Keyboard function keys
By pressing the appropriate function keys, you can change system settings
instantly. To use this function, press and hold Fn , then press one of the
function keys .

The following describes the features of each function key.
Fn + Home: Activate the pause function.
Fn + End: Activate the break function.

Fn + PgUp: Enable/disable the scroll lock.
Fn + PgDn: Activate the system request function.
Fn + Space (on select models):
Turn on/off the keyboard backlight.

Hotkeys
Using hotkeys
You can access certain system settings quickly by pressing the appropriate function keys.
By pressing the appropriate hotkey, you can change system settings instantly. The following describes the function of each hotkey.
Mutes/unmutes the sound.

Setting hotkey mode
By default, the hotkey functions are accessible by pressing the appropriate hotkey. However, you can disable the hotkey mode in the BIOS setup utility. To disable the hotkey mode:

Shut down the computer.

Press the Novo button and then select BIOS Setup.

In the BIOS setup utility, open the Configuration menu, and change the setting of HotKey Mode from Enabled to Disabled.

Open the Exit menu, and select Exit Saving Changes.
Note: When hotkey mode is disabled, press the Fn key and the appropriate hotkey to access
the corresponding hotkey function.

When this setting is enabled, battery usage time of the computer will become shorter.
When the computer is off, press this button to open Novo button menu. From the Novo button menu, start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system or the BIOS setup utility, or enter the boot menu.
Dissipate internal heat.
Connects the computer to an Ethernet network.
Connects to external display devices.
Connects to devices with HDMI input such as a TV or a display.
Connects to USB devices. In BIOS Setup Utility, if Always on USB is set to Enabled, when your computer is powered off, the port can charge most currently sold external USB devices. You can set USB discharge until the remaining battery level to 30%, 40% or 50%.

The combo audio jack does not support conventional microphones.
The recording function may not be supported if third-party headphones or headsets are
connected, due to different industry standards.
