• Before operating the radio, read and understand all safety instructions.
• Avoid using the radio near water or moisture.
• Do not install the radio near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other devices that produce heat.
• Clean the radio only with a dry cloth, and make
sure it is unplugged and switched o before
cleaning.
Protect the USB cable from being walked on or pinched, and replace damaged cords.
• Use only recommended power adaptors as
indicated in the specications.
• To prevent hearing damage, avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods.
Do not attempt to open, x or modify the device.

Press: Conrm menu selection. In DAB+ and FM modes, press and hold to auto- scan the frequency band.

In DAB+ mode, press to navigate forward through stations.
In FM mode, press to increase frequency by
0.05MHz. In FM mode, press and hold to scan forward for the next station.
In menu settings, move through options.

OPERATION
Fully charge the battery before using your radio
for the rst time.
Plug one end of the included cable into the radio
and the other end into a USB-A power source
like a wall adaptor, power bank or PC/laptop. The
power light will turn red.
Fully extend the telescopic antenna vertically.
Press and hold the Power button to turn on your
radio.
When you rst turn on the radio, it automatically
scans DAB+ frequencies and saves all the stations it nds.
Use the Mode button to switch between DAB, FM
and Bluetooth modes.
Adjust the volume by pressing the +/- buttons.
Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to listen to audio
from the radio on other speakers or headphones.
Check the remaining battery level in the top right
corner of the display.

Fully extend the telescopic antenna vertically.
Press Mode, and switch to DAB mode.
Press and hold OK/Scan for auto scanning DAB+
frequencies. All found stations will save.
NOTE: If no signals are found, move the radio for
better reception, or refer to a DAB+ coverage
map.
The top line shows selected station's name.
Press Info/Menu to change bottom display:
Scrolling text, Signal strength, Program type, Multiplex name, Channel and frequency, Signal
error, Bitrate & audio type, Time, Date.
Use Prev or Next to switch channels; press OK to
select.
For manual frequency scan:
Press and hold Info/Menu to access settings.
Select Manual Scan > OK.
Choose frequency > OK.
Wait for stations to be picked up; radio
switches to rst station found.

To store presets:
Tune to desired station.
Press and hold Preset.
Use Prev or Next to select preset number.
Press OK to save; up to 40 presets allowed.
To access presets:
Press Preset.
Use Prev or Next to select preset; press OK to
switch to station.

Full Scan: Press OK to scan all DAB+ stations.
Manual Scan: Use Prev/Next to choose channel
and frequency, then press OK to scan.

Extend the telescopic antenna fully, preferably in
a vertical position.
Press Mode to switch to FM mode.
Press and hold OK/Scan button to scan for FM
stations.
All found stations will be saved in presets; up to
40 presets allowed. NOTE: If no signals are found, move the radio for
better reception.
The top line shows selected station's name.
Press the Info/Menu button to change the
displayed information at the bottom, depending
on the station.
To access stored stations, press Preset. Use Prev
or Next to nd your station, then press OK to switch.

For manual frequency scanning:
Press and hold Next to scan up the frequency
band. Your radio will stop at the next available
station.
Press and hold Prev to scan down the
frequency band. Your radio will stop at the
previous station.
Short press Prev or Next button to ne-tune
each frequency in 0.05MHz steps.

Menu options
Press and hold Info/Menu to see menu options.
Use Prev or Next to navigate through menus.
Press Back to return to the previous menu.
Conrm selection by pressing OK.
The currently selected option is marked with an
asterisk (*).
Scan setting:
All stations - Stops scan for every station
received, even with poor signal strength.
Strong stations only - Stops scan only for
strong signal strength, potentially missing scanned station.
Audio settings:
Choose Stereo allowed or Forced mono.
System: refer to pages 17-18.

OPERATION ­BLUETOOTH
1. Press Mode to switch to Bluetooth mode.
2. Open the Settings app on your smartphone or
tablet.
3. In Settings, scroll down and tap "Connections" or "Bluetooth," depending on your device.
4. Toggle the Bluetooth switch to turn it on if it's o.
5. Your device will scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. Tap SPK-DABFM when you see it to start
pairing. Conrm the pairing if prompted.
6. Once paired, your phone may show a notication conrming the successful connection to the
radio. Audio from your device will now play on the radio.
7. Use the buttons on the radio or your device to
control volume and playback.
8. The radio can pair with multiple devices, but only one can play music at a time.

NOTE: Ensure the radio displays the correct date
and time before you set an alarm.
Press and hold Info/Menu to see menu options.
Use Prev or Next to navigate through menus.
Press Back to return to the previous menu.
Conrm selection by pressing OK.
The currently selected option is marked with an
asterisk (*).
1. Go to System.
2. Choose Alarms.
3. Select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
4. Set the time (hour and minutes).
5. Choose alarm ringing time: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes.
Snooze time is xed to 9 minutes.
6. Select source: Buzzer, FM, DAB.
7. Choose frequency: Once, Weekends, Weekdays,
Daily.
8. Adjust the volume level.

9. Set alarm status to On/O to activate/deactivate it. Press OK to save. If alarm is On, Alarm 1 and/or
Alarm 2 symbols will show on the LCD display.
When the alarm sounds, press the Power button
to turn it o. Press any other button to snooze.

System menu options:
Alarms - refer to pages 15-16.
Time
Set Time/Date - Manually set date and time.
Set 12/24 hour - Choose between 12-hour or
24-hour format.
Set date format - Choose DD-MM-YYYY or
MM-DD-YYYY.
Auto update - Set to: Any (default), FM, DAB,
No update.
Backlight
On level - Adjust brightness level (Low,
Medium, High).

Timeout - Set duration (10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90,
120, 180 seconds, O - backlight always on)
Language
Select display language: English, German, Italian,
French, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Finnish.
Factory Reset
Select Yes and press OK to reset settings to factory defaults. The radio will restart and auto scan DAB+ stations.
SW version
View software version number.
Sleep
Set timeout duration: O, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No/poor reception
Extend and position the telescopic antenna
vertically. Adjust its direction or the radio's
location for better reception.
Ensure there are no large metal objects or
electronics nearby causing interference.
Perform a factory reset by navigating to System
> Factory Reset in the menu to restore default settings, which may improve reception.
Check for available DAB+ stations in your area by
visiting https://www.digitalradioplus.com.au and entering your postcode.
No sound
Increase the volume on both the radio and the
source device if using Bluetooth.
Make sure no headphones are connected to
the headphones jack, as this mutes the built-in
speakers.
If using Bluetooth, ensure pairing is active on the
source device and media is playing. Re-pair if necessary.
Perform a factory reset to restore default audio
settings if needed.

No Power:
Charge the rechargeable battery fully by
connecting the radio to a 5V USB power source
using the included USB cable. The power light
will turn red when charging.
Ensure the power cable is correctly inserted
into both the radio and the USB power source. Try using a dierent USB cables and USB power
source if necessary.
Press and hold the Power button for a few
seconds to turn on the unit. The LCD display
should illuminate.
