Installation Instructions for

GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION
This product is suitable for damp locations.
This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer.
This instruction shows a typical installation.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed in accordance with
the applicable installation code by a person familiar
with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved.
Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Mount the mounting plate to the electrical box with
the two #8-32 screws.

Remove the mounting plate from the canopy by
unscrewing the two cap nuts from the two threaded
studs.

Shorten the Pendants (optional)
Install the Fixture

RELIEF

Disconnect all of the wire connections.

Loosen the set screw on all 3 strain(Do Not Remove)
reliefs.

Adjust each fixture’s height (from bottom of the fixture
shade to top of the canopy) by pulling the cords up trough
the canopy while pushing them through from the stem.

When desired height is achieved, tighten the set screws
on the strain .reliefs

Leave 6" of the cord behind the canopy for power
connections. Cut the excess cord.

From the end of the cord, strip the insulation 4" using a
sharp knife. .Make sure not to nick the inner wires

Connect the mounting plate ground wire to a suitable
ground in accordance with local electrical codes.

Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line
wire with a wire nut.

Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line
wire with a wire nut.

Strip the end of the wires.

Reconnect the wires to their original connections.

Install the Shade

Properly place all wires and wire nut connections into
the canopy.

Mount the fixture by reinstalling it onto the mounting
plate and secure it tightly with the cap nuts.

Expose the socket by raising the outer shade.

Raise the inner shade and feed the cord through until

the socket is exposed at the bottom.

Screw the collar nut onto the socket until only a couple
threads remain.

Gently lower both shades until they rest properly on the
socket.

Repeat for each pendant.

Install the Lamp

LAMP
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of a burn or electric
shock during relamping, disconnect the power to
the fixture.
Use 120 voltMAX 75 Watt
Type A19 Medium Base Lamp.

Reach inside the inner shade and screw the lamp into
the socket.

Repeat for each pendant.
