Notes:
Choose the mounting location where
the unit will not interfere with the normal driving function of the driver.
Before finally installing the unit, connect
the wiring temporarily and make sure it is all connected up properly and the unit and the system work properly.
Use only the parts included with the
unit to ensure proper installation. The use of unauthorized parts can cause malfunctions.
Consult with your nearest dealer if
installation requires the drilling of holes or other modifications of the vehicle.
Install the unit where it does not get in
the driver’s way and cannot injure the
passenger if there is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.
If installation angel exceeds 30°from
horizontal, the unit might not give its optimum performance.
Avoid installing the unit where it would
be subject to high temperature, such as from direct sunlight, or from hot air, from the heater, or where it would be subject to dust, dirt or excessive vibration.
DIN FRONT/REAR-MOUNT
This unit can be properly installed either
from “Front” (conventional DIN Front-mount) or “Rear” (DIN Rear-mount installation,
utilizing threaded screw holes at the sides of the unit chassis). For details, refer to the following illustrated installation methods.
DIN FRONT-MOUNT (Method A)
Installation Opening This unit can be installed in any dashboard having an opening as shown below:
Installing the unit Be sure you test all connections first, and then follow these steps to install the unit.
1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, and then disconnect the cable from the vehicle batterys negative (-) terminal.
2. Disconnect the wire harness and the antenna.
3. Press the release button on the front panel and remove the control panel (see the steps of removing the front panel”).
4. Lift the top of the outer trim ring then pull it out to remove it.
5. The two supplied keys release tabs inside the units sleeve so you can remove it. Insert the keys as far as
they will go (with the notches facing up) into the appropriate slots at the middle left and right sides of the unit. Then slide the sleeve off the back of the unit.

6. Mount the sleeve by inserting the sleeve
into the opening of the dashboard and
bend open the tabs located around the
sleeve with a screwdriver. Not all tabs
will be able to make contact, so
examine which ones will be most
effective. Bending open the appropriate
tabs behind the dashboard to secure
the sleeve in place.

7. Reconnect the wire harness and the
antenna and be careful not to pinch any
wires or cables.
8. Slide the unit into the sleeve until it
locks into place.
9. To further secure the unit, use the
supplied metal strap to secure the
back of the unit in place. Use the
supplied hardware (Hex Nut (M5mm)
and Spring Washer) to attach one end of
the strap to the mounting bolt on the back
of the unit. If necessary, bend the metal
strap to fit your vehicle’s mounting area.
Then use the supplied hardware
(Tapping Screw (5x25mm) and Plain
Washer) to attach the other end of metal
strap to a solid metal part of the vehicle
under the dashboard. This strap also
helps ensure proper electrical grounding
of the unit.
Note to install the short threading
terminal of the mounting bolt to the back
of the unit and the other long threading
Terminal to the dashboard.

10. Reconnect the cable to the vehicle
battery’s negative (-) terminal. Then
replace the outer trim ring and install the
unit’s front panel (see the steps of
“installing the front panel”).
Removing the unit
1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, then
disconnect the cable from the vehicle
battery’s negative (-) terminal.
2. Remove the metal strap attached the
back of the unit (if attached).
3. Press the release button to remove the
front panel.
4. Lift the top of the outer trim ring then pull
it out to remove it.
5. Insert both of the supplied keys into the
slots at the middle left and right sides of
the unit, then pull the unit out of the
dashboard.
DIN REAR-MOUNT (Method B)
If your vehicle is a Nissan, Toyota, follow these mounting instructions.Use the screw holes marked T (Toyota), N (Nissan) located on both sides of the unit to

INSTALLATION
fasten the unit to the factory radio mounting brackets supplied with your vehicle.
To fasten the unit to the factory radio mounting brackets. Align the screw holes on the bracket with the screw holes on the unit, and then tighten the screws (5x5mm) on each side. Note: the outer trim ring, sleeve and the metal strap are not used for method B installation.

