"BAD DISC" DISPLAYED
Ensure the disc is not warped, damaged or deformed. Ensure the disc is not badly stained or damaged. Ensure the disc format is compatible with the player.
Please check whether you have tried to play a software CD. If so, please restart the player.
NO PICTURE OR SOUND
Ensure the power button is on. Ensure the power outlet is operational. Ensure the power cord is not damaged. Ensure the power plug is connected firmly to the outlet.
"NO DISC" DISPLAYED
Ensure you have put the disc on the tray. Ensure the disc is not upside down. Ensure the disc is not distorted, stained or scratched.
Ensure the audio jacks are securely connected. Ensure the audio connector is not damaged. Ensure the volume is turned up in VOL/CH setup. Ensure you have set the player's AUDIO settings correctly. Ensure you have ENTERed the correct AV input for your TV. Ensure the audio is not set to mute.
POOR PICTURE OR SOUND
Ensure you have set the player's AUDIO settings correctly. Ensure the disc is not scratched or stained. Ensure the AV connector or the output terminal is not damaged.
Ensure the video jacks are securely connected. Ensure you have ENTERed the correct AV input for your TV. Ensure the video connector is not damaged. Ensure you have set the player's VIDEO settings correctly.
REMOTE NOT WORKING
Ensure the remote batteries are working. Point the remote control directly at the player's IR sensor. Remove any obstacles between the remote and the IR sensor.
UNIT NOT WORKING
Turn off the power, and then turn it on again.

7. Water and Moisture
Do not use this product near water for example, near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool; and the like.
8. Accessories
Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Portable Cart Warning
A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stop, excessive force, and uneven surface may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
10. Ventilation
Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions have been adhered to.
11. Power Sources
This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.
12. Grounding or Polarization This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

JPEG adoptting the most efficient compression is widely used as picture storage type flattened and stored format. Even if pictures are compressed 15-20 times. they still have good effect. Supported by most picture processing software, fit for picture storage, it has small data and easy use .This machine can read. JPEG­fomat-made picture CD disc. Press revelant number key to select picture display.
1.Put in disc correctly, the machine begins to search disc information.
2. Press number key to select picture.
3. It s efficient only in present picture when press number key.
Select to play by menu
1. Put in disc, machine searches disc information and main menu displays on screen. press number key from 1 to select picture. press play key to make sure.
2. Press direction key to select picture then press play key.
3. In condition of stop. press direction key to select other pictures.
4. In condition of stop. select the first line file item on the right. Then press play key, to return to upper menu.
OPERATION OF MP3 MPEG4 FUNCTION
MP3 is an audio compression mode using Level 3 of the international standard MPEG, whereby sound signal is compressed in a rate of 12:1. A MP3 disc can record music for play of over 600 minutes or record over 170 songs, rivaling CDs in sound quality. Divx-MPEG4 is a video encode using the international standard MPEG-4 and audio using MP3 format.
To play a MP3 or MPEG4 disc

When playing a MP3 disc, 2 files menus can be selected by pressing PROG key: File list, Folder.
1. FILE LIST It may select the files to be played by pressing UP DOWN arrow key combining with ENTER key, or using number keys and ENTER key to select directly. If the number input is out of the music number, "CURRENT TRACK NUMBER " will display on screen.
2. Folder Display menu first then press up down, left right arrow and ENTER key to select subdirectory and content.

14. Outdoor Antenna Grounding
If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the product, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Article 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provides information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antennadischarge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode. See figure below.

Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
20. Damage Requiring Service
Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: A)When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged, B)If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product, C)If the product has been exposed to rain or water, D)If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation, E)If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way. F)When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance this indicates a need for service.
21. Replacement Parts
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
22. Safety Check Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
23. Wall or Ceiling Mounting The product should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.

15. Lightning
For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power lines surges.

Power Lines An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
17. Overloading Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles, as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
18. Object and Liquid Entry
Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.

Using the Remote Control Point the remote control at the remote sensor in order for the player to function correctly. The remote will function to approximately 21' from the remote sensor at an angle of approximately 30 each direction. Note: Directing the remote sensor toward any light source, such as direct sunlight, may cause the unit to malfunction. Do not spill water or put wet items on the remote control. Never disassemble remote control.
BATTERIES INCORRECT USE OF BATTERIES MAY CAUSE THEM TO LEAK, CORRODE OR EXPLODE. Be sure to place the batteries in the correct direction. It is dangerous to charge/heat/open or short-circuit the batteries. Do not leave dead or expired batteries or mix old/new batteries. When not using the remote control for a long duration of time, remove the batteries. When operating range becomes reduced, replace all batteries with new, fresh ones. If leakage from the battery occurs, wipe the battery liquid from the battery compartment, then replace.

STEP 3 - Press the ENTER button on the front panel or remote con­trol. The player will automatical­ly read and identify the disc, and begin playback.
STEP 2 - Push OPEN either on the front panel or remote control. When the tray is opened, place the disc on the tray with the label side up. Push OPEN again to close the disc tray.
STEP 1 - Push POWER to start the player. The DVD logo appears on the TV screen.
Preparation before playing:
MODE function: Push the MODE button once, the combination icon shown in the display screen, then press up button, down button, you want then left button or right button select the function, press ENTER button the operation can be efficient.

During DVD or CD playback, press and hold to scan forward. The player will review the disc at 2, 4, 8 and 20 times normal speed as follows:

Press the SETUP button on the remote controller,system SETUP MENU (main) will be displayed. The disc will ask you to enter the PIN. Simply enter "8888" It is the manufacturer's preset value.
1. After accessing the SETUP Menu, press the direction buttons for up and down movement to select an item desired, then press the ENTER button to confirm your entry and move to the sub-menu. Use the left and right direction buttons to move the pointer, and the up and down direction butto ns to sele ct the option desired. Also, press the ENTER button to confirm your selection. Now, setup of this current function is completed.
2. To end the setup, press the SETUP button again. In the SETUP MENU, you may choose any of the following options as you like.
1.1 GENERAL SETUP This option is used to set up TV screen format, video functions and DVD functions. With options of TV Display” “Angle Mark” “OSD Lang” “SPDIF Output” “Captions”

Note:
1). Irrespective of what screen format you have selected, if your screen displays in 4:3 format, the picture will be shown in that format anyway.
2). For DVDs, the screen format is convertible.
3). If your screen displays in 4:3 format, when a DVD with 16:9 display format is used, the picture will be flattened.
1.1.2 Angle mark When a DVD providing multiple angles is used, the user may select a particular shooting angle. Follow the operating instructions stated in "DVD MENU SETUP" in combination with the desired option in the following figure.
1.1.3. SCREEN LANGUAGE The user may use this item to set the language of the setup menu and screen display to English, French, Spanish, Germen, Dutch.
