Additional Specification Instruction Manual
Verses the standard LV 5700A/5710A, the following features is added in this product specification.
Other specification, please refer to the standard instruction manual.
1. Product specification
1.1 Overview
Verses the standard LV 5700A/5710A, SDI input module is added to this product specification.
Standard LV 5710A is a dedicated HD-SDI unit and the added module 2 compliant HD-SDI and
SD-SDI. In combine with standard module 1 and added module 2, total of 4 SDI input connectors
are available. And also, the output connectors contain each HD and SD re-clocked active output of
selected input channel of each module.
Module 1 and module 2 error can be monitored at the same time. However, the error setting at
module 1 and 2 is not common.

2. SDI input signal selection
2.1 Module selection
SDI input module is selectable using the Module key (MODULE).
Module 1 SDI signal output connector (SDI OUTPUT) and Module 2 SDI signal output connector
(SDI OUTPUT) output the selected SDI input signal regardless of the module selection.
2.2 SDI input selection
SDI input channels of each module can be switchover using the SDI signal input selection key
(SDI).
Since selected channel is stored by each module, please select the module and then switchover the
channel.
2.3 Format selection
Manual format setting from the SYSTEM menu can be set for each module.
Conduct a format setting when module 1 is selected, format of module 1 is set, conduct a format
setting when module 2 is selected, format of module 2 is set. Hereafter, the format is automatically
changed corresponding to the module changed.

3. Error monitor
3.1 Status display
By installing the OP72, module 1 signal and module 2 signal are monitored simultaneously.
However, regarding the gamut error and composite gamut error, only the selected module is
monitored.
Status screen and status display menu is displayed by pressing the status key (STATUS).
The status of the selected module is displayed.
Since signal monitoring is conducted by each module, error occurred condition and error count is
conducted by each module separately.
3.2 Error log
By installing the OP72, module 1 signal and module 2 signal are monitored simultaneously.
However, regarding the gamut error and composite gamut error, only the selected module is
monitored.
The error log of the selected module log is displayed.
Since signal monitoring is conducted by each module, the log of the error occurred condition is
conducted by each module separately.