USING THE DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL
REMOVING THE FRONT PANEL
1. Press the release button ( ) on the front panel and pull off the front panel.
2. Keep front panel into the case.
INSTALLING THE FRONT PANEL
To install the front panel, insert the panel into the housing and make sure the panel is properly installed. Otherwise, abnormality occurs on the display or some keys will not function properly.
Precautions when handling
1. Do not drop the front panel.
2. Do not put pressure on the display or control buttons when removing or installing the front panel.
3. Do not touch the contacts on the front panel or on the main unit body. It may result in poor electrical contact.
4. If any dirt or foreign substances adhered on the contacts, they can be removed with a clean and dry cloth.
5. Do not expose the front panel to high temperatures or direct sunlight in anywhere.
6. Keep away any volatile agents (e.g. benzene, thinner, or insecticides) from touching the surface of the front panel
7. Do not attempt to disassemble the front panel.

OPERATION
SWITCHING ON/OFF THE UNIT
Press PWR button (2) to turn on the unit. When the unit is on. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off the unit.
FACEPLATE RELEASE
Press release button (19) to detach the removable faceplate.
SOUND ADJUSTMENT
Press SEL button (3) shortly to select the desired adjustment mode. The adjustment mode will be changed in the following order:
BAS-TRE-BAL-FAD-BEEP-EQ- LOUD-LOC-STEREO
-AF- REG -TA-TA VOL -EON-VOL

By rotating the audio knob (3) it is possible to adjust the desired sound quality.
LOUDNESS FUNCTION
In LOUD item you can turn on/off loudness function.
LOC on/off
In this item rotating the audio knob (3) to turn on/off local function. In LOC ON mode the unit will reduce the receiving sensitivity when you search station. That means you can receive the station that sound is good. It will ignores the station that sound is not good. In LOC OFF mode it will increase the receiving sensitivity when you search the station. That means you can receive more
stations. STEREO/MONO function
Press SEL knob several times till appear STEREO. Rotating the audio knob (3) to select STEREO or MONO mode. In STEREO mode you can receive FM stereo signal. In MONO mode the stereo station will be switched to monochrome. Sometimes when the signal is not good. If you change it to MONO mode. The noise will be reduced.
TA volume
This function allows you to define the minimum volume for the traffic announcements. The adjustable range is 20~43. The defaulted value is 26. Rotating the volume knob to adjust the volume of the traffic.
DISPLAY INFORMATION
Press DISP button (17) to show the time for several seconds. After several seconds it will return to show the information.
SET THE TIME
Press and hold DISP button for 2 seconds. The hour of the time will be flashing. Press
/ button to set the correct hour. Press DISP button shortly to change to minute. Also use / button to set the correct minute. After that press SEL button to confirm.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY Exhibit current frequency and activated
functions on the display .
AUXILIARY INPUT
The unit can be connected to a portable audio player through the AUX IN jack (7).
RESET FUNCTION RESET button (8) must be activated with
either a ballpoint pen or thin metal object. The RESET button is to be activated for the following reasons:
- Initial installation of the unit when all
wiring is completed.
- All the function buttons do not operate.

