The ServeRAID M1015 adapter offers a RAID entry point for
businesses trying to protect their critical data while maintaining
performance and availability for network applications. Utilizing
6 Gbps Serial Attach SCSI (SAS) and PCI Express 2.0, the
ServeRAID M1015 offers the latest ServeRAID line of product
features, while continuing to support the benefits of the previous 3 Gbps SAS/SATA generation. These new ServeRAID
adapters, intended for inside-the-box connectivity, provide the
necessary data-protection performance for developing
IT infrastructures.
Flexible feature upgrade and migration
The ServeRAID M1015 controller is an affordable way for small
businesses to implement data protection and increase Read/
Write performance conveniently through RAID-0, -1 and -10. By
connecting the optional ServeRAID M1000 series Advanced
Feature Key to the controller, users will be able to achieve
RAID-5, -50 data protection and support for self-encrypting
drives. And in cases where the growing business demands
additional performance and/or protection, the M1015 controller
offers full upgradeability to the M5014 or M5015 controllers
without the need to rebuild the storage infrastructure. By
offering the Advanced Feature Key and Migration, the
M1015 provides the necessary flexibility for companies on
the rise.

Intuitive RAID management utility
MegaRAID Storage Manager provides the essential software
tools to efficiently manage ServeRAID products, whether
deployed in an enterprise or small business. This collection of
applications and tools includes a preboot setup utility and a full
spectrum of online RAID management utilities. The suite of
applications allow administrators to adjust SAS topology views
from the system host, controller and disk enclosure down to
the logical and physical drive level. Extending to enterprise
deployments, these tools scale to easily configure, monitor and
manage RAID volumes locally or over the LAN network.
