GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION:
This product is suitable for damp locations.
This product can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE
This product requires installation by a qualified
electrician. Before installing be sure to read all
instructions and TURNTHE POWER TO THE
ELECTRICAL BOX OFF.

Assemble the Fixture

Gently place the glass shade into the center of the
fixture frame until it is rested in position..
Prepare the Canopy

Separate the mounting plate from the canopy by
removing all four screws with the Allen wrench

Secure the mounting plate assembly to the electrical box
with the two provided #8-32 screws.

Install the fixture
NOTE: Make sure to support the fixture while
adjusting the aircraft cables. An assistant is
recommended to complete the remaining steps.

Feed the aircraft cables through the cable clutch in the
canopy.

Evenly pull the aircraft cable up through the canopy to
raise the fixture to the desired length.
Cut off the excess aircraft cable leaving enough for fine

leveling later.

Strip the cable behind the canopy, and strip the ends of
the inner wires.
Install the Canopy

STRAIN RELIEF
NOTE: The power cord does not support the fixture.
For a casual “lazy cord” look, cut the power cord
several inches longer that the drop height of the
fixture.
Note: Taping down the frayed end of the cloth cord
may assist in feeding it through the strain relief.

Connect the mounting plate bare wire and the fixture

wire with the green strip to a suitable ground in
accordance with local electrical codes.

Connect the wire with the white strip to the neutral
power line wire with a wire nut.

If necessary loosen the set screw and feed the power
cord through the canopy.

Once the desired length and look is determined, tighten
the set screw on the strain relief.
Leave 6 inches of cord behind the canopy and cut off

the extra cord.

Connect the remaining wire to the hot power line wire
with a wire nut.
