INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Thank you for choosing the Lanaform® Aroma Spring. The Aroma Spring interior fountain will bring serenity and wellbeing to your home thanks to its calming circulation of water. It will also disperse cold scented mist and will project
colourful light throughout your home.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR FOUNTAIN, ESPECIALLY THIS BASIC SAFETY
INFORMATION:
• The Aroma Spring is an interior fountain. Always place it on a hard, flat, horizontal surface inside your home. Always
keep it away from walls and heat sources such as stoves, radiators, etc.
Caution: if it is not placed on a horizontal surface, the Aroma Spring fountain may not work properly.
• Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device.
• Do not connect or disconnect the plug of the appliance with wet hands.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a similar cord available from the supplier or the latter’s after-sales
department.
• Do not leave the device exposed to sunlight for long periods.
• Do not take apart either the device as a whole.
• Do not switch on the device when there is no water in the reservoir.
• Do not lift the glass dome when the fountain is working. If you notice a strange smell or sound, turn the device off
immediately and consult the section «breakdowns and remedies» in these instructions. If the problem continues, have
the device examined by the supplier or its after-sales department.
• Do not use essential oils that are not recommended for diffusion. To find out which essential oils are recommended,
consult the advice provided in these instructions for use.
• Do not use per fume or synthetic essences as these could damage the device.
• Unplug the device before cleaning it.
• Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in this manual.
• Never scrape the transducer with a hard tool; consult the cleaning advice in these instructions.
• The device should be used preferably for 30 minutes at a time, but can be used several times a day if you wish.
• This equipment is not intended for use by people, including children, with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities,
or by people lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed beforehand on how
to use the equipment by someone responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Place the fountain in the room half an hour before turning it on, on a flat surface, so that it can adjust to room
temperature (a).
• Ensure that the fountain is clean.
• Connect the reservoir to the glass dome using the silicon tube (b). This tube should be connected to the pump. Ensure
that the two ends of the tube are properly connected to the pump and to the glass dome (c).
• Fill the reservoir with a maximum of 350 ml clean water (the pump must be submerged). The water temperature must
not be more than 40°C (d).
• Pour two or three drops of essential oils in the reservoir (e).
• Place the dome over the reservoir, making sure that it has been correctly positioned on the designated notches (f and g).
• Connect the plug, with dry hands (h). The fountain is ready to use.

Functionalities of the fountain:
M button «fragrance option»:
Press once; the mist dispersal and the light effects will star t to work. Press again and the system will turn off completely.
W button «fountain option»:
Press the button once and the fountain will start to work. Press again and the fountain option will turn off.
If you want the two functions to run simultaneously, press on button M and then on button W. The circulation of water,
the mist and the projection of colours will create the perfec t environment for relaxation.

Important notes:
- Only use clean and fresh water, preferably water that has been boiled and cooled.
- Do not move or refill the reservoir when the fountain is working.
- If the water flow is not sufficient, adjust this using the button on the pump (Figure 2 (i)).
- When there is no more water in the reservoir the water level indicator will turn red. Refill your fountain.
- Caution: EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A SAFETY DEVICE THAT STOPS THE TRANSDUCER WORKING, DO NOT LEAVE THE DEVICE
CONNECTED WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING IT.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RELATING TO THE USE OF ESSENTIAL OILS
- Before using the essential oils, please check the harmful effects that use of these products may have on your health.
- Always choose quality essential oils that are pure, 100% natural and intended for diffusion. Use them in moderation and
with care. Follow the instructions and warnings stated on the packaging of the essential oils, in particular by ensuring
that:
• Pregnant women, people with epilepsy, asthmatics and people suffering from allergies and those with hear t
problems or serious illnesses do not use essential oils.
• Essential oils should only used for periods not exceeding 10 minutes in a baby’s room (under 3 years old) and only
when the baby is not ac tually in the room.
• Make sure that children and minors do not play with and use the device.
- Just a few drops (3 to 4 drops at most) of essential oils are sufficient to ensure that the device works properly and the
scent is being diffused. Excessive use of essential oils could damage the device.
- First pour water in the reservoir, then add a few drops of essential oils.
- Lanaform® cannot be held liable in the event of accidental damage resulting from any use contrary to the instructions
given in this manual.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
If the water contains too much calcium and too much magnesium, it may deposit a “white powder” in the device. If this
foam is deposited on the transducer (ceramic ring emitting ultrasounds, Figure 1 (6)), this will prevent the device from
working properly.
We recommend:
1) Using water that has been boiled and cooled each time it is used.
2) Cleaning the reservoir every 2 days and cleaning the transducer every week.
3) Changing the water in the reservoir every 2 days.
4) Cleaning the device (see explanations below) and making sure that all its parts are completely dr y when it is not in
use.
To clean the transducer (Figure 1 (6)):
1) Put 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on its surface and leave them there for 2 to 5 minutes.
2) Brush the foam off the surface with a soft brush. Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
3) Rinse the reservoir of the base in clean water.
4) Do not use soap, solvent or spray cleaner to clean the transducer.