- Error symbol on the display. Note: if press RESET button (8), the unit
can’t work yet, please use a cotton swab
soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean the socket on the front panel.
RADIO OPERATION
SWITCHING TO RADIO MODE
Press MOD button (2) to select radio mode, the radio mode appears in the display together with the memory band and frequency.
SELECTING THE FREQUENCY BAND
At radio mode, press BAND button (16) shortly to select the desired band. The reception band will change in the following order:
→FM1→ FM2→ FM3
SELECTING STATION
Press button (18) or button (1) shortly to activate automatic seek function. It will search up/down a station automatically. Press for 2 seconds until “MANUAL” appears on the display, the manual tuning mode is selected. In this mode you can turn up/down a step frequency one by one till searched a station. If both buttons have not been pressed for 5 seconds, it will return to seek tuning mode and AUTO” appears on the display.
AUTOMATIC MEMORY STORING &
PROGRAM SCANNING
- Automatic memory storing Press AS/PS button (4) for several seconds, the radio searches from the
87.5 MHz frequency and checks the signal strength until one cycle search is finished. And then some strong
stations are stored into the corresponding preset number button.
- Program scanning Press AS/PS button (4) shortly to scan preset station. The radio is holding at that preset number for several seconds with release mute, then searches again.
MANUALLY STORING STATION AND
RECALL PRESET STATION
To receive a station, Press one of the preset button(1~6) for 2 seconds. The current station is stored into the number button. Shortly press the preset button (1~6) to directly listen the station that saved in the corresponding preset button.
RDS(RADIO DATA SYSTEM) OPERATION
- Setting RDS mode In AF item of the SEL menu. Rotating the audio knob (3) to switch on or off the AF function. Whenever AF is on, symbol “AF appears on the display. Program name is displayed on receiving a RDS station.
AF” starts blinking if the broadcasting
signal getting worse.
ALARM” will be displayed when an
emergency broadcasting is received, meanwhile sound output level will be adjusted to the preset output level automatically when the volume control is set at minimum.
- Regional Program Operation When AF function is on. In REG item of the SEL menu. Rotating the audio knob (3) to switch on or off the region mode. Some broadcasting stations change their program from normal broadcasting to regional broadcasting for a certain time period. When region is on, the current listening program remains

unchanged. When region is off, it allows the reception moves to the regional station.
- Listening to Traffic Announcement In TA item of the SEL menu. Rotating the
audio knob (3) to switch on or off the TA function. When TA mode is on and a traffic announcement is transmitted:
When the unit was in MP3 or AUX IN mode, it will switch temporarily to radio
mode. Temporary switch over to an EON linked station when EON detects a traffic announcement on that other program. If the volume level was under the threshold point it will be raised to the threshold point. But the user changed the volume level, which was more than the threshold point (min. TA volume level), it will be set to the last level. In TA item of the SEL menu. By rotating the audio knob (3), TA mode is on, TA of individual segment is turned on. When a TP station is received, TP of individual segment is turned on. TA interruption function
The current traffic announcement is cancelled by turn the TA function to STOP (in TA item of SEL menu, when the TA station is not received it only has on/off. But when received a TA station the TA item will have on/stop/off for your selection). But the TA mode will not be off. which EON TA information was received from current station and the radio switched to that EON linked station, but no Information could not be received because the EON linked station is located too far from that area. So the radio is switched back to current station again. In above operation, a customer listens to a wrong program or mute sound for a while. RDS data used are the PI, PS, AF, TP, TA, EON and PTY data.

Information Broadcasting information on PI, AF, TP, TA, etc, relating to networks other than the network used for current reception. In SEL menu when turn the TA to off will turn off the TA funcion.
Using PTY to Select Program
Press and hold PTY button (16) for 2 seconds. It shows the PTY kinds on the display. Then press preset button(1~6). You can select the program type as below. After several seconds it will searching automatically. 1# button: NEWS/AFFAIR/INFO 2# button: EDUCATIO/DRAMA/SPORT 3# button: VARIED/CULTURE/SCIENCE 4# button: FINANCE/CHILD REN/WEATHER 5# button: PHONE IN/SOCIAL/RELIGION 6# button: TRAVEL/LEISURE/DOCUMENT
Press and hold PTY button (16) 2 times. Then press preset button(1~6). You can select the program type as below: 1# button: ROCK M /POP M 2# button: LIGHT M/EASY M 3# button: OTHER M/CLASSICS 4# button: COUNTRY/JAZZ 5# button: NATION ML/OLDIES

