INTRODUCTION
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SKP-BT206 wireless speaker with duo option. This speaker can be used as a mono speaker paired to any device with a Bluethooth audio feature, such as mobile and smart phones as well as Bluetooth enabled tablets. It can also be paired with a second SPK-BT206 speaker (sold separately) for true wireless stereo sound.

GETTING STARTED
Check the contents of the box and make yourself familiar with the controls and inputs of the SPK-BT206
Charging the Speaker
While the SPK-BT206 may have some charge, we recommend that when charging the SKP­BT206 for the first time it is left to charge overnight. Subsequent charging will take far less time to complete.
Using the included micro USB cable, connect the small end to the DC-Input on the rear of the speaker and connect the other to a powered USB port on a PC, Laptop or AC to USB charger.
When charging the Charging LED on the rear of the speaker will light red. When the speaker is fully charged the LED will go out.

Connecting the Speaker
Pairing the Speaker
1) Press and hold the power button on the rear of the speaker for 3 to 4 seconds until a tone is heard from the speaker. This indicates the speaker is now turned on.
2) Press and hold the Pairing key for 2 seconds until a short tone is heard and the pairing key starts flashing rapidly blue.
3) Turn on a compatible device and connect to the SPK-BT260 through the devices Bluetooth menu as described in the devices user manual.
Reconnecting
Once the speaker has been paired to a device, it is paired to that device until it is paired to another.
To reconnect to a paired device, ensure the Bluetooth feature on the device is on and turn the speaker on. The device should automatically connect to the speaker.
Audio Playback
1) Select an audio track to play as normal on your device and press play on the devices app or software.
2) Volume and playback can be controlled on the device as per normal.
Speaker Controls
Pause/Play
Playback can be paused by tapping the Play/Pause button on the front of the speaker. Press again to resume playback.
Volume Control
Volume can be adjusted be tapping the Volume Up Button (+) or Volume Down Button (-) on the front of the speaker. The speaker will speak the phrase “Volume down” when the Volume Down Button (-) is pressed speak the phrase “Volume up” when the Volume UP Button (+) is pressed. The phrase “Maximum” will be spoken when the volume is up as far as it will go.

TURNING THE SPEAKER OFF
Turning the Speaker off
To turn the speaker off, press and hold the Power button on the rear of the speaker for 3 to 5 seconds until the Pairing key turns red. Release the power button and the speaker is now off.
Connecting a Second Speaker
Connecting left and right speakers
A second SPK-BT206 (sold separately) can be added to provide stereo sound.
1) Makes sure that both speakers are turned off.
2) Select a speaker and press and hold the power button on the rear of the speaker until the pairing key starts flashing green. The speaker will also start beeping. This is normal.
3) Select the second speaker and press and hold the power button on the rear of the speaker until the pairing key starts flashing green. The speaker will also start beeping. This is normal.
4) The pairing keys on both speakers will continue to flash green for about 30 seconds until paired to each other. The Pairing key on both speakers will flash blue when they are connected.
Pairing and audio device to the matched speakers
1) Tap the “M” button on the front of the speaker. Each speaker will state either “Left Channel” or “Right Channel”. When used as a single speaker tapping the “M” button will return the phrase “Standalone Mode”.
2) Pairing an audio device can only be done using the left speaker. Press and hold the Pairing key for 2 seconds until a short tone is heard and the pairing key starts flashing rapidly blue.
3) Turn on a compatible device and connect to the SPK-BT260 through the devices Bluetooth menu as described in the devices user manual.

Speaker Controls
Pause/Play
When 2 speakers are used, playback can be paused by tapping the Play/Pause button on the front of either speaker. Press again to resume playback.
Volume Control
Volume can be adjusted be tapping the Volume Up Button (+) or Volume Down Button (-) on the front of either speaker. The speaker will speak the phrase “Volume down” when the Volume Down Button (-) is pressed speak the phrase “Volume up” when the Volume UP Button (+) is pressed. The phrase “Maximum” will be spoken when the volume is up as far as it will go.
Volume can be adjusted on each of the speakers to set the correct level and balance to accommodate where the speakers are located. The volume control on the connected device can then be used as the master volume.
CONNECTING THE 3.5MM AUX CABLE.
Devices can be connected to a single speaker only using the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux input cable.
Before connecting the cable to speaker, please ensure that the volume on the connected device is lowered to about half before playback.
Connecting the Aux input cable to speakers that connected will disconnect the other speaker.
The volume controls on the speaker can be used although no audible response will be given.
The “M” button and the play/pause buttons are disabled when the Aux input cable is used.

Problem Solution
Speaker will not turn on
Charge the speaker for approximately 2 hours. Speaker will not pair to my phone/tablet
Please refer to the user manual for your phone/table in
regards to pairing to a Bluetooth device.
Playback volume is low
Check the volume on the speaker(s)
Check the volume on the device.
Check the volume level on the media being played.
Volume is distorted
Adjust the volume on the Speaker(s) and the device and
lower until distortion disappears. Cannot connect to second speaker
Make sure that each speaker is charged before trying to connect. Turn off and follow the connection steps again.
Speaker is not charging
Make sure that the USB port that the cable is connected to is powered.

WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS
Laser Corporation Pty Ltd (“Laser”) warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided. The benefit of this warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates. Through a network of retailers and resellers, Laser will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, neglect or improper storage. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. How to make a product warranty claim: Step 1: Find your receipt which proves the date of purchase. Where the date of purchase cannot be verified, your place of purchase or Laser will make an assessment based on the date of manufacture, the condition of the Laser product and the type of defect. Step 2a): Contact your place of purchase. They will assess the nature of the fault and refund or replace the product as per their store refund or warranty policy.