To clean the reservoir:
1) Clean the reservoir with water using a soft cloth and vinegar if there are foam or limescale deposits on the inside.
2) Rinse the reservoir in clean water.
To clean the silicon tube:
1) Rinse the tube in clean water. Use a few drops of vinegar if there are limescale deposits.
2) Wipe with a soft cloth.
Storage:
After cleaning and drying the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children.

ADVICE REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE
• All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed
of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a
paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.
• When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with
the law.
LIMITED WARRANTY
LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the
date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the
guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use,
accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort,
that is outside LANAFORM®’s control.
LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of
purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee
is only valid through LANAFORM®’s Service Centre®. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than
LANAFORM®’s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:
• Aroma Spring is een kamerfontein. Plaats ze altijd op een harde, vlakke en horizontale ondergrond in uw interieur.
Plaats ze op enige afstand van muren en hittebronnen zoals kachels en radiatoren.
Opgelet: als ze niet op een horizontale ondergrond staat, is het mogelijk dat de Aroma Spring fontein niet correct werkt.
• Controleer of de spanning van uw netwerk overeenkomt met die van uw toestel.
• Gebruik geen natte handen om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken of erin te steken.
• Een beschadigd snoer moet worden vervangen door een soortgelijk snoer, verkrijgbaar bij de leverancier of zijn dienst-

• Laat het toestel niet gedurende een lange periode in de zon staan.

• Schakel het toestel niet in als er geen water in het reservoir zit.

• Gebruik geen synthetische geuren of parfums, want die kunnen het toestel beschadigen.
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór u het toestel schoonmaakt.
• Was niet het hele toestel met water en dompel het niet onder in water. Raadpleeg de schoonmaakinstructies in deze
handleiding.
• Krab nooit met een hard voorwerp over de transducent. Raadpleeg de schoonmaakinstructies in deze handleiding.
• Het is beter om het toestel gedurende periodes van 30 minuten te laten werken, en dit desgewenst verschillende keren
per dag.
• Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen, kinderen inbegrepen, met een verminderd fysiek, zintuiglijk
of mentaal vermogen, of door personen zonder ervaring of kennis, tenzij ze, via een persoon die verantwoordelijk is

• Plaats de fontein een halfuur vóór inschakeling op een vlakke ondergrond in de kamer, zodat ze op kamertemperatuur
kan komen (a).
• Controleer of de fontein schoon is.
• Verbind het reservoir met de glazen koepel met behulp van het silicone buisje (b). Verbind dit buisje met de pomp.
Controleer of de twee uiteinden van het buisje op de juiste manier zijn verbonden met de pomp en de glazen koepel (c).
• Vul het reservoir met maximaal 350 ml zuiver water (de pomp moet ondergedompeld zijn). Het water mag niet warmer
zijn dan 40 °C (d).
• Giet twee of drie druppels etherische olie in het reservoir (e).
• Plaats de koepel op de juiste manier weer op het reservoir, op de speciaal daar voor voorziene inkepingen (f en g).
• Steek de stekker met droge handen in het stopcontact (h). De fontein is nu klaar voor gebruik.

Druk één keer. Er komt damp uit het toestel en het lichtspel begint. Druk nog een keer en het systeem wordt volledig
uitgeschakeld.
Knop W ‘optie fontein’:
Druk één keer op de knop en de fontein begint te werken. Druk nog een keer en de fonteinfunctie wordt uitgeschakeld.
Als u wilt dat beide func ties tegelijkertijd werken, drukt u achtereenvolgens op knop M en dan op knop W. Het stromende
water, de damp en de kleuren scheppen een ontspannende sfeer.

Belangrijke opmerkingen:
- Gebruik enkel zuiver en koud water, bij voorkeur gekookt water dat is afgekoeld.
- Verplaats of vul het reservoir niet wanneer de fontein is ingeschakeld.
- Als het waterdebiet ontoereikend is, past u dit aan met de knop op de pomp (schema 2 (i)).
- Als er niet genoeg water meer in het reservoir zit, wordt de waterniveau-indicator rood. Vul uw fontein opnieuw.
- Opgelet: ONDANKS DE VEILIGHEIDSFUNCTIE DIE DE WERKING VAN DE TRANSDUCENT ONDERBREEKT, TREKT U DE STEKKER