USB PLAY OPERATION
In the front panel of the unit, there is an USB interface (6). You can connect an USB driver through this interface (6).
When you connect an USB driver through the interface, the unit will search the MP3 /WMA files in the USB driver and start to play. If in other mode, you can also press MOD button (2) to select USB mode. It supports the MP3/WMA file in the device.
The operation please refer to the following instruction.
SELECTING TRACKS
Press button (1) or button (18) to move to the previous file or the following file. File number shows on display. Hold button (1) or button (18) to fast reverse or fast forward. Playing starts from when you release the button.
PAUSING PLAYING
Press button (15) to pause playing. Press it again to resume play.
PREVIEWING ALL FILES
Press INT button (14) to play first several seconds of each file. Press again to stop intro and resume play.
REPEATING THE SAME FILE
Press RPT button (13) to continuously repeat the same file. Press it again to repeat all the files.
PLAYING ALL FILES IN RANDOM Press RDM button (12) to play all files in random order. Press again to cancel the function.
SELECTING DIRECTORY UP/DOWN
Press DIR-button (11) or DIR+ button (10) to select directory downward or upward. If the USB does not contain any directory,
there is no function of pressing DIR- button (11) or DIR+ button (10).
SELECTING FILES BY AS/PS BUTTON
Press AS/PS button. It is activated the “Search file number mode. Rotating knob (3) to select the file number then press knob (3) to confirm. The unit searches the selected file to play. You also can select the file by following direct numeric buttons:
DISP: 0. If the file number was selected. The unit wait for knob (3) for seconds. The unit searches the file after few seconds, even if the knob (3) button is not pressed.
SD OPERATION
There is a SD interface (9) on the front panel of the unit. When you insert a SD card in the SD interface, the unit will search the MP3 files or WMA files in the card and start to play automatically. The operation is the same with the USB play operation described above. If in other mode, you can also press MOD button (2) to select SD mode.
CAUTION
When there are important files in the USB Device or SD card, do not connect it to the main unit to play, because any wrong operation may cause files loss. And our company assumes no responsibility for this.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Opmerkingen:
Kies een montageplek waar het
apparaat het normale rijgedrag van de bestuurder niet zal verstoren.
Sluit de bedrading eerst tijdelijk aan,
zorg ervoor dat alles goed is aangesloten en het apparaat en het systeem naar behoren werken, voordat u de radio definitief installeert.
Gebruik voor de juiste installatie alleen
de onderdelen die met het apparaat zijn meegeleverd. Het gebruik van niet goedgekeurde onderdelen kan tot storingen leiden.
Neem contact op met uw
dichtstbijzijnde dealer als de installatie het boren van gaten of andere wijzigingen aan het voertuig vereist.
Installeer het toestel waar het niet in de
weg van de bestuurder zit en het de passagier niet kan verwonden bij een plotselinge stop, zoals een noodstop.
Als de installatiehoek meer dan 30° uit
het horizontale vlak is, kan het zijn dat het apparaat niet optimaal presteert.
Installeer het toestel niet op plaatsen
waar het bloot staat aan hoge temperaturen, zoals direct zonlicht, hete lucht, de verwarming, of waar het wordt blootgesteld aan stof, vuil of overmatige trillingen.
DIN MONTAGE VOOR-/ACHTERZIJDE
Dit toestel kan goed worden geïnstalleerd aan de “voorkant” (conventionele DIN-voorkantmontage) of “achterkant” (DIN achterzijde-installatie, via de schroefgaten aan de zijkanten van het chassis). Voor meer informatie, zie de volgende geïllustreerde installatie-methoden.
DIN MONTAGE VOORKANT (methode A)
Installatie-Opening
Dit toestel kan in elk dashboard met een opening zoals hieronder weergegeven, worden geïnstalleerd:
Het Toestel Installeren
Zorg ervoor dat u eerst alle aansluitingen test en volg dan deze stappen om het toestel te installeren.
1. Zorg ervoor dat het contact is
uitgeschakeld en ontkoppel de kabel van de negatieve pool (-) van de accu.
2. Ontkoppel de kabelboom en de
antenne.
3. Druk op de ontgrendelknop op het
frontpaneel en verwijder het bedieningspaneel (zie de stappen “HET FRONTPANEEL VERWIJDEREN”).
4. Til de bovenkant van de buitenste
sierring omhoog en trek het eruit om het te verwijderen.
5. Steek de twee lipjes van de bijgeleverde
sleutels in de slede van het toestel, zodat u deze kunt verwijderen. Steek de sleutels (met inkepingen omhoog) zo ver mogelijk in de juiste sleuven, in het midden links en rechts van het toestel. Schuif daarna de slede van de achterkant van het toestel.

