New IBM drives are supported for the System x® and BladeCenter® systems. These are the newest storage solutions for servers that need alternative optical drive capabilities.
Overview
New IBM® UltraSlim Enhanced SATA DVD-ROM and IBM UltraSlim Enhanced SATA Multi-Burner Drive for System x and BladeCenter servers
These new drives are positioned to allow a wider choice of drives for your IBM System x or BladeCenter system.
The new drives are:
• UltraSlim Enhanced SATA DVD-ROM (46M0901)
• UltraSlim Enhanced SATA Multi-Burner (46M0902)