EXTRA INFORMATIE OVER HET GEBRUIK VAN ETHERISCHE OLIËN
- Vóór u etherische oliën gaat gebruiken, zoekt u het best informatie op over de schadelijke uitwerking op de gezondheid
die dergelijke producten kunnen meebrengen.
- Gebruik altijd etherische oliën van goede kwaliteit: puur en 100% natuurlijk, ontwikkeld voor verspreiding. Gebruik ze
voorzichtig en met mate. Neem de aanwijzingen en waarschuwingen op de verpakkingen van de etherische oliën in
acht, met extra aandacht voor het volgende:
• Het gebruik van etherische oliën is verboden voor zwangere vrouwen en personen met epilepsie, astma of een
allergie, voor personen met hartproblemen of ernstige ziekten.
• In een babykamer (- 3 jaar) mogen etherische oliën niet langer dan 10 minuten worden gebruikt, en dit enkel
wanneer de baby niet in de kamer aanwezig is.
- Let erop dat kinderen en minderjarigen niet met het toestel spelen en het niet gebruiken.
- Slechts enkele druppels (maximaal 3 tot 4 druppels) etherische olie volstaan voor een goede werking van het toestel en
de verspreiding van het parfum. Een overmatig gebruik van etherische oliën kan het toestel beschadigen.
- Giet het water eerst in het reservoir en voeg pas dan de druppels etherische olie toe.
- Lanaform® kan niet verantwoordelijk worden gehouden voor accidentele schade ten gevolge van een gebruik dat
indruist tegen het gebruik dat in deze handleiding wordt voorgeschreven.
ONDERHOUD EN OPBERGING
Als het water te veel calcium en te veel magnesium bevat, kan het een ‘wit poeder’ achterlaten in het toestel. Als deze
schuimafzetting op de transducent (keramische tablet die de ultrasone trillingen voortbrengt, schema 1 (6)) zit, zal het
toestel niet naar behoren werken.
Wij raden het volgende aan:
1) Gebruik elke keer water dat u eerst kookte en dan liet afkoelen;
2) Reinig het reservoir om de 2 dagen en de transducent elke week;
3) Vervang het water van het reservoir om de 2 dagen;
4) Maak het toestel schoon (zie uitleg hieronder) en controleer of alle onderdelen perfect droog zijn wanneer het toestel
niet is ingeschakeld.
Voor het schoonmaken van de transducent (schema 1 (6)):
1) Giet 2 tot 5 druppels azijn op de transducent en laat 2 tot 5 minuten inwerken.
2) Borstel de afzetting met een zachte borstel van het oppervlak. Gebruik geen harde voorwerpen om het oppervlak af te
krabben.

3) Spoel het reservoir van de basis met schoon water.
4) Gebruik geen zeep, solvent of schoonmaakmiddel in sprayvorm om de transducent schoon te maken.
Voor het schoonmaken van het reservoir:
1) Maak het waterreservoir schoon met een zachte doek en met azijn als er binnenin schuim of kalkafzettingen aanwezig
zijn.
2) Spoel het reservoir met schoon water.
Voor het schoonmaken van het silicone buisje:
1) Spoel het buisje met schoon water. Gebruik een paar druppels azijn als u kalkafzettingen ziet.
2) Droog af met een zachte doek.

ADVIES OVER AFVALVERWIJDERING
• De verpakking is volledig samengesteld uit milieuvriendelijke materialen die afgeleverd kunnen worden in het
sorteercentrum van uw gemeente om gebruikt te worden als secundaire materialen. Het karton mag in een
inzamelingscontainer voor papier geplaatst worden. De verpakkingsfolie kan ingeleverd worden bij het sor teer-
en recyclagecentrum van uw gemeente.
• Wanneer u het toestel niet langer gebruikt, dient u dit op milieuvriendelijke wijze en overeenkomstig de wettelijke
richtlijnen te verwijderen.
BEPERKTE GARANTIE
LANAFORM®garandeert dat dit product geen onderdelen met gebreken en fabricagefouten bevat voor een periode van
twee jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum, met uitzondering van de onderstaande gevallen.
LANAFORM®dekt geen schade veroorzaakt door een normale slijtage van dit product.
Deze garantie op een product van LANAFORM® dekt geen schade, veroorzaakt door een slecht of verkeerd gebruik van
het toestel, een ongeluk, het bevestigen van niet-toegestane toebehoren, het aanpassen van het product of om het even
welke andere omstandigheid, van welke aard ook, waar LANAFORM® geen controle over heeft.
LANAFORM® kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor gevolgschade, niet-rechtstreekse schade of specifieke schade van
welke aard ook.
Alle garanties die impliciet te maken hebben met de geschiktheid van het product zijn beperkt tot een periode van twee
jaar, te rekenen vanaf de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum in zover een aankoopsbewijs voorgelegd kan worden.
Na ontvangst zal LANAFORM® het toestel herstellen of vervangen, naargelang het geval, en zal het u nadien ook
terugsturen. De garantie wordt enkel uitgeoefend via het LANAFORM® Ser vice Center. Elke onderhoudsactiviteit op dit
product die wordt toevertrouwd aan elke andere persoon dan iemand van het LANAFORM®Service Center annuleert deze
garantie.
De foto’s en andere voorstellingen van het product in deze handleiding en op de verpakking zijn zo accuraat mogelijk. De
kans bestaat echter dat de gelijkenis met het product niet perfect is.
