage to 150 mV. To help protect against hearing loss, ensure that the headphones or
earphones you use also comply wi th EN 50332-2 (Clause 7 limits) for a wide band
characteristic voltage of 75 mV. Using headphones that do not comply with
EN 50332-2 can be dangerous due to excessive sound pressure levels.

If your dev ice came with headphones or ear phones in the package, as a set, the
combination of the headphones or earphones and the device already complies with
the specifications of EN 50332-1. If different headphones or earphones are used,
ensure that they comply with EN 50332-1 (Clause 6.5 Limitation Values). Using
headph ones that do not com ply with EN 50332-1 can be dangerous due to excessive
sound pressure levels.
Sound pressure warning statement
For the dev ice that is tested in accorda nce with EN 60950 -1:
2006+A11:2009+A1:2010+A12:2011, it is mandator y to perform audio tests for
EN 503 32.
This dev ice has been teste d to comply with the Sound Pressure Level requirement laid
down in the a pplicable EN 50332-1 and/or EN 50332-2 standards. Permanent hearing
loss may occur if earphones or headphones are used at high volume for prolonged
periods of time.
