IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
- Read all instructions carefully before use.
- Retain manuals for future reference.
- Use this product only in the manner described.
- Only use a water-dampened soft-cloth to clean the surface of this product.
- Electronic devices should be used in well ventilated areas and not exposed to excess vibration.
- The following will damage this product: any liquid such as water or moisture, extreme heat; cold; humidity, dusty or sandy environments.
- Only place this device on stable surfaces and ensure that any attached cables are secure and will not cause the device to fall.
- If this product has re-moveable batteries or a power cord, remove or disconnect them before long periods of in-active use. Removing the batteries prevents damage due to leakage. Always insert batteries according to the + and - signs and replace both batteries with the same type at the same time.
- There are no user serviceable parts in this product.
- Un-authorized attempts to dismantle or repair this product will void product warranty and may result in dangerous electric shock.
- Remove any power or data cords by pulling them from the plug and not the cord.
- Using this device near other electronic devices may cause interference.
- Do not use this product in electrical storms.

OPERATION
Connecting for the first time
Connect the AC power adaptor to your mains power socket, then connect the other end of the adaptor to the DC IN socket on the rear of the unit
Switch the power button to ON, on the rear of the unit Press the POWER/MODE button to power the unit on. The screen will now be illuminated (If you
press and hold the POWER/MODE again, the unit can be turned off and the screen will dim. This is called stand-by mode)
While the unit is turned on, the POWER/MODE button can be pressed to scroll through various audio input modes, which are: iPod/iPhone, FM Radio and Auxiliary audio (AUX)
About Backup Batteries
Batteries can be used to back up your clock and alarm settings in the event of a power failure or if the unit is unplugged temporarily
The LCD screen will remain off during this time. Other features such as the alarm can not be used at this point
Make sure the connection between the AC adapter and the unit is secure, otherwise your settings can be lost if the batteries are removed
Installing Backup Batteries
Locate and open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit Insert 2 x AAA batteries, following the correct polarity (+ / -) drawings on the inside the battery
compartment
Standby mode
Press and hold the POWER/MODE button until the display screen dims Note: After a period of no activity the screen will automatically dim
Set the Clock automatically
Simply dock your iPhone to automatically update the time from your iPhone Note: This usually takes about 5 seconds
Set the Clock manually
From the standby mode, press the MENU button. The display will begin flashing

Press the DOWN button to increase the HOURS. Press the UP button to increase the MINUTES To confirm your selected time, press the MENU button to confirm
Changing between 12 and 24 hour time
From the AUX mode, press and hold the SHHH button until the screen starts flashing Press the SHHH button to toggle between 12 and 24 hour time Once your selection has been made, the unit will automatically save your settings after 5 seconds. Note: The device should be removed from the AUX jack during this operation
Setting the Alarm - Alarm 1
Note: This unit has 2 alarm setting s that can be used, for example, if two people need to use the same clock or if you need two different reminders thorough out the day or night.
Press and hold the POWER/MODE button to enter the stand-by mode Press and hold the VOL- button for three seconds until the ALARM 1 icon starts flashing Press the DOWN button to increase the hours. Press the UP button to increase the minutes Press the MENU button to confirm Now press the VOL- button to choose your wake up sound (BUZZER, AUX or your iPod/iPhone. No
icon means the alarm is cancelled) After 5 seconds your wake up sound icon will be saved and then disappear from the screen. 5
seconds after this time, the screen will then automatically dim
Setting the Alarm - Alarm 2
Press and hold the POWER/MODE button to enter the stand-by mode Press and hold the VOL+ button for three seconds until the ALARM 2 icon starts flashing Press the DOWN button to increase the hours. Press the UP button to increase the minutes Press the MENU button to confirm Now press the VOL+ button to choose your wake up sound (BUZZER, AUX or your iPod/iPhone. No
icon means the alarm is cancelled) Press the MENU button to confirm. The screen will then stop flashing After 5 seconds your wake up sound icon will be saved and then disappear from the screen. 5
seconds after this time, the screen will then automatically dim

Snooze
SNOOZE your alarm sound for 8 minutes by pressing the SHHH button The ZZZ icon will then be displayed on the screen and your selected alarm icon will start flashing Each time the alarm re-sounds, pressing the SHHH button will continue to delay the alarm for a
further 8 minutes, until the alarm is cancelled Note 1: If you have selected to be woken up with your iPod/iPhone but have not docked it, you will
be woken by the buzzer sound by default Note 2: In order to wake to your iPod/iPhone, it must be docked and any audio must be paused
(turned off). If your device is left in the play mode, no alarm will sound at all
Turning an alarm off
Press any button except the SHHH button
Cancel and Alarm
From the standby mode, press the relative VOL- or VOL+ button according to your alarm setting you wish to cancel, until the alarm icon disappears from the LCD display
Listening to your iPod/iPhone
Simply dock your iPod/iPhone and your music player will start after 5 seconds. Operate your iPod/iPhone normally from this point
The volume can be adjusted by pressing the VOL+ and VOL- on your dock To go to the next or previous track, use the UP arrow or DOWN arrows To fast forward or rewind, press and hold the UP or DOWN buttons while the track is playing
Listening to other Auxiliary MP3 devices
Connect the device to the 3.5mm jack at the rear of the unit and ensure that the AUX mode is selected using the POWER/MODE button
Play/operate the MP3 device as normal
Listening to FM Radio
Ensure that the antenna wire at the rear of the unit is fully extended Do not obstruct or otherwise tamper with the antenna Some positioning of the antenna cable maybe required for optimum reception

Press the POWER/MODE button until the Radio icon appears on the LCD screen Tune in the desired station by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons To skip to the next station in your reception range, press and hold the button until the numbers start
scrolling (called auto scan)
Save your favourite radio stations
While in RADIO mode, press and hold the MENU button until the MEM icon flashes on the screen Then press the UP or DOWN buttons to select from 10 favourite presets After 5 seconds your settings will be automatically saved
Listening to your saved stations
From the radio mode, press the MENU button The MEM icon will be lit and the display will show a P with a number next to it Scroll through your preset stations by pressing the MENU button Once you have reached your station preset number, the selected station will automatically start
playing
NAP mode
Press the SHHH button while listening to your iPod/iPhone, Radio or AUX device Scroll through and choose from 90 mins down to 10 mins The SLEEP icon will then appear The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time To adjust the sleep time, press the SHHH button again and choose from 10 to 90 minutes To cancel the sleep time, keep pressing the SHHH button until the word OFF appears

TROUBLE SHOOTING / Q & A
My iPod/iPhone is docked but is not
playing any music and it is not charging
Ensure your iPhone case has been removed
I have connected my iPhone/iPod and it is
not charging.
Check the dock connection pins for
obstructions; your power supply is plugged
in, and that other devices can work when
plugged into the same power socket.
I get a warning message that my iPhone is
not supported
Please ensure your unit has been docked
securely
When my iPhone/iPod is docked, the
volume buttons on the iPhone/iPod don’t
work
Volume can only be controlled using the
volume buttons on the dock
I have the latest generation iPhone (5 and beyond) and I get an error message or the
music will not play