6. Monteer de slede door deze in de opening van het dashboard te schuiven en buig de lipjes rondom in de slede met een schroevendraaier naar buiten. Niet alle lipjes zullen in staat zijn contact te maken, dus onderzoek welke het meest effectief zullen zijn. Buig de juiste lipjes achter het dashboard naar buiten om ervoor te zorgen dat de slede op zijn plaats zit.
7. Sluit de kabelboom en de antenne
opnieuw aan en wees voorzichtig, zodat er geen draden of kabels bekneld raken.
8. Schuif het toestel in de slede, totdat hij
vastklikt.
9. Gebruik de meegeleverde metalen strip
om het toestel aan de achterkant verder op zijn plaats vast te zetten. Gebruik het meegeleverde materiaal (zeskantige moer (M5) en veerring) om een einde van de strip te bevestigen aan de bevestigingsbout aan de achterkant van het toestel. Indien nodig, buig de metalen strip, zodat het past in de montageplek van uw auto. Maak dan gebruik van het meegeleverde materiaal (de zelftappende schroef (5x25mm) en sluitring) om het andere uiteinde van de metalen strip aan een degelijk metalen deel van het voertuig onder het dashboard te bevestigen. Deze strip helpt ook de juiste elektrische aarding van het toestel te waarborgen.
Let erop de korte kant van de bevestigingsbout in de achterkant van
het toestel te monteren en de lange kant aan het dashboard.
10. Sluit de kabel weer aan op de negatieve pool (-) van de accu. Zet de buitenste sierring weer terug en installeer het frontpaneel van het toestel (zie de stappen “INSTALLATIE VAN HET FRONTPANEEL”).
Verwijderen Van Het Toestel
1. Zorg ervoor dat het contact is
uitgeschakeld en maak daarna de kabel van de negatieve pool (-) van de accu los.
2. Verwijder de metalen strip die aan de
achterkant van het toestel is bevestigd (indien bevestigd).
3. Druk op de ontgrendelknop om het
frontpaneel te verwijderen.
4. Til de bovenkant van de buitenste
sierring omhoog en trek het eruit om het te verwijderen.
5. Steek de meegeleverde sleutels allebei
in de gleuven in het midden links en rechts van het toestel en trek het toestel uit het dashboard.

DIN MONTAGE ACHTERKANT (methode B)
Als uw auto een Nissan of Toyota is, volg dan deze montage-instructies. Gebruik de gemerkte schroefgaten T (Toyota) of N (Nissan) die zich aan beide zijden van het toestel bevinden om het toestel aan de vanuit de fabriek met uw voertuig meegeleverde radiomontagebeugels vast te zetten.

Om het toestel aan de radiomontagebeugels van de fabriek te bevestigen.
Lijn de schroefgaten op de beugel uit met de schroefgaten op het toestel. Draai daarna de schroeven (5x5mm) aan elke kant vast.
Opmerking: de buitenste sierring, de slede en de metalen strip worden voor de installatie volgens methode B niet gebruikt.

HET FRONTPANEEL VERWIJDEREN
1. Druk op de ontgrendelknop (
) op het
frontpaneel en trek het frontpaneel eraf.
2. Houd het frontpaneel in de behuizing.
INSTALLATIE VAN HET FRONTPANEEL
Om het frontpaneel te installeren, plaatst u het paneel in de behuizing en zorgt u ervoor dat het paneel goed is geïnstalleerd. Anders komt er onzin op het scherm of sommige toetsen werken niet juist.
Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij het werk
1. Laat het frontpaneel niet vallen.
2. Oefen geen druk uit op het scherm of
op de knoppen bij het verwijderen of installeren van het frontpaneel.
3. Raak de contactpunten op het
frontpaneel of op de behuizing van het toestel niet aan. Dit kan leiden tot een slecht elektrisch contact.
4. Als er vuil of vreemde stoffen op de
contacten komt, kunnen ze met een schone en droge doek worden verwijderd.
5. Stel het frontpaneel nergens bloot aan
hoge temperaturen of direct zonlicht.
6. Houd vluchtige stoffen (bijvoorbeeld
benzeen, thinner of insecticiden) weg van het oppervlak van het frontpaneel
7. Probeer het frontpaneel niet te
demonteren.

TOESTEL AAN-/UITSCHAKELEN
Druk op de PWR-knop (2) om het toestel aan te zetten. Wanneer het toestel is ingeschakeld. Houd 2 seconden ingedrukt om het toestel uit te schakelen.
VOORKANT LOSMAKEN
Druk op de ontgrendel knop (19) om de verwijderbare voorkant los te maken.
GELUIDSINSTELLINGEN
Druk kort op de SEL-knop (3) om de juiste instelling te selecteren. De instellingsmodus zal in de volgende volgorde worden gewijzigd:

Het is mogelijk de gewenste geluidskwaliteit aan te passen door te draaien aan de audioknop (3).
LOUD-functie
Via het LOUD-item kunt u de geluidssterkte-functie in- of uitschakelen.
LOKAAL aan/uit
In dit item draait u aan de audio-knop (3) om de lokaal-functie aan/uit te zetten. In de LOKAAL AAN-modus zal het toestel de ontvangstgevoeligheid verminderen, terwijl u een station zoekt. Dat betekent dat u het station ontvangt met de beste geluidskwaliteit. Stations met slecht geluid
zal het negeren. IIn de LOKAAL UIT-modus zal het toestel de ontvangstgevoeligheid verhogen, terwijl u een station zoekt. Dat betekent dat u meer zenders kunt ontvangen.
STEREO/MONO-functie
Druk meerdere keren op de SEL-knop, totdat “STEREO” verschijnt. Draai aan de audio-knop (3) om de STEREO- of MONO-modus te selecteren. In de STEREO-modus kunt u een FM-stereosignaal ontvangen. In de MONO-modus zal de stereozender worden omgezet naar mono. Wanneer het signaal soms niet goed is. Als u het in de MONO-modus verandert. De ruis wordt verminderd.
TA-volume
Met deze functie kunt u het minimale volume voor de verkeersinformatie definiëren. Het instelbare bereik is 20 tot
43. De standaardwaarde is 26. Draai aan de volumeknop om het volume van de verkeersinformatie in te stellen.
DISPLAY-INFORMATIE
Druk op de DISP-knop (17) om de tijd enkele seconden weer te geven. Na een aantal seconden zal terugkeren om de informatie weer te geven.
STEL DE TIJD IN
Houd de DISP-knop 2 seconden ingedrukt. Het uur van de tijd zal knipperen. Druk op de / knop om het juiste uur in te stellen. Druk kort op de DISP-knop om over te schakelen naar de minuten. Gebruik ook de / knop om de juiste minuut in te stellen. Druk daarna op de SEL-knop om te bevestigen.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Toont de huidige frequentie en de geactiveerde functies op het scherm.
AUX-INGANG
Het toestel kan via de AUX-INGANG-jack (7) worden aangesloten op een draagbare audiospeler.
